15/02/2026: We ate there last night after a movie at 8 pm. The fries were cold. The burgers were also cold, and the meat was cooked medium instead of rare. The blue cheese was tasteless. At 9:30 am, the restaurant was empty for Valentine's Day. And the staff were already tidying up the patio inside while you were still there. Not to mention the other patio that was already packed away in the middle of the restaurant. In short, this restaurant isn't what it used to be; it's over for us. What a shame.

03/02/2026: When I entered, the waitress was engrossed in a personal conversation with two other customers, completely unrelated to the service. Despite waiting for about a minute, she only gave me a fleeting, almost annoyed glance before immediately resuming her discussion, as if my presence were irrelevant. No welcome, no consideration, no professionalism. I left calmly, without a word. This blatantly casual attitude is undignified and insolent, hardly acceptable in an establishment meant to serve customers.

25/02/2026: I only drank the €2.50 coffee and I didn't like it at all... Luckily, there's a coffee shop across the street with quality coffee. The staff is under too much pressure, the boss is visibly a little too hysterical, they should have an extra waiter and above all, they should change the quality of the coffee which looks good because it's creamy but it lingers in your stomach. Never again.

08/03/2026: I am currently at this restaurant for lunch. When placing my order, I asked for a carafe of water. The waitress only gave me a glass of water. I asked her again for a carafe of water, minutes passed, and still no carafe. I asked a manager for a carafe of water, and she replied, "We only give out glasses of water." I am 52 years old, and I have never seen anything like it. Especially since some tables have carafes of water. When paying, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager. She replied, "If you were thirsty, you could have ordered a bottle of mineral water." I strongly advise against going to this restaurant.

11/02/2026: We had a meal at this small, friendly restaurant in the resort. However, the quality, quantity, and price didn't live up to our expectations. I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied after only one main course and one dessert. The menu was simple and featured traditional mountain cuisine. The service was quick and impeccable.

25/10/2025: Le Pèr’Gras is one of those Grenoble institutions where you enter with enthusiasm, almost fervor, convinced you're experiencing a suspended moment, an exceptional moment worthy of its history. The warm and sincere welcome maintains this promise for a while. The illusion works, like a first-year soufflé: we applaud the goodwill, we forgive the clumsiness... until everything collapses on the plate. To accompany the aperitif, some sausage and cheese rolls. A disconcertingly simple appetizer, suggesting that here, tradition flirts dangerously with the cafeteria. At this rate, next time, I'll book a restaurant at a gastronomic restaurant to enjoy some Pringles: at least it would be perfectly in line with the current inflation rate. The room, quickly overtaken by the hubbub, makes the charm of the first few minutes vanish. The service, friendly but clearly lost in the menu, struggles to answer even the simplest questions: the composition of a dish, the ingredients in a mocktail, the origin of the products. As the hesitations mount, doubt sets in. As for whether the mocktails are made from local produce, no one can say, not even the server, visibly as intrigued as his customers. The dishes arrive unpresented. No announcement, no explanation, as if mystery were meant to replace rigor. But the surprise here isn't tinged with magic. It simply denotes a certain laxity, hardly in keeping with the codes of a restaurant claiming to be gourmet. Faced with food intolerances, particularly lactose, one would have hoped for more attention, even a hint of creativity. Instead of the unsuitable dessert, two modest pieces of cheese, accompanied by wilted grapes, served as an alternative. A makeshift solution, more resigned than inventive. The cuisine, finally, remains adequate, but lacks brilliance. It executes rather than expresses itself, and leaves the palate in a polished neutrality, far from the culinary emotion one expects from a restaurant of this reputation. Do you have to try the most expensive menu to be surprised? If the Harvest menu, at €49 per person, is already barely convincing, how can you be tempted by the Pèr'Gras menu at €73 or €78? The question is worth asking. Then there's the view, sumptuous, sovereign. A breathtaking panorama, which alone justifies the pilgrimage. But in this sublime setting, the meal lacks soul, as if the restaurant, strong in its past, had fallen asleep on its reputation. As it stands, a historic address which would benefit from rediscovering the rigor, precision and creativity that its name still evokes for so many Grenoble residents.

01/03/2026: We were surprised to learn that this hotel had been awarded four stars. While the building and grounds are certainly beautiful, the interior is tired and could use a refresh. In our room, the framed photo had slipped, revealing the background. There was no mini-fridge, only instant coffee sticks and a kettle. The bathroom was clean but dated, with a wall-mounted hairdryer yellowed with age. The spa is lovely, but a strong musty smell detracts somewhat from the experience. Regarding the food: dinner and breakfast were excellent. The quality of the dishes was beyond reproach. However, if you book through Voyage Privé, the service seems different. We had requested two separate beds but were given a double bed upon arrival. After a 30-minute wait, we were informed that everything had been sorted out. In reality, the beds had simply been separated, without being made: no individual duvet and a sheet that was too small. I had to retrieve the double duvet, crumpled up in the closet, while my friend simply wrapped herself in a sheet to sleep. At the restaurant, it was also pointless to remind them three times during the meal that we had booked through Voyage Privé. Especially since, beforehand, we had asked what was included: the answer was "the menu." Upon arrival, only the menu for the resident group was on the table, with no other options available. As for the "complimentary cocktail" voucher, it was limited to a kir cassis, with no alternative. So we left disappointed, despite the pleasant setting and excellent cuisine.

22/02/2026: Beautiful castle, lovely room with a rustic style. Beautiful spa, it's a shame they only allow 10 people at a time as it gets too crowded. Excellent gourmet restaurant. Only the restaurant staff seemed completely lost.
