05/04/2026: Third time at La Pyramide with my parents, and still just as fantastic. I really appreciate how they reinvent themselves with each visit, without ever losing their high standards. The cuisine is precise, delicious, and the service is impeccable. We had a truly wonderful time. Even with its two Michelin stars, I think the restaurant deserves even more recognition.
02/04/2026: Unacceptable: Arrogance, Lies, and Contempt for the Customer As a guest of the hotel (3 rooms), I had an experience at La Pyramide that was unworthy of a Relais & Châteaux. Over €2,200 spent on dishonest and haughty service. Timeline of Events: In the Garden: We wanted to finish a personal bottle (Selosse Substance). The sommelier demanded a corkage fee for our bottle in the garden, clearly informing us that the only way to avoid this charge was to order a bottle. We specified that we would be drinking it in the restaurant during dinner. In the Restaurant (Bistro): We kept our word and ordered a first bottle. We then finished our second personal bottle (€130) and, to compensate, ordered a second bottle from the menu plus spirits (€755 total drinks). The Dispute: A corkage fee of €106 was charged. A second sommelier dared to claim that our purchases weren't "equivalent in price" to our Selosse. An arbitrary and insulting rule. The departure (lies): At checkout, the receptionist brought in a third sommelier. After admitting that, as hotel guests, our drinks in the garden were ultimately complimentary, he falsely accused us of bringing a third bottle, which is completely untrue. Outrageous attitude: The receptionist was appalling, implying that we didn't understand "French etiquette" and downplaying the incident because we were "at a bistro." In total, we endured 40 minutes of unpleasant discussions spread over two days. Despite a promise of a refund, a week later we still haven't received anything. Conclusion: An establishment that prefers to lie and "lecture" rather than own up to its mistakes. Petty management to be avoided at all costs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following the response from Management, which we have duly noted, we wish to clarify some important points. Contrary to what has been stated, your sommelier clearly indicated to us that the corkage fee would not apply if we ordered an equivalent number of bottles at the restaurant. We therefore ordered two bottles, in good faith, based on this information. Under these circumstances, it is incomprehensible and unacceptable that this charge was nevertheless added to the bill, without any prior notification or confirmation from us.

18/10/2025: I'm very disappointed with the value for money at this restaurant. Ordering a simple plate of crique (a potato specialty) for €13 and receiving only three small, very thin pancakes, barely 7 cm in diameter, is truly excessive. It's just potatoes; the price isn't justified. Can you imagine a plate of fries for €13? After hesitating, I finally ordered the kidneys in sauce, which, at €27, were not very good and very simply prepared. A dish at this price should offer a much better experience. I don't recommend it; the price is absolutely not in line with what is served.

20/02/2026: We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Le Vernay for our February ski holiday. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, with a cozy and refined atmosphere and all the amenities (ski storage, luggage storage, hairdryer, and toiletries). The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very well located, close to the Nordic center.

21/04/2026: Booking from April 11th to April 18th, 2026 – it was my first time, but certainly not my last! I was worried after reading the last-minute reviews. But what a surprise when I arrived! Everything was so well thought out! The covered parking, the musical welcome on the first day, the smiles on every staff member's face!!! And that makes all the difference! You feel welcome all the time. The food is very good, much to the chagrin of the "bourgeois bohemians" used to luxury! For an all-inclusive, it's flawless!!! Different dishes every day, and in the morning there's a juicer and citrus press with all sorts of fruit. I admit the dishes aren't always perfect, but they just need to be changed. I think that happens with all dishwashers! The bar with real cocktails, real Coke, real bottles, and real spirits—this is truly remarkable, as I've stayed at other all-inclusive resorts where the showers are often connected to dispensers of overly sweet stuff! The afternoon teas were lively every day with waffles, crepes, and candy. Every lunchtime before dinner, there were appetizers like onion soup, toasted bread, and an incredible Savoyard fondue, all served in a great atmosphere! I have absolutely no regrets, and as for the room, I had no complaints whatsoever! A breathtaking mountain view, towels changed daily, hooks everywhere for hanging clothes, storage space, and a balcony—truly nothing to complain about! The decor was lovely, and above all, the ski equipment available in the hotel and the ski lifts right at the foot of the hotel—you really can't get better comfort. There was a ski locker that corresponded to the number of guests and the number of rooms, heated to ensure dry equipment every day. I hope to return. It's an expense, yes, but I absolutely don't regret it!!!! I don't understand the negative comments about this hotel.
19/04/2026: - The cleanliness of the dishes was poor. The sight of the dirty glasses, plates, and cutlery was disgusting. A layer of food residue covered them. - For ski rentals, customers had to fasten their own ski boot buckles. This severely limited customer service. - Since I couldn't book my Belambra package online, I explained my problem on the first day, but there was no attempt to understand the issue with our reservation, and consequently, no assistance was offered, forcing us to pay full price. - The "all-inclusive" claim is a lie given the extremely high cost of parking. In the future, please consider offering some compensation to customers or seeking subsidies from the local council. - The imposed and limited hours prevent customers from fully enjoying their stay. It's more of a race against the clock, with customers dictated by Belambra's schedule. A continuous self-service system would be more appreciated, as everyone has different appetites and preferences, especially German, English, and Spanish guests. - Regarding the rooftop restaurant, the menu is fixed for the entire room. - Regarding the muscle-awakening activities, they are much too late to be on the slopes by 9:00 AM, making this service inappropriate. - Regarding the elevators, a solution needs to be considered to address the interminable wait. In other words, installing an up/down button would improve the comfort and mood of all your guests. - In the room, there is a significant lack of storage space, coat hooks, and towel racks. - Regarding the room's amenities, there is no magnifying mirror, the bin stand is broken, and the coat rack is broken. - Housekeeping was neglected, with the vacuuming not being done regularly and attention to detail regarding broken or missing items. - The pool's closing time in April could be reviewed and extended. 8:00 PM is much too early; it's impossible to get there. Another race against time. - The variety in the self-service area, especially at breakfast, was mediocre and lacking. - The view of the garbage bins from my room is deplorable for a guest like me who spends half her time in her room.

16/03/2026: Just lunch on this Sunday in March, but a real treat for the taste buds. What can I say about this menu called "Pleasure," where you'll discover a perfect balance of flavors with local, homemade products, prepared to order, and, without giving too much away, some original touches (e.g., beetroot soup with Bleu de Sassenage cheese...). Furthermore, the dining room is lovely and the service is friendly and efficient. What a joy to find a restaurant where you can enjoy such a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. Madam Chef, I look forward to returning to try your dishes and desserts. See you soon.
06/03/2026: We ate at the restaurant one evening at the beginning of March. We were delighted with our meal! The welcome was very pleasant. Finally, home-style cooking, a good selection on the menu, and very reasonable and affordable prices for many families. Moreover, the quality was excellent. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the delicious shepherd's pie (finally something other than nuggets for the children's menu!). We will definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu. Note: the young waiter who served us was very professional and pleasant, which was much appreciated.
