03/04/2026: We ate there on Saturday evening in mid-March, arriving at the age of six, in a rush after skiing. We were very welcoming, the service was good, and the food was delicious. We were very glad we found them.

27/02/2026: Change careers. We went to this establishment around 1 p.m. for lunch with friends and were unfortunately met with completely unjustified hostility. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was icy: a simple "move over," without a greeting or any consideration, from the woman who seemed to be the manager—a short-haired brunette with a cheek piercing. Fortunately, a very pleasant waitress, a smiling young blonde, then seated us. But the manager walked past us again, practically breathing down our necks and muttering, "These ones are slow." An inappropriate and contemptuous remark, revealing a profound lack of professionalism. As for the food, it was also a huge disappointment: bland, mass-produced dishes with an excessive amount of tube-style cheddar cheese, making everything inedible. We also clearly felt rushed to leave. A very negative experience, which I will not hesitate to share in order to prevent other customers from suffering the same deplorable treatment ☺️

10/05/2026: An exceptional welcome. We felt right at home here. We talked about hiking and the weather. The traditional cuisine was generous. I recommend it to hikers and everyone else.

17/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! Passing through the area, we received a very warm welcome. A very affordable set menu for a quality, homemade meal! Special mention to the coffee, which is delicious 🤩 We will gladly return.

17/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give less. Nothing is homemade, everything is very low quality. The starter was a cheap three-fish terrine, followed by ham and cream with truffles! The mashed potatoes were made with flakes... How can they serve this in a restaurant?! What a disgrace!

21/04/2026: The food was good, the waitress very pleasant and professional, but wow, was it ever so slow... 45 minutes between ordering and the food arriving... thank goodness for aperitifs!

19/04/2026: I would only give stars for the poor, very friendly but quite lonely waitress. As for the rest, it's expensive and tasteless.

31/05/2026: The food was very good, but the large mixed cheese platter could have had more varieties, as there was only one small cheese. Otherwise, the meals were very good.

30/05/2026: A pleasant moment, a good meal, a young team that nonetheless took great care of us. Even the grill chef himself brought our plates to us so they would be hot as soon as he had finished preparing them, right after we had finished our starters.

09/06/2026: The food was really mediocre… The meat wasn't cooked at all what we ordered (very dry and not rare), and the fries were just plain frozen fries that were barely cooked… We were disappointed. The waitresses, however, were very pleasant!

01/06/2026: This was our second time using this hotel as a stopover on the way home. The hotel's location is fantastic – ideal for a break while traveling – the staff is very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. Unfortunately, however, the air conditioning doesn't work. During our last visit a year ago, it wasn't even 34°C outside, yet the room was the same temperature. This time, we had to sleep in 27°C again. A shame 😕 so, unfortunately, it won't be our stopover on the way home again.

09/04/2026: This is my second time having lunch at this restaurant, this time on the terrace in a setting just as pleasant as inside. The welcome is always warm and the cuisine is refined, featuring fresh ingredients. The fish was served with glazed vegetables, and the dessert was delicious. I highly recommend it!

05/04/2026: Better to go elsewhere. They cut off the heating during the day using circuit breakers in the reception area. Dirty rooms, filthy carpet, and there aren't enough light bulbs in the bathroom—you can't see anything.

10/12/2025: This casino is well located in the heart of Villard with ample parking. Very well maintained, friendly staff. Restaurant and bar inside.

18/05/2026: No interest in customers, sugar-free muffin, no sugar with coffee, no hello, nor any polite greeting from the owner, the place is cute but the welcome is terrible, politeness costs nothing!

21/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with a wide range of traditional French dishes. Generous portions, fast service, and a convenient location for any nearby activities. The only downside is that they don't take reservations, which can be a real issue during peak season or major events. Regardless, if you're in Alpe d'Huez, it’s a must-stop for great French food at reasonable prices.
