30/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, high-quality traditional cuisine. Very friendly staff. The liver pâté appetizer was excellent, as were the frogs' legs and the gratin dauphinois. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: A truly beautiful and peaceful spot surrounded by nature, yet very close to town. The food is excellent and refined. Special mention goes to the €38 set menu, which was particularly well done. The €55 menu, while very good, offers, in my opinion, less value for money (cheese is extra, some desserts are overpriced...). The service was efficient and very attentive. The dining room is pleasant with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We will gladly return in the summer to enjoy the superb terrace.

22/02/2026: Absolutely perfect 🤩 The chestnut starter was delicious, even though it's a simple dish, yet so surprisingly flavorful. The frog legs offer something for everyone, I loved them! And the mandarin dessert... I was completely won over; I think I can still taste that tangy flavor. And the new tea-based aperitif... well, you've made my evening wonderful.

20/02/2026: We had an absolutely exceptional time at L’Espérance restaurant. The service was simply incredible, undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. A huge thank you to Youri, Énora, and Justine, who were outstanding from beginning to end. The dishes were excellent and perfectly executed. The final touches being prepared right in front of us made the experience even more special. We truly felt Youri’s passion; he doesn’t just serve, he creates a genuine experience. The entire team was incredibly attentive and cared for us with care and kindness throughout the meal. From start to finish, it was flawless. A big THANK YOU!

19/02/2026: We ate at L’Espérance restaurant last night, and where do I even begin? It's literally the best restaurant I've ever eaten at; everything was divine! I would say the same for the service, which was simply exceptional! We were seated with a magnificent view, and the staff was welcoming, smiling, and attentive—it truly felt like a family atmosphere. A huge thank you to Justine for her recommendations, to Énora for her time and excellent service, to Marc for his responsiveness, to Lionel and Dave for their good humor, and finally... THANK YOU to Youri for his explanations, his time, and his demonstrations. We learned so much and were delighted to meet someone so passionate and kind! Just wow. A top-notch team and excellent food! I'm giving it 5 stars because you can't give more! Best wishes to all.

02/02/2026: Everything was absolutely excellent! The service was impeccable, very attentive and professional. The lentil soup with foie gras as a starter was divine, and the venison as a main course was perfectly cooked and flavorful. It was truly a high-quality experience, ideal for a business lunch. I highly recommend it!

21/01/2026: Lunch Very pleasant welcome, we ate in a quiet little room. The service was quick but not rushed. For our main courses, we had breaded Reblochon salad, gnocchi gratin, and to finish, chocolate fondant and tiramisu. The portions were perfect and the food was delicious.

Special mention goes to the waitress who was friendly and well-organized. She even took the time between customers to take a photo when she was standing in the distance and saw us struggling 😅 We didn't have a chance to thank her at the end of our shift, so here it is 😉

The dishes are delicious, expertly prepared, and made with care. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it! The owners are lovely.

17/02/2026: To the owners of this restaurant! I personally came to your restaurant to ask if my partner and I could celebrate her birthday there. We're also expecting a baby and wanted to find out the sex of our first child with a small dessert or some other suggestion from the chef; we were open to ideas. You simply told me, "NO, WE CAN'T DO THAT." I found that very cruel and a real lack of compassion. I was ready to pay to make my partner happy. When I explained that the restaurant refused this small request, she burst into tears, and it hurts me even more. It's so difficult to live in France when you're Black. Because I can't see any other reason for refusing something so simple, especially since I was ready to pay for it. I'm writing this message in tears; it's so sad!
