10/05/2026: A mixed experience. The two young waiters were really cute and very kind to us. However, the savory crepes were way overcooked, way overfilled, and way too buttery! It's a shame to complain about the excess, but as a result, we enjoyed our meal less and left feeling much too full. The sweet crepes were the same; they were crispy but overcooked and way too sweet and buttery again… We tried your signature cider… it had an aftertaste and wasn't to our liking! And I should mention that the cooks don't wear hair or beard protection, which can be a bit disconcerting! It's a real shame because the place is cute and the staff are lovely!

A special mention goes to the vegetarian option with its pepper patty, a refreshing change from the usual burgers! The desserts were excellent, from the extra-large Bueno ice cream to the modern take on tiramisu.

01/06/2026: We stopped at Le Point Bar on May 21st after visiting Les Machines de l'île, which unfortunately had already closed at 5:00 PM. The bar is in a lively area: lots of young people outside enjoying beers, spritzes, and cocktails, and the great atmosphere encouraged us to go in. We took the opportunity to escape the afternoon heat and ordered a couple of perfectly poured pints. The music was just right—lively but not too loud for conversation—and the service was very attentive. An ideal place to take a break after Les Machines or to start your night out on the island. Highly recommended.

I hesitated to order a second one 😅 The super friendly waiter who puts your phone on charge because your battery is dead 👍 And who helps you choose your dish 👍 Perfect timing between the aperitif and the arrival of the dishes, who regularly changes the water bottle, even if it's not empty, so there's always fresh water 🧐🙏 We had a great time. Well done and thank you to the whole team. We'll be back 👍

15/04/2026: Excellent pastries. Good bread too. Impeccable service and hygiene. All the employees have their hair tied back, so they don't spend their time fixing it or running their hands through it like in other bakeries in Pornic, or blowing their noses with yesterday's tissues while serving you bread. In short, true professionals.

02/06/2026: Passing through Pornic, we had lunch at Le Grand Bleu on the recommendation of a local after being turned away from another restaurant at 1:35 pm. We arrived at 1:50 pm: Excellent: price, choice of dishes, quality, quantity, and homemade. Simple and friendly service. No complaints, and we highly recommend it.
