L'auberge Landaise

05/09/2024: endroit chaleureux et atypique le coté rustique de l’auberge nous a beaucoup plu. Cuisine très copieuse, compliment au chef cuisinier ainsi qu’au serveur 🙂 Nous reviendrons a notre prochain passage dans les Landes.

17/08/2024: The food and service on the terras were excellent. The only aspect that did not match with the food and service was the cashier who was not paying attention towards customers coming in for settling the bill.

Le serveur grognon, sans sourire et visiblement pressé…
Les tapas sont très bons ainsi que les frites… mais l’entrecôte bien trop cuite!
Quasi plus de dessert à nous proposer… sur une table de 14, 5 ont pris des profiteroles et dommage le chocolat était tourné…
L’erreur a été reconnue et les cafés nous ont été offert mais cela n’a pas atténue le reste…
La carte qui sur internet s’avérait très alléchante mais sur place seulement 5 plats de proposés…

Welcoming and pleasant staff, very good advice, excellent rooms and bathrooms, varied and very good meals, in short it is good to see an establishment like that. I'll save the address for next time!

19/09/2024: Beautiful place whose address was given to us by my brother who lives in the region.
This time we did not dine there because we were expected at Vieux Boucau. (What a shame, Lesperon has so much more charm!). The hotel is really charming with a beautiful terrace on which we happily had a very good breakfast. What is pleasant is the charm of this beautiful house. Indeed, we feel good there because we are not in a stereotypical hotel setting but in a house that the owners have tastefully furnished.
Thanks to them! This type of hotel is becoming rare.

Very warm welcome. We really liked the decor. Very diverse and plentiful breakfast. We recommend.

09/09/2024: Passing through the Landes on a stormy evening, we stopped for dinner. 1st reception, rather cold by a person sitting in front of the door and who told me to leave my dog (a small lapdog) in the car, reflection from the gentleman behind the bar saying he did not want 15 dogs in his restaurant!!!
It got cold, we stayed for dinner and nothing to get excited about. Additionally, given the storm, the roof was leaking. It would be good to review your opinion on animals!!!!.

24/10/2024: We have come to this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied with the cuisine, the warm welcome and the convenient location. We had excellent pizzas and an excellent duck breast during our last visit at the beginning of October...Every time we want to go to the Landes with our camper van we go to Le Pignon. We will come back and recommend this restaurant. Well done to the whole team

The welcome, our dishes, namely a Landes-style duck platter with foie gras, smoked duck breasts, rillettes, and sausages! Then, grilled squid and gourmet coffee, truly delicious
