A chic yet relaxed atmosphere—if such a thing exists. Warm and professional service. A place well worth a visit.

My colleagues from the region and I had lunch there several times while preparing for our event on March 16th, and it was fantastic! The packed lunches for the staff were also perfect for the day of the event.

19/04/2026: Fantastic stay at Sans Souci in the Vercors! Estelle took excellent care of us from beginning to end. The breakfast before our 3-day bivouac was incredible, exactly what we needed for our hike. Plus, she gave us lots of great tips about the region. A top-notch welcome, we highly recommend it ;)

The ice cream is to die for.
22/07/2026: A perfect place to stay in the heart of the Chartreuse mountains, in the charming village of St Pierre d'Entremont. L'Herbe Tendre is run by a friendly team who warmly welcome hikers, cyclists, and tourists alike, whether they're enjoying a delicious meal or relaxing in the garden by the stream. We loved spending an evening there enjoying a fondue (in the middle of summer, yes indeed!) and returning to spend the night at the gîte. A huge thank you to the whole team!

29/03/2026: We only had lunch at this establishment; it's not a hotel.
How can I put it, without being unpleasant, that we ate very well, however, the service didn't live up to the price.
Let me explain: no tablecloth on the table, the wine was brought to the table without a taste, and you only got one glass... There were other things, details for some, but when the menu costs €50, you expect a certain presentation.
If you're not too fussy, you'll eat very well.

Subtle desserts! The digestif, in particular, was absolutely sublime!
A must-try if you're in the area.
Excellent value for money.
08/07/2026: A wonderful experience in June at Le Sabot de Vénus. Home-cooked dinner in the evening, a delicious ravioli gratin with a Clairette cocktail. A very warm welcome as well!
