The chefs reinvent familiar recipes with a touch of creativity while preserving the essence of the ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for meals with friends as well as more special occasions like after-work drinks.

20/05/2026: Fantastic! I highly recommend it; everything was excellent. Personally, I recommend the turbot fillet, which was simply succulent, served with vegetables. The staff were very kind and pleasant.

We had a fantastic time.
Everything was perfect.
We opted for the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings, featuring a lovely selection of natural wines... a truly delightful discovery.
The view, the welcome, and the meal... everything was just right.
19/05/2026: A truly wonderful evening at La Corne d'Or; a five- and six-course meal with wine pairings; delicious dishes, friendly service, and an interesting presentation. Not to mention the superb view over the valley (the sun finally decided to grace us with its presence on May 16th) in the early evening and at sunset.

04/08/2026: Everything is always perfect at the tavern. The waitresses are extremely kind and attentive to the customers, the food is delicious, and the frogs' legs are perfectly cooked. We go there regularly and also bring friends to spread the word about this establishment. Kudos to Monique and her assistant Valentin, as well as to all the staff.
28/07/2026: Excellent value for money. One major drawback: the owner gives absolutely no initiative to the otherwise very experienced waitresses. She's the only one who takes orders, unlike everywhere else! So we waited from 12:20 to 12:45 just to place our order!!! YOU HAVE TO TRUST YOUR STAFF!!!! Apart from this disconcerting detail, the place is worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely return to this restaurant, despite the slightly high price, as it's not a gourmet establishment.

24/05/2026: A fantastic place! The welcome is warm and the menu is perfect! There isn't a huge selection, which I love because it guarantees fresh ingredients. The dishes are original, delicious, and homemade by chefs who are passionate about delighting you. We shared eight appetizers between three friends, and our taste buds loved it! All accompanied by a good wine, chosen from a well-curated wine list and with excellent recommendations from the lovely waitress! Long live the little bastards! 😋😁

The staff is incredibly friendly. The waiter even found a shady spot for my bike.
The menu isn't extensive, which is a good sign. All the ingredients are locally sourced.
The dishes were absolutely delicious, no complaints whatsoever. Homemade, of course.
I had a wonderful time with my parents.

08/07/2026: Hello, today we went to the restaurant Au Feu de Bois and we received a very warm welcome 👍😉 and excellent advice. Even our dog 🐕, Smoky, was very well received. The waiter was very friendly 👍 and so was the owner. The whole meal was superb 👍😁 from the appetizer to the dessert. 01/08/2026: Very large terrace, attentive staff, the pizzas, ravioli, salads, and ice cream were very appetizing.
Large pizza (30cm), small pizza (25cm). Good value for money. The little complimentary touch at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Convenient parking. It was busy, but conversation wasn't difficult thanks to the ample space around the tables.

04/08/2026: The place is nice overall... there were four of us. All the dishes were good, as was the staff. I give it 3 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟.
Regarding the mussels, I give them one star 🌟. Supposedly mussels marinière.
Mussels cooked in water and their own juices.
No herbs or onions.
Moreover, they were overcooked and therefore dry. All this for 20 euros. On the coast, it's three times better for much less money...

02/07/2026: We've been going there regularly for at least 10 years; the service, food, and owner are all top-notch! Tonight we treated ourselves (Spritz, oysters, generous main courses, St. Veran wine, and dessert). Don't hesitate, they often have live music on Friday nights!
12/06/2026: It's still quite expensive for what it is (quantity/quality). The desserts, in particular, are especially pricey considering they seem to be mass-produced...
But that evening there was a live band playing: that was a plus for the atmosphere.
