Upon arrival, we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the Citronnelle room: 70 square meters of pure bliss, a truly exceptional place. But beyond the sumptuous setting, it was above all the soul of this place that moved us. The staff is simply fabulous. Their kindness, attentiveness, and delicacy are rare… We immediately felt welcomed, valued, almost expected. Dinner at La Table de Michel Guérard (Three Michelin Stars) will remain a truly unforgettable experience. A nine-course meal of incredible finesse, delivered by a team of remarkable precision and harmony—like a true orchestra where every gesture is perfect. The next morning, breakfast at Michel Guérard's was just as perfect… and feeling so at home there, we decided to extend the experience by also having lunch at La Ferme aux Grives to further explore this unique place. Here, everything is designed with heart. It's not just a luxury hotel: it's a profoundly human, warm, and genuine place, and that has become extremely rare. 29/10/2025: I'm really disappointed with this establishment. I was on holiday in Mimizan last week with my godson. They didn't even give me my change for my €20 note, claiming I hadn't seen it. I complained to the staff, who told me it was my responsibility to watch my money and that he "wasn't my father." As a person with a cognitive disability, if I hadn't noticed, they would have kept the €16 for themselves. They are real thieves and dishonest, and on top of that, they humiliated me in front of my godson. I will never go back to that bar!

25/10/2025: I've visited the Marquine farmhouse inn several times. A rustic place with a strong Landes feel, and more specifically, Chalosse. It offers a warm, even friendly welcome. The dishes offered are almost all farm-fresh. Cooked and served with love and the spirit of the land. Which includes, among others: Garbure Landaise, a rustic vegetable and duck confit soup, Foie gras, confit gizzard, and smoked duck breast make up the Landes salad. Unbeatable prices for value for money. (Producer to consumer). Parking is available in the farmyard. A drawback for people with reduced mobility: access to the inn and restrooms is not easy. The inn is located near Mugron, a quiet and peaceful place with very easy access. This village, nicknamed "the belvedere of Chalosse" due to its altitude, offers breathtaking views of the region. In Mugron, a cinema shows mainstream and art-house films. Nearby: Kiwi plantations, with the possibility of direct sales to consumers. The Abbey of Notre-Dame de Maylis has been an Olivetan Benedictine abbey since August 30, 1948. It is located in Maylis (10 km from Mugron). Gregorian chants are sung by the abbey's monks during services. The Chalosse Museum in Montfort presents a typical 19th-century farm estate (10 km from Mugron). In addition, Numerous traditional festivals take place in the surrounding area from April to October.

25/02/2026: It's always a great pleasure to stop at Cœur des Landes! The welcome is consistently warm: Eugénie and Jérôme are truly delightful hosts, you immediately feel right at home. As for the food, it's consistently flawless: the dishes are always excellent and generous. The real bonus? The value for money. The prices remain very reasonable considering the quality of the service and the products. A reliable, friendly, and delicious place that I recommend without hesitation!
