30/07/2026: So... How to put it... The reception staff clearly need some sales training. The hotel staff and housekeepers are superbly trained, which is a real pleasure 😊. The pool is large and clean, and the common areas are worthy of a 3-star hotel, which it is. However, when you're quoted the price of a Mercure (€350) per night in July or August without breakfast, you don't expect to find mold in the bathrooms (photos attached). Another comment for the owners: when a guest spends over €1700 for two nights full board in two rooms with extras, charging €1 for a yogurt for a 77-year-old woman who was feeling unwell is unprofessional. At checkout, not even a simple question about how the stay went... At that price, it's a shame... But I hope future guests who read this post will be better informed than I am.

02/07/2026: Excellent food. Fast service. Welcoming and helpful staff. Special mention for the sea bream en papillote with chimichurri sauce... and the Malaysian prawns.

20/08/2026: I ordered the daily special for dinner, which was meat—tougher than a bone—accompanied by a edible salad and some brown fries. The dessert was the only saving grace. The service was very inattentive, sloppy, and unprofessional.

23/07/2026: Having recently moved to Parentis, we were looking for a good bakery. We discovered Guillaume's, and we've been going there every week since! The bread is delicious, it keeps well, and the pastries and desserts are a delight!

15/08/2026: We went to this restaurant last night when a drone show was supposed to take place on the Biscarrosse beach esplanade. It had been a while since I'd been there, and frankly, nothing has changed. The owner is incredibly welcoming and finds you a table right away, as if you were family. The waitresses are as kind and friendly as ever (even though it was packed and they were very busy). All with a big smile. The service was quick despite the restaurant being full. We ordered three crepes, which were delicious. It was a really nice time while waiting for the show, which unfortunately didn't happen (too windy). Thank you.

14/08/2026: The waitress was very friendly and responsive, and the prices were more than reasonable for such a great location. The food was excellent, with many homemade dishes. I highly recommend it.

21/06/2026: The food was very good. The duck breast was spectacular. And the Royal salad was excellent. The waiter who served us was very friendly and spoke Spanish. It was a bit warm in the dining room. It was a very hot day.

10/06/2026: Excellent lunch for a spontaneous stopover without a reservation for 8 people. The set menu is excellent value for money. I highly recommend it if you're passing through this village. You won't be disappointed.

25/08/2026: A beautiful and spacious dining room, both indoors and outdoors, overlooking Lake Luc. A lovely, varied menu to suit all tastes. Everything is delicious. Definitely worth the trip.

24/08/2026: Although our meals were good, they were still quite expensive overall. Furthermore, the wait was excessively long the day we went. When dessert arrived, we weren't even offered the daily specials, which weren't on the menu. Finally, two men were smoking at a table on the terrace while I had my one-month-old baby and my four-year-old daughter with me, and I'm a non-smoker. With all this, the experience by the lake was not a success.

09/03/2026: Very disappointed. The food was mediocre and the portions were tiny. A ridiculous, tasteless squid box for €9 and a hefty bill of €87 for two. The waitresses were clearly inexperienced. I won't be going back.
