11/11/2025: Excellent bread, delicious pastries. And on top of that, the saleswomen are absolutely extraordinary—smiling, quick, and efficient! We're so lucky to have them nearby!

10/11/2025: EXCELLENT. The praline cookie is the best cookie I've ever eaten. The pastries are also incredibly good. The bakery is very clean, the products are well-stocked even during off-peak hours, and the presentation is so beautiful; you can see the care and effort that went into making them. Well worth the price. A lovely bakery, just the way we like them.

15/02/2026: We celebrated Valentine's Day at this restaurant! It was impeccable; the chef and owner presented his own take on cuisine. The menu was €55 plus wine. The service was excellent, friendly and smiling. I was seated opposite the kitchen, and the chef clearly knows his stuff. Everything was spotless, from the cleanliness to the quality of the work. I spent 52 years in a kitchen; I know what's good and beautiful when I see it. I will gladly return to try the specialties at Le Goustut.

30/11/2025: The mezze format is quite nice, and the food is of a good standard. It's a shame the service isn't up to the same standard. We ordered a glass of wine, and the waitress offered us a taste before pouring it. After tasting it, we decided to order something else. The waitress then clumsily remarked, "If I had known, I wouldn't have opened the bottle." The standard practice in the industry is to offer customers a taste before serving them wine. There's no harm done if a customer changes their mind when it comes to wine by the glass. This kind of behavior detracts from the customer experience and undermines the work of the kitchen. It's a shame.

25/04/2026: Set menu €18.50 Good value for money Keep it up, we'll be back more often I just changed my review. The world is changing before Covid...set menu €13.50. And we're told that inflation doesn't exceed 2% per year.

19/04/2026: Two starters that didn't match our order. Instead of stuffed mushrooms, we received six shrimp and a hastily prepared green bean salad instead of a Niçoise salad, served directly without our consent. The flank steak was very average. The only positive point was the parking lot, perfect for quickly serving the unsuspecting customers. I do not recommend it.

18/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery this beachfront hotel was! Our rooms had ocean views, a feast for the eyes every day, and even at breakfast! The breakfasts were generous, with fresh bread, pastries, and local products! The staff were incredibly attentive, a lovely team of young, dynamic, and very friendly people! The rooms were spotless. The hotel has parking and bicycle storage. Everything is there for a pleasant stay! Thank you again for your hospitality!

13/01/2026: A flawless stay to start the year in Hossegor! The room was superb, with an incredible view. The location is so ideal, and we enjoyed it from the moment we woke up and then again at breakfast in the wonderful dining room with its huge bay windows and Piwi the cat 💓 Breakfast was superb, and the value for money was excellent. We were greeted with a smile, along with our dog (essential for us), and were able to park in the very convenient little parking lot behind the hotel. The room was very clean, heated upon our arrival, and a blanket was provided for cooler days. The shower water was nice and hot, the hairdryer worked perfectly, and the welcome tray was perfect… In short, this is definitely going to become our go-to place!! Thank you! Valérie & Remi

15/04/2026: We ate well and slept well. The staff were calm, respectful, and discreet. The rooms were cozy and clean. Dinner and breakfast featured fresh products, including croissants, fresh fruit salad, and a coffee machine offering a wide variety of drinks. Thank you for this pleasant stay.

14/04/2026: A heavenly setting! Very friendly waitress, excellent local cuisine! Perfect egg and eels in parsley sauce for me and for my partner, a pike-perch fillet! We'll be back.

10/04/2026: Excellent restaurant close to lake "l'étang blanc". From the terrasse we have a beautiful view on the lake. The menu is limited but only fresh local products cooked in house. Mainly fish and duck. And very affordable.

04/05/2026: Excellent, friendly atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent and well-presented. Original decor. Intimate ambiance, background music that doesn't require you to speak loudly to be heard. Well done! I had a very good time. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: We celebrated our daughter's 20th birthday at the Auberge du Grand Mégnos. Everything was perfect: generous portions, quality ingredients, and impeccable service. The welcome was very friendly. We were a group of 30 people, and the unanimous opinion was: go there!

14/03/2026: Although this inn is a bit isolated and requires a little effort to find, the experience is well worth it. We enjoyed high-quality products at a reasonable price. The setting is authentic and relaxing. A great place for lovers of genuine regional cuisine!
