11/02/2026: We came as a family for several days and we were all delighted. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable, the rooms comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast generous and high-quality (homemade yogurt, fir honey, jams from the garden...). We felt right at home: books, games, a crackling fire, and genuine kindness. The cuisine is exceptional, with a renowned chef, awarded a Michelin star, who cooks exclusively with fresh, local produce, much of it grown in the hotel's own enormous kitchen garden. A hidden gem in the Vercors! We highly recommend it.

31/01/2026: The room was spotless with everything you could need, the breakfast was generous, and the meal was worthy of a semi-gastronomic restaurant, prepared with passion and local ingredients. 15/02/2026: Valentine's Day Evening – A Major Disappointment Arrived at the restaurant for Valentine's Day, with a menu advertised at €230 per person, requiring full payment in advance on the website, whereas most other restaurants usually only require a credit card imprint. The table, very modest for a Michelin-starred establishment, showed no particular effort other than a single rose placed on it. The chairs were in a terrible state. The accessible restrooms on the ground floor were in a catastrophic condition: a fresh coat of paint is desperately needed, not to mention the floor. No one came to greet us at our table. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to go to the reception desk myself to report the lack of service. Following this, someone came to take our order: still water, sparkling water, and a Blanc de Blancs. We were offered an aperitif: we chose a lavender gin… but nothing arrived. The first course was served while we were still waiting for our aperitif, which didn't arrive until halfway through the meal. I pointed out that it was too late and that we would have liked to have it before we started eating. They took our aperitif back… but only mine. I had to get up again to go and tell the hostess about the sommelier's behavior. Her response: "It goes with… and you should have told the other person." Incomprehensible. When he returned to serve the Blanc de Blancs, visibly annoyed, he slammed the bottle down, muttering to himself, before going to snicker with a colleague (a short-haired woman) near the kitchen, looking right at us. Unacceptable behavior. We were also informed that the sommelier's probationary period had been terminated, which may partly explain this inappropriate behavior, but it doesn't excuse it. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction throughout the meal, it is also regrettable that the chef did not deign to leave his kitchen to assess the situation or speak with us. The Dishes • Scallops: very ordinary. • Foie gras ravioli in broth: a good dish, but the broccoli had no place in the broth. • Oscietra caviar, potato emulsion: everything was cold, including the siphon which was supposed to be lukewarm. • Perfect egg with truffle: the truffle… nowhere to be found. • Pineapple-ginger interlude: interesting. • Prawn and langoustine duo, truffle broth: • langoustines overcooked, mealy, • black vein not removed (shown to the waiter). → Unacceptable in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Valentine's Day dessert (hibiscus, redcurrant, lemon): too sweet, sticky. Faced with a disastrous dinner, the waiter brought us a chocolate-Chartreuse tart with Maltese orange sorbet: completely uninteresting. A Chartreuse granita would have been preferable. Conclusion Overall, a disappointing meal. It would be better to offer less on the plate but with real skill. The overall presentation was passable, lacking any particular effort, even in the tableware. Despite this truly bizarre dinner, we were eventually given a credit. Fortunately, Johan tried to salvage the situation with his professionalism. As for the sommelier, whose behavior was insolent and vulgar, it would have been better to dismiss him earlier rather than let the dinner be ruined. Having frequented Michelin-starred restaurants, and simply by comparison, your establishment unfortunately falls short of the expected standards.

07/02/2026: We celebrated our wedding reception and meal at the restaurant. We took the nine course menu, it was incredible! From the cocktails to the dessert and everything in between. The restaurant also allowed us to take some wedding photos in the garden/ restaurant. I highly recommend spending special occasions here and enjoy their beautiful garden. Thank you for everything!!

01/07/2025: My grandparents and I came to eat lunch and you absolutely have to go! This restaurant located in the village of Venosc is truly extraordinary. The welcome was incredible, truly rare kindness. We ate really well, the zucchini soup with tomato ice cream really shocked us because it was so delicious. If you eat outside, the landscape is also absolutely magical. We ate really well and were very well received! Thanks again to the whole team who were great! I hope to come back one day!

14/11/2025: Excellent overall! A very nice selection of food, and at very reasonable prices. My only minor complaints (minor details, really): The chandeliers with their harsh light bulbs—they shine directly into your eyes! The menu is printed in such thin lines (I must have an eye problem...). And I would remove those unnecessary curtains... in my opinion. All the best, and see you soon!
