The restaurant lives up to this, with the added bonus of high-quality dishes, a diverse menu, beautiful presentation, and elegant décor. The same can be said for the accommodation, which exudes tradition and bygone values ​​– everything that allows Parisian city dwellers like us to escape. If you're looking for an experience different from the usual high-end hotel fare, don't hesitate to visit the Relais de la Tour, chat with the owner, explore the beautiful Sologne region, and sample the restaurant, whose chef is also the owner. A must-visit!

31/05/2026: We stayed two nights at the Relais de la Tour, a charming and authentic hotel. However, we couldn't sleep because there was no way to regulate the room temperature, which was unbearably high, even after a significant drop in temperature on the second night. Buoyed by PSG's second consecutive Champions League victory, we arrived at the Relais for a drink on Saturday evening, which was served by the owner. If I had been informed beforehand of the drink prices (€12 for a Get 27), I would have immediately returned to my sweltering room.

29/06/2026: We tried to eat there on June 27th. The waiters moved us to different tables three times, only to finally serve us hot cocktails without ice and low-quality food. The staff was unpleasant, except for one young student who was sorry about our experience. In short, it was so bad that we had to eat somewhere else.

28/06/2026: Passing through Blois with friends, we decided to stop for a drink and some ice cream. We sat wherever we could find a table that hadn't been cleared. The waitress, who wasn't at all friendly, asked us to pass her our glasses when she could have gone around and cleared them herself. She also hadn't cleaned the tables. When our ice cream order arrived, it was practically melted. The wait was also very long. I was very disappointed with this place, which otherwise seemed pleasant on this pretty square. I don't recommend it.

06/06/2026: We had our wedding meal there a year ago, and our guests, as well as ourselves, were extremely satisfied. We returned on June 6, 2026, for our first wedding anniversary. The service is still impeccable. The staff is very attentive. The food is delicious. The little touches mean so much to us.

24/05/2026: We came to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and received a very warm welcome. The staff were very attentive and knew how to adapt to each of our needs. The food was superb, very refined, generous, and could easily earn a Michelin star 👍. Excellent value for money!

05/04/2026: Dinner with friends. Attractive menus. Very good meal, beautiful presentation, wide selection, very convivial atmosphere. I recommend it.

14/03/2026: Passing through Vendôme for a visit, we stopped at the restaurant "Au Rond Point de Serviette." Arriving a little late, the very friendly waitress still seated us. We had a small aperitif, a main course and dessert set menu, hake fillet and crème brûlée for him, and a gourmet coffee for me. Homemade dishes! We ate very well! A great place to remember!

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

28/06/2026: We have been frequenting Logis Hotels for a long time, but this one was nothing like that. The room smelled awful, the carpet was dirty, and the towels smelled bad. Breakfast had to be eaten very early because nothing was replenished. Luckily, the staff were friendly! On the evening of our arrival, the restaurant was closed, and we were left to fend for ourselves! We will not be returning.

16/05/2026: I had a wonderful 5-day stay at this hotel. A huge thank you to the entire team for their unfailing kindness and friendliness: from the reception to the service, everyone was exceptionally friendly and attentive to the guests' needs. The restaurant offers simple cuisine of very high quality and truly excellent. My room was clean and a good size, and I slept very well. It's a place where you immediately feel at home!

22/05/2026: We've known La Grange aux Oies for over 30 years. We used to have lunch there on the day of the Souvigny Goose Fair in Sologne. This year, it was a disaster for both of us! Aside from the fact that the fair itself is a complete mess, we were extremely disappointed by the restaurant. Upon arrival (two couples, a two-year-old child, and a small Yorkie), we were "greeted" by a young woman who must have asked the owner (I assume) where to sit, as there were no high chairs or booster seats for the child. Once seated (it was noon), we waited half an hour without anyone paying any attention to us, not even giving us a menu! So we gathered our things to leave, and no one stopped us to apologize, even though tables that arrived after us were being served! The worst part is that the front door was locked with a latch, so there's a real risk of panic in case of an emergency! Even customer safety isn't guaranteed! Was it the child or the dog that caused the problem? Or was it just extremely poor organization? We even saw a couple who, barely seated, were moved to another table very rudely... STRONGLY DISCOURAGED!

01/05/2026: A real gem! La Grange aux Oies in Sologne is an absolutely charming place, with an authentic decor that immediately creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Since the arrival of the new chef and owner, the quality has clearly improved: refined, flavorful cuisine full of character, showcasing excellent ingredients. Each dish is prepared with care and passion, and it shows in every bite. A perfect place to spend a wonderful time, whether with family or friends. I highly recommend it!

15/05/2026: Extremely disappointed. A joke. The waitress was alone, handling the cash, taking orders—partial orders because the bell rang, and she had to go serve... The drinks menu was old, with every other line crossed out. Warning! We waited and waited without a menu. Warning! The mobile chalkboard was barely legible. Apparently, the fridge was empty too. No more butcher's cuts (they offered minced steak!!), no more fries, hardly anything. A single, mass-produced "goat cheese duo" on two slices of toasted New Year's Eve bread on an endive salad, with nothing else, for €12—it left a bitter taste. Nothing like the photo in the review. People kept coming in and being seated while the choices dwindled. No discount on the bill. It's a shame, it looked nice. Communication needs a complete overhaul, both verbally and in writing. Crossing off the item before saying "no, we don't have that anymore," or "oh, we don't have that either," isn't complicated. Anyway...

18/02/2026: My partner and I had booked a couples massage, which unfortunately couldn't be done due to a masseuse having to stop working—something that happens. After that, we had access to the wellness area, which supposedly includes a sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi, but we couldn't use the jacuzzi because the temperature wasn't high enough and the chlorine level wasn't right. If we hadn't asked, the woman wouldn't have told us. There was an unpleasant smell in the women's changing room due to sewage. Disappointed with the place.

28/01/2026: We had dinner and were delighted with the service throughout. Everything was delicious, from the amuse-bouche to dessert, and thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive to their guests.

07/07/2026: Very expensive for the portion sizes offered. (Not enough fries, salad, etc.) Had to ask for water in glasses, no sauce provided. A good restaurant for tourists! However, the exterior is nice, especially the courtyard.

04/07/2026: Appalling service, it's hard to imagine anything worse… and yet they seemed to be pushing their limits 😅 Absolutely no friendliness, no sense of service whatsoever, and for the essentials of the meal (salt, pepper…), we had to ask the next table. Luckily, they were better equipped than we were. The restaurant experienced a brief rush of about an hour, apparently enough to turn the organization into total chaos: irritated glances, tension between servers, nonexistent communication… We weren't sure if we were in a restaurant or in the middle of filming a documentary about stress in the restaurant industry. The most entertaining aspect was undoubtedly the overall atmosphere: the “show” was clearly in the dining room, not on the plate. And to top it all off, a small mistake on the bill, like the cherry on top of an already slightly botched cake. Luckily, we checked, otherwise the experience would have included an unexpected extra charge. In short, an experience worth having… perhaps, but more as an observer than as a customer.
