19/02/2026: The service is quick, the managers are pleasant. Nothing to report, except that if you want to eat well and have a good time during your lunch break, you've come to the right place.

24/01/2026: We had planned our general meeting at the Panorama that day... It's not haute cuisine, but I give it five stars for the overall experience from beginning to end of the service we had requested. I didn't take any photos... But, after a punch as an aperitif and a few nibbles, we sat down to eat. A very good light watercress soup with crayfish. Then a duck tournedos with porcini mushrooms and Dauphinoise potatoes. Half a Saint Marcellin cheese or a fromage blanc. Pear poached in syrup with vanilla ice cream and hazelnut pieces.

07/06/2025: The waiters were unwelcoming; we felt like we were annoying them every time we asked for another round of frog legs. Plus, they serve small quantities, and it's not all-you-can-eat because between the wait and the kitchen shutting down at 10 p.m., if you manage to get three rounds, it's great. We left there, almost going to have a prime rib to fill up. In short, a very unhealthy atmosphere in the end. They take payment without caring about customer satisfaction.

11/11/2025: It's starting badly... the glass my aperitif was served in was dirty. I returned it, and it was brought back simply wiped and still wet (so the glass hadn't been changed). The tines of my fork were sticky... cobwebs were everywhere... the windows weren't clean... the poached egg was cold, as was the gratin and the plate (luckily the frog legs were hot). Okay, I'll stop there... we paid a bit too much considering all that. It's true that what's on the plate is important, but for a restaurant, cleanliness is also important because it makes you wonder about hygiene.

15/01/2026: A fantastic New Year's Eve celebration with a truly gargantuan meal, "Mathilde-style" for those in the know. The 80s atmosphere and unpretentious clientele allowed us to take a real trip down memory lane. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

19/12/2025: Honestly, the waiter's professionalism deserves special mention. The daily special, which was advertised from the start, was no longer available, and the daily starter was also no longer offered once the order was placed. A nice and much appreciated gesture of goodwill at the time of payment. We come often and would have returned even without this, but the attention to customer service was very classy. Happy holidays to you, sir.

06/02/2026: Really good, but a €3 doggy bag... come on now. Lol, the reply, I hadn't seen it. So, is this misinformation or a disguised goodwill gesture? And are the product prices adjusted on the bill too? I really think this nonsense needs to stop :) Update 2026: apparently the owner deleted their reply... Well then, shouldn't they just own up to it?

14/02/2026: The service wasn't very good. The dessert was good.

13/02/2026: The menu was short, but the two of us found a great lunch spot. Starters: Salmon gravlax, well-accompanied, 8/10; butternut squash velouté, quite to our liking, but served lukewarm on a cold plate, 6/10. Main Courses: Sea bass fillet, well-accompanied, but far, far overcooked, 6/10; and octopus, also well-accompanied but also overcooked in water, so it became tough, 6/10. The sauces weren't bad, but since they were poured over the dishes, it wasn't possible to choose whether or not to have them. Ideally, they would have been served in a corner of the plate. Desserts: Crème brûlée, vanilla-flavored and, above all, that wonderful burnt taste so rare to find in this type of dessert, 9/10; Valrhona chocolate mousse, fragrant, flavorful, and well-accompanied, 9/10. Note: We were a little cold.

11/02/2026: Nice place, warm decor. We ate well, but I think there are fewer dishes than at the Sporting a few years ago, and the atmosphere is less convivial. Not enough Savoyard dishes and frozen desserts. Expensive wine bottles. Not enough choice at reasonable prices. A little disappointed.

09/03/2026: I came to eat on Sunday at lunchtime. I left with food poisoning. Hygiene is questionable.

07/03/2026: The staff were very professional and quick to clear the tables. The side dishes were varied and plentiful, but there was a long wait for them to cook. Most importantly, I had serious doubts about a nugget from the children's menu that smelled terrible and had a questionable taste... a small, ultra-acidic, and watery lemon verrine...

12/12/2025: The renovation was poorly done; it looks rushed and sloppy. The restaurant wasn't cleared in the evening, and we dined next to a filthy, uncleaned table, right in front of us and our noses, with the dinner of two people lingering throughout our meal. The breakfast buffet was awful, poorly presented, and unappealing. The products weren't worth the price.

06/12/2025: Stay from December 2nd to 5th, 2025 in Grenoble, for a conference. A disaster from beginning to end. Construction work every day from 8 am to 6 pm, never mentioned when booking: impossible to rest, impossible to work, impossible to take a nap. We pay for a hotel, we end up in a construction site. The key cards demagnetize 6 to 8 times a day, and to top it off, we're accused of "it's because of our phones," which is absolutely not the case. The result: a constant shuttle between the room and reception. We felt like we spent more time at reception than in our own room. The hairdryer didn't work: a blast of icy air, completely unusable. No one was able to provide me with another one, so I had to go out in the evening with wet hair in the middle of December. Unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. And to top it all off: no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. Nothing. Not even a word of apology. The prices, however, are definitely on par with a true 4-star hotel… unlike the service. I had a reservation at the Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles next week, which I will be canceling. After this stay, needless to say, I am deeply disappointed and will not be setting foot in a Novotel again for a long time.
