20/08/2024: We were afraid of getting into trouble with all these restaurants on the port which give the impression of being tourist traps like Ty mad. But after eating unlimited mussels and fries, very generously served, and a roast camenbert, then a huge galette and equally generous ice creams, we were reassured. Simple but hearty meals and professional and very friendly service. The holiday restaurant we like!

06/07/2025: A pigeon trap... not a business. The owners are changing, and so are the services... Having been regulars for several seasons, we came to eat in the afternoon with family at an establishment we thought we knew. After taking our order, the server informed us that our order didn't reach €20 and that therefore we couldn't pay by credit card... we either had to pay in cash or leave the difference as a tip... Already charging Parisian prices, we asked for confirmation, initially thinking it was a joke... but no, no joke... here we pay everything in cash, without a receipt, eh... and if you're not happy, you can just leave, which is what we did, of course. These new owners, who aren't from the restaurant industry, should quickly learn the legislation on payment methods and permitted practices before having to deal with visits from the anti-fraud department, Urssaf (French social security agency), and other government officials. It's a shame, because the establishment was previously appreciated, and not just for its exceptional view... To avoid deception, move on.

06/07/2025: Very good Mussels and fries were excellent Galette, just the way I like them! And a delicious rhubarb tart. Terrace facing the sea. Very warm welcome.

04/12/2024: Worst black angus beef i have had since i can remember, i ordered medium cooked, the meal arrived under 5 minutes, the beef was totally undercooked, no taste in anything in the dish, i asked to have it taken away, they insisted to have it recooked but i declined, after taking it away the waiter brought me the meal in a doggy bag, never have i seen such total neglect in a restaurant. I travel 270 days a year and eat in restaurants daily, never have i ever, seen such lack of professionalism in a restaurant. I paid for all, becouse i did not want to interact with the staff any more than i had to, my only hope is that this review will deliver some karma to the people/owners. The expectations for this restaurant was highly overrated.

31/07/2024: Arrived for a drink, full terrace. I wait in front for a table to quietly become available while waiting for friends. 3/4 Other groups arrive and wait like us. And when tables become available, the waitress, very “dry” like some white wines, seats people who have just arrived. Remaining very courteous, I remind him that I have been waiting for a quarter of an hour and I am abruptly dismissed. !!!!! I let him know that I remained polite. He must not have liked this and installed the people who arrived after us on the following tables. Very unpleasant, knowing how to remain courteous even with a full terrace, that can be learned.

12/09/2024: One of the many addresses of the chain, here outdoor service exclusively, in case of gray and windy weather, not very pleasant otherwise young, friendly, dynamic team and the "crepe of the moment" always lives up to the announcement (!) fresh products prices were reasonable. Recommended for a snack on the go at any time.

02/09/2024: Superb evening spent with friends at L’Abbaye de Villeneuve. We loved everything, the abbey itself, the kindness of the staff, the obvious dishes which delighted us from the first to the last, the accuracy of the wine pairing and this unforgettable moment when we were able to meet the chef and his team . Special mentions to Marthe, the sommelier, the different waitresses and chef who served us and were absolutely adorable, the bartenders and of course the Chef! Thank you very much for this unforgettable evening <3

09/11/2024: L’endroit est vraiment bien , bord de plage , par contre manger une bouillabaisse à 96€ pour 2 personnes !! Pas très clair sur le menu , c’est indiqué 48€ une bouillabaisse pour 2 personnes mais finalement facturé à 96€ !!!! Fait attention quand vous commandez ce plat !! Pourtant c’est juste un plat populaire, rien de spécial mais à ce prix !!! C’est un peu abusé

03/11/2024: Le serveur Jorges où Georges professionnel, touche humour, sourire en permanence un vrai pro comme on aimerait trouver dans certain restaurants merci beaucoup pour son professionnalisme venons depuis 9 Ans ET toujours aussi bien dans tous les niveaux ( des restaurateurs)

28/09/2024: Petite salle agréable et véranda très lumineuse. Service un peu long (mais c’était complet et ils n’étaient que 2 pour servir). Accueil souriant. Plats classiques, bien servis. Les pâtes, de notre point de vue, étaient un peu trop cuites. Excellent tokay.

14/09/2024: Cet établissement jouit d'une bonne réputation dans Tripadvisor (le 2ème restaurant de la Turballe). Pas déçu par la cuisine. Tous les plats étaient excellents et le choix suffisant. Ce restaurant manque un peu de chaleur. La gérante est une vraie professionnelle, mais manque de convivialité (si vous n'êtes pas des habitués). Le serveur est efficace, mais sa tenue est négligée et il est aussi peu loquace que sa patronne. Ce restaurant mérite les critiques favorables sur la cuisine, et vous pouvez vous y arrêter sans risque d'être déçu si vous ne recherchez pas la convivialité.
