06/10/2025: A truly blissful moment in Contis-Plage! On our GR8 hiking trail, we stopped in Contis-Plage for a simple lunch break... which turned into a delightful moment. From the moment we arrived, a welcoming, friendly, and attentive welcome enveloped us like a summer breeze. The team is quick, approachable, and exceptionally kind. The dishes are simple yet elaborate, bursting with color and flavor, a true feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and the setting, nestled between the ocean and the pine forest. You can sense a wonderful collective spirit here: the staff and management take the time to come and chat, to make sure everything went well, with a sincerity that warms the heart. A charming and light-filled stopover that I recommend without hesitation to all travelers in search of a little humanity and real flavors.

02/06/2025: We had a wonderful time at this gourmet restaurant overlooking the ocean. Each dish was a true work of art, as beautiful as it was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. The setting is simply magical: breathtaking views of the waves, a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a family get-together. The service lived up to the cuisine: warm, attentive, yet discreet. A special mention goes to the chef who came to greet us at the end of the meal! A huge thank you to the entire team for this moment suspended in time. We'll definitely be back! 🙏🍷🍴

07/11/2025: I went to Mojo in Dax for a birthday and it was a wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is friendly, the setting pleasant, and the service truly welcoming. You feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The cocktails are excellent, the food delicious, the portions perfect, and the prices very reasonable. Overall, it's a high-quality restaurant, both in terms of the food and the overall experience. A great place that I highly recommend and where I will gladly return. 🍸✨

02/01/2026: A very nice place, well decorated for winter, but a bit too warm for New Year's Eve (animal rug on our laps and toilets outside when it was -2°C). Otherwise, the food was good, and the servers were very attentive. A minor complaint about the DJ who didn't manage to create a lively atmosphere.

13/12/2025: A very warm welcome. Pleasant setting. Impeccable service. We discovered this place for a birthday. The €43 menu was very comprehensive, starting with the traditional garbure soup. Then came a duo of foie gras (one plain and one pan-seared) and another of calf's head ravigote and pig's trotter (generously served). Next, tournedos of beef (a large, very tender cut) with sautéed potatoes, a duo of scallops, and grilled sea bass fillet with baby vegetables (also generously served). Dessert was crème brûlée and Dame Blanche. The dishes were all very good and served in generous portions. It was truly a very positive discovery in every sense of the word.

14/01/2026: The starter took a while to arrive, but the rest was quick, which made up for the initial inconvenience. The main course was very good, the dessert was decent, but I was disappointed with the starter. The portion of the starter was too small. Overall, the restaurant is good.

13/01/2026: Le Bistrot de la Mer is an excellent restaurant in Mimizan that I highly recommend. I came with my family for my birthday and we had a lovely time. The decor is tasteful, the food is delicious, and the staff is particularly attentive to our needs. Thank you again for your delicious cuisine and warm welcome. ☀️

19/01/2026: I would like to share our family experience from this past Friday, which I believe deserves to be highlighted. From the outset, we felt somewhat "less valued" than other customers, even though we had purchased two vouchers. We were given extra time, which we appreciated, and paid a small additional fee at the end. We were at the bistro with our two children, and despite this, we had to wait approximately 25 minutes before even speaking to the staff. The interactions with the servers were not always very pleasant or attentive to our presence as a family, which is all the more disappointing given the very good quality of the food and the establishment itself. This experience is regrettable, as it contrasts sharply with the image one might have of your establishment and the undeniable quality of the meal. We would have liked to feel the same attention and consideration given to other customers, regardless of the payment method. The meal itself was excellent, and we enjoyed certain aspects of our visit, but the welcome and service left a mixed impression. For example, we were the last to leave, and no server came to greet us or help us with our coats, which would have been a simple but much appreciated gesture. We hope this feedback will be helpful so that all customers, regardless of their payment method, can enjoy the full and welcoming experience your establishment deserves.

31/12/2025: Hello Meal of December 13, 2025 The starter was good, the duck breast strips were overcooked, the potato gratin was slightly overcooked, and the rice pudding with caramel dessert was too sweet. That's all.

02/01/2026: I have never been so well received by such warm, quick and smiling staff, even though they were about to close, and the food was of high quality with fresh and local products for a very reasonable price...so if you want to start the year well, run to L'Estaminet, you will not be disappointed and will enjoy a friendly moment in a warm atmosphere.

10/09/2024: Ne ratez pas cette expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Accueil remarquable par un couple adorable, attentionné et très professionnel. Nous étions 4 adultes ( table 6) et à l’unanimité, nous nous sommes régalés. Beaucoup d’originalité et de saveurs dans les plats, planche à partager délicieuse , poisson parfaitement cuit , nacré, bravo au cuisinier ! 👏 dessert aux cacahuètes top! A noter également la décoration soignée, les toilettes nickel et la musique parfaite. Nous tenions à exprimer notre satisfaction, bravo à l’équipe ! 👍🙏
