19/02/2026: Very disappointed with the service. We came the day after the reopening and the service wasn't up to par. We were seated under a pergola where the cool air blew in throughout the meal. They spilled the garbure (a traditional Pyrenean soup) on us and forgot the Nutella in our crêpe... Luckily, the quality of the food made up for the service.

02/02/2026: It's a shame, the dishes looked good, but we waited two hours just to eat the appetizer. The waitresses weren't up to scratch. A disappointment, even though the owner seemed sorry. If this team stays in place, there's no point in going.

14/01/2026: A warm welcome. Good and generous meal. Deserves 4 stars. However, I'm giving it 3 stars because of the coldness in the dining room. Lunch under the arches is highly recommended in summer.

29/12/2025: What a shame about this stay. Two rooms in four nights, rooms with very amateurish decor, lacking character and charm, no Wi-Fi, and the remnants of the wardrobe and television assembly still in the wardrobe, all for a price that's more like a 3-star hotel. It's a pity that behind the false office ceiling, the small skylights more or less covered with plastic or cardboard, and the dilapidated placo, the treasures and charm of these Chalosse townhouses aren't showcased. And yet, the location on Place de Verdun is absolutely fantastic. We'll choose a different place for our next family vacation.

08/09/2025: Restaurant experience: One Monday at lunchtime, the set menu was advertised at €25 (starter/main course/dessert/coffee). We were told to choose from the €34 menu for our selections, but that at lunchtime it was indeed €25. Being in a hurry, we skipped the coffee, and then the bill came to €34 for the set menu! We asked for an explanation, and the owner, unfriendly and even quite curt, told us that since we hadn't ordered coffee, it was €34! No, this isn't a joke! Outrageous!

30/12/2025: The food was very good and everything. Very welcoming, quality, price, and quantity were good, between €10-20 per person just for the main course. In my opinion, there aren't many drinks (compared to other restaurants).

20/09/2025: The pizza is the worst pizza on the earth. The sauce was horrible, it was too sweet.

08/03/2026: The kebab was disgusting, the chicken wasn't even cooked, it was tasteless, and the tacos were the same. Apparently, judging by other reviews, we're not the first. That's reassuring. We ordered through Uber Eats, so we had to call and go there in person for a refund. When I arrived, they criticized my car!! Completely irrelevant. I didn't think you had to drive a Porsche to appreciate their kebab. What a mentality...? Unbelievable. Be careful. Avoid this place. It's CRAP!!!

24/09/2025: An invitation to discover this restaurant's products and specialties. The grilled meat is excellent, with perfectly cooked fish. A substantial seafood platter for one person. A great atmosphere, and the server is energetic, friendly, and cheerful, with excellent self-deprecation. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for the welcome and the service, not to mention the kitchen staff who delivered.

22/09/2025: This evening we had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful French fish restaurant. The service impressed us from the moment we entered. The two waiters exuded a pleasant, uncomplicated friendliness, which immediately created a warm welcome. We opted for marinated mussels and a parillada. Both dishes were excellently prepared and an absolute highlight. To finish, we chose homemade desserts: chocolate mousse and profiteroles, which were not only visually appealing but also tasted of the highest quality. You immediately notice that the kitchen works with love and craftsmanship. An all-round successful evening in a relaxed atmosphere that we will remember for a long time. We are sure that we will visit this restaurant again during our vacation and can recommend it without reservation.

16/11/2025: Excellent place, great meat. The owner was very kind and discreet. Beautiful fireplace. Very, very pleasant.

12/11/2025: I don't stay at the hotel because I live next door. As for the restaurant, it offers excellent value for money. I eat there regularly; it's clean, the service is top-notch, and the food is very good, including the desserts. I also had the paella there recently; it was very good and particularly generous, and my accompanying salad was impeccable. That being said, considering the portion size and the quantity of different meats and seafood, I think the salad is unnecessary, and the dish is perfectly satisfying on its own. See you soon.

24/10/2025: It's better not to use salad as a garnish for a dish than to use salad that's more than questionable and has gone bad. Uninteresting supermarket bread, the only paella dish tasted burnt, dry, everything was overcooked with battery-fed chicken, we left almost everything out. When the owner asked us if it had been despite that, my husband replied no, the owner said it was a matter of taste... Indeed, not everyone is allowed to question things.

14/10/2025: The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but what a nice surprise! Everything is homemade, well-prepared, and truly delicious. We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The products are high-quality, and the prices are very, very affordable for this level of cuisine. Plus, the welcome is warm and friendly.

08/09/2025: The server was super friendly and very dedicated, and he answered my many questions with pleasure and kindness (and gave excellent wine advice). Very good food and delicious local produce, well done to the chef. I recommend it 100%.
