21/07/2026: Excellent stay! The value for money is unbeatable in Grenoble. The rooms are very pleasant and the pool is a real bonus. A small error occurred during my stay, but the team reacted quickly and professionally, providing a solution and a very thoughtful touch, thanks to Manon, whom I particularly thank. The restaurant was also a wonderful surprise, with dishes cooked over an open fire adding real value to the experience. A truly great place to stay, and I will definitely return!

09/08/2026: After a hike with the children, we were able to have a drink and an ice cream on the terrace with a magnificent view. We went back two days later for a full meal. It was good, but unfortunately, the wait was very long. Two hours for an aperitif, a meal, and dessert. We weren't particularly in a hurry, but the waitress, who was very friendly, was overwhelmed and trying to do everything. There was clearly an organizational problem within the team. As for the meal, it was good; you're mainly paying for the view, but it wasn't exceptional. The burger bun was overcooked, and the sharing platter could have been more generous. But I'm nitpicking because we had a good time. The blueberry tart, however, was delicious.

10/09/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant; we had dinner there as a group of four during our visit to the area. It was the only restaurant that agreed to serve us at 9 pm. The mussels were excellent, served with homemade-style fries. The beef was cooked to perfection. The mushroom stew was excellent. The dessert was homemade. The chef and the waitress were very pleasant. Thank you!

11/08/2026: I bought a pack of 10 cream puffs on Monday morning, which should theoretically be fresh, but they weren't. They were hard and didn't taste great. I asked the employees if they were fresh that day, and they said yes, which clearly wasn't the case. Considering the prices, it would be nice if they didn't sell products that were several days old. In any case, I won't be going back.

30/08/2026: I found this restaurant with an app that counts calories in photos. This bacon burger fit perfectly into my daily protein intake. The dish was really good. The service is quick and the atmosphere is pleasant.

09/08/2026: A young waiter at the bar apparently had trouble serving water to a customer. You should find another job, young man. And when someone says hello, have the courtesy to respond. And you don't provide carafes of water for your customers? Well, I never! The welcome was rather cold, to say the least. A simple "hello" and a smile would have been much more pleasant. Customers don't come to restaurants to see waitresses looking miserable. Thank you in advance. Personally, I won't be going back.

09/08/2026: A huge disappointment for a place that is still my absolute favorite castle… We arrived yesterday as a family with great enthusiasm, as Château Chapeau Cornu is a place I dream about. We had chosen to come specifically to enjoy La Capella (gift certificate purchased on the website). Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. We found a hair in a dish, a fishbone that got stuck, and above all, the staff's attitude was particularly unpleasant when we simply asked for an explanation. The response we received, in essence, was that we only had to read our voucher, leaving us with the rather unpleasant feeling of being treated as "categorized" customers because we had booked with a gift certificate. No children's menu, a customer having her birthday video call as if she were alone on her sofa. To top it off, a waitress, while clearing the table, bumped into me with a plate, without this seeming to elicit any real reaction. And finally, in the restroom, I witnessed a particularly unpleasant situation with vomit in the sink completely clogging it, which is really not what one would expect from an establishment of this caliber. We remained at our table for almost four hours, even though the restaurant was far from full. This clearly demonstrates that the service was far from what we could have expected. And yet, despite all this, there was no gesture of goodwill, no real attention to try to make up for this experience. I would still like to emphasize that the dishes were excellent. The cuisine deserves praise, and the setting remains, in my opinion, magnificent. It's precisely because I love this place so much that this experience disappointed me so much. Château Chapeau Cornu remains my favorite château, but yesterday, the staff unfortunately did nothing to enhance the experience. When you come to a place like this, you expect much more than a good meal: you expect an experience, attention, and a touch of magic. Yesterday, unfortunately, the disastrous service didn't live up to the setting. I confess to being deeply disappointed. 💔

28/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The setting is idyllic, housed in a magnificent stone tower with soaring vaulted ceilings, offering an atmosphere that is both warm and elegant. The service is particularly pleasant, attentive, and professional. The dishes are exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, and the wine and spirits recommendations are excellent. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation. A special mention goes to the chef for his lobster cooked in Monbazillac wine, a dish as original as it is delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. Our sincere congratulations!

25/08/2026: Warm welcome, Excellent food, One small drawback: our partners were served before us, we waited at least 10 minutes for our food and therefore didn't eat together. I'll keep this address in mind. I'll definitely go back! 🤩

20/08/2026: On our first visit, at the end of our walk, we were unable to get a table, despite many excuses from the owner. On the second visit, we were recognized by the owner and warmly welcomed. It was nice that we had come back. We enjoyed delicious grilled shrimp skewers and chicken skewers. Prepared on the grill on the terrace by the owner and chef. We enjoyed the food, the warmth of the surroundings, and the ambiance. And, of course, the complimentary drink on the house that we received afterwards. We found it well worth it.

02/08/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. After walking several kilometers, I arrived at Ma Chaumière, thinking the restaurant was open, as indicated online. The owners were there, but refused to serve me, and then even refused to give me a simple glass of water. Their rigidity and lack of humanity were astounding. The food is mediocre, and the service is unacceptable for an establishment that claims to be open to the public. I strongly advise against going there.
