16/04/2026: Great family vacations. The breakfast is amazing. The kids loved the swimming pool.

08/04/2026: Absolutely lived our stay at the Grandes Rousses. The hotel was amazing, staff very helpful and the views were incredible. I’d say probably the best in the whole resort. We had a mezzanine room which was great for 3 adults and 1 child. Ski lockers are very convenient as is the standing ski lift that stops outside . We ate at both restaurants and the food was really good, as were the drinks and cocktails were so good! We loved going in the pool late afternoon for a post ski dip and again, incredible views of the resort! Can not recommend this hotel enough!

05/04/2026: A very nice establishment, the interior decor is really lovely and there's even a small terrace to enjoy. The food is equally impressive. Both quality and quantity are excellent.

02/04/2026: A wonderful evening in this superb place. In the heart of the city, this is an address not to be missed. A warm welcome, professional and efficient service, and delicious, flavorful cuisine. We simply ordered a burger, and it's fantastic! The deliciousness, the great bread, the homemade fries—we thoroughly enjoyed it. French toast for dessert to finish. Perfect. We'll be back. Plus, the museum parking lot is nearby, so don't hesitate to try this great spot.

31/03/2026: AVOID AVOID AVOID Shocking Attitude. I’ve seen some very bad restaurateurs in my time but this one was just shocking. We have a saying in English ‘You can’t teach an old dog new tricks’ – judging by her age it is definitely too late to send this awful woman to Charm School. You can see by her replies to any reviews here that dare to criticise she is just not going to learn by her mistakes, she just replies with utter disdain and sarcasm. The waitresses were nice and friendly, working for this woman must be awful. We arrived around 7pm without a booking, which wasn’t an issue as there were only two other diners, We had not skied that day due to high winds, most of the lifts were shut so were simply not very hungry. We ordered a bottle of wine and thought we may have two starters, my husband then changed his mind and wanted a tartiflette. Tartiflettes come in all shapes and sizes so we thought we would share in case it was large (we do not like to waste food). Then if we were still hungry, we could have a dessert. Having ordered, we picked up our drinks to go outside for cigarette walking past the reception, where we were met with this horrible women’s shocking attitude. We were told that we could not share a plate as this was a restaurant – like it was some sort of an amazing place that you are not allowed to share a dish – this horrible women is really up her own bottom. The way she spoke to us was embarrassing, dismissive and completely unnecessary. We only had a small amount of wine in our glasses so we said we would pay for two glasses of wine and leave. Oh no, we had to pay for the whole bottle and if we didn’t, she would call the police – how absolutely ridiculous. I wish we had of sat at the table drinking our wine and not ordering any food which we would have had every right to do but I did not want to spend any more time in her presence. We know Les Deux Alpes very well as we worked two seasons in the resort. There are many good restaurants so this one can easily be avoided. ABSOLUTE LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE I have never left a negative review on Google before, but the way we were treated was so appalling that I felt genuinely compelled to warn future customers about how they may be spoken to if they are not “hungry enough” to order more food. First Lie The very first thing we did was greet you and explain that we did not have a booking. Second Lie I never said “I’ll look around.” We were told that not having a booking was not an issue — which made sense, considering there were only two other people in the restaurant. Your waitress then showed us to a table, and we sat down. Third Lie We ordered a bottle of wine and one dish to share. At no point were we told that this was unacceptable or against any policy. Fourth Lie We stepped outside for a cigarette, and as we walked past you, you told us it was unacceptable and you did so in an unnecessarily rude and hostile manner. If we had wanted a pub, we would have gone to the Polar Bear. We chose your restaurant because we expected atmosphere and hospitality, not confrontation. This was your opportunity to respond professionally and address the points raised, instead you chose to deny everything and blatantly lie. I assume this is because you are unable to defend your actions. Shame on you.

28/03/2026: Very well prepared escargots – tasty, balanced and served impeccably. A big plus was the fact that the waiter spoke Romanian and the menu is available in Romanian, which makes the experience very comfortable for Romanian tourists. Pleasant atmosphere and professional service. I recommend with confidence. 🐌

16/03/2026: A very pleasant setting. A very warm welcome, the staff were very courteous and attentive throughout the service. They made sure to ask if everything was alright. The meal was excellent. Beautifully presented on the plates. The portions were ample; you won't leave hungry. I would describe it as a semi-gastronomic restaurant. There are three different price ranges. Weekday prices: The set menu ranges from €17.90 to €25.00 ONLY AT LUNCHTIME ❗️❗️❗️, and other weekday prices range from €27.00 to €42.00, with weekend prices from €41.00 to €46.00. There is also a special frog leg menu, prepared in various ways, ranging from €22.00 to €25.00. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the meal, as is the wine list. Parking for cars. Pergola for summer! Takeout and delivery available. The restaurant has a shop selling local and regional products, which is a nice bonus. Reservations required! My experience was very positive. I will gladly return to Rochetoirin. I highly recommend it!

18/04/2026: The restaurant itself was excellent, with a varied menu. I chose the octopus, which was truly superb. The desserts were also delicious. The service was quick and pleasant; the waiters were energetic and tried their best to accommodate us. However, I had to ask three times for ice. There were eight of us, and we only received one carafe of water, which wasn't replenished when it ran out. The atmosphere was nice, but the music wasn't great, and few people were dancing.

04/04/2026: The waitress/barmaid this Saturday morning was exceptionally unpleasant, despite the sunny terrace. Avoid at all costs! One star for the sun, zero for the "service"... You need to relax, madam!

11/03/2026: Pleasant welcome and service. If you like tartare, this is the perfect place. This brasserie specializes in beef tartare. Very good wines. A wonderful discovery and a great time on the sunny terrace.

19/04/2026: Family-run hotel in the heart of the resort, excellent bed, very good breakfast, secure ski storage. The location is central to the resort, close to the Jandri area, with all the best restaurants nearby. The owners are attentive and offer helpful advice.

28/04/2026: It's a lovely establishment, but attendance is irregular throughout the year, so places can be scarce and the wait can be significant during peak times, but the food is good.
