03/03/2026: Always a warm welcome. When the sun is scarce, this is where it hides. The terraces transport us far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet we're right in the heart of it. The simple but varied menu meets all expectations.

03/03/2026: The waitress was extremely unpleasant to the customers; she clearly didn't want to be there. The food was very basic, nothing special. The appetizers were the same price as the main courses, so they were overpriced.

14/02/2026: On this evening of February 14, 2026, if I could have given zero stars, I would have… I never write negative reviews, but this time it had to be said. For Valentine's Day, a set menu was imposed at a price of €72 per person (a frankly exorbitant price), with no choice whatsoever (this wasn't mentioned to me when I made the reservation). This was all the more difficult for someone like me who doesn't like mushrooms… especially since the menu consisted exclusively of them (starter and main course). For a dining room seating around 40, the staff seemed completely overwhelmed: total disorganization, confusion over orders, and even the chef didn't know who had chosen what. When it comes time to pay the bill, expect to wait a good half hour before you can leave. And despite the fact that it's 2026, restaurant vouchers aren't accepted, even though they appear valid on the app; the waitress wouldn't budge. So bring a standard bank card. In short: appalling service and unjustified prices. Absolutely avoid this place if you don't want to leave frustrated… and broke.

14/02/2026: A fantastic Valentine's Day meal; everything was delicious from start to finish. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the dishes. Special mention to the staff, who were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. We will definitely be back!

14/01/2025: The staff is very unpleasant and not smiling or available. Too much waiting to have breakfast. They are very poorly organized.

14/01/2025: Very nice place, clean, spacious, nice background music not too loud. I took the breakfast menu with a hot drink, orange juice, a croissant, 2 slices of bread with butter and jam. Bread and croissant were fresh. The waitress is a very nice lady, welcoming and very polite. I recommend this place while waiting for your train or bus.

21/11/2025: This hotel doesn't even deserve one star... it's a rip-off... bad smell in the room... the price is very high compared to the quality... we were forced to stay because we had no other choice and we were tired 😴

15/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant after visiting Vizille Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from appetizer to dessert. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the waitress is gracious and very friendly, and the food is delicious. We highly recommend it! It's a shame we don't live in the area so we could come back. 08/03/2026: Not recommended. The dishes listed on the menu were unavailable, out of stock! My starter of mushrooms and poached egg was cold, which was a shame. The wine by the glass had a slight corked aftertaste, which was also disappointing. We reported everything, and the manager listened... they really need to improve their food service. Furthermore, it's difficult to get to the restaurant.

23/01/2026: Pretty tired building, small rooms, not clean. But the biggest surprise was extremely poor breakfast for 15€. I’m surprised how could this hotel have 8.1 on booking

22/11/2025: Excellent staff, even out of season. Fast, efficient, and friendly. Good, generous portions, and plenty of choice. Most importantly, remember to book if you want a table.

16/10/2025: Hello, Madam, Sir, I've already been to your restaurant three times. I can assure you that your waitress, a blonde woman, spoke to us very, very badly. There was no hello or goodbye, never seen before. I have nothing against the food, because it was really good. But your waitress, a woman I think is the owner's daughter, was very angry every time, never smiled, and always put down. This is the last time. I won't be going back, despite the owner being super, super nice. Nothing to complain about, and the little girl who serves us very kindly too. Thank you for changing your waitress. Have a great day.
