29/08/2026: I had heard about this restaurant and wanted to spend some time there with my children. I was very disappointed with the meat and the desserts: two rib-eye steaks were full of gristle, and the chocolate fondant was cold inside. The service was extremely slow. As for the atmosphere, there was nothing to it; the restaurant is very quiet, perfect for someone who wants a peaceful evening! I'm sorry to leave a review, but I was very disappointed for the price I paid.

13/07/2026: This review concerns your vending machine. Second and final attempt with this machine! The value for money is really not there. The products are good, but there's a major presentation problem. The filling is thrown on haphazardly, the edges are absolutely inedible, the cheese is poorly distributed, resulting in even more inedible crust, and the pastry is really not great. Perhaps it can't withstand the machine, but I don't think you serve this kind of product in a restaurant. Personally, I'm sending it back to the kitchen immediately. Too bad, it wasn't far from home... 🤷🏻

01/06/2026: We stopped at Le Point Bar on May 21st after visiting Les Machines de l'île, which unfortunately had already closed at 5:00 PM. The bar is in a lively area: lots of young people outside enjoying beers, spritzes, and cocktails, and the great atmosphere encouraged us to go in. We took the opportunity to escape the afternoon heat and ordered a couple of perfectly poured pints. The music was just right—lively but not too loud for conversation—and the service was very attentive. An ideal place to take a break after Les Machines or to start your night out on the island. Highly recommended.

09/06/2026: We got married at Domaine de La Ferrière on June 6, 2026, and honestly, we couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our wedding. From our first visit until the day after the wedding, we felt supported, listened to, and cared for. A huge thank you to Angélique, the event manager, who was absolutely exceptional. Her follow-up was impeccable from beginning to end. For every question, every doubt, or every request, a simple text message was all it took to get a quick and precise answer. She managed our schedule with incredible professionalism and always looked for solutions to meet our needs. Without her, our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same. The day before the wedding, we discovered a room already prepared according to all the instructions we had provided beforehand: table layout, number of people per table, chairs, overall organization… Everything was already set up. We arrived with our decorations at 9:30 a.m., and by 2:00 p.m., everything was finished. This help took an enormous mental load off our shoulders at a time when every minute counted. The fact that the Domaine also provided catering was a huge advantage. It eliminated the need to coordinate multiple vendors and greatly simplified the organization. And above all… what a meal! We received an impressive number of compliments from our guests. Several people told us they had never eaten such delicious meat. Others confided that it was the first time they had ever eaten so well at a wedding. When nearly a hundred guests spontaneously comment on the quality of a meal, it truly is exceptional. The quality of the catering clearly contributed to the success of our wedding. The service was seamless, the courses flowed perfectly, without excessive waiting. Even our DJ told us that the quality of the audiovisual and sound equipment was among the best he had ever encountered at a reception venue. The Domaine is magnificent. And honestly, the photos available online don't do it justice. The grounds, the greenery, the outdoor spaces, and the overall atmosphere are even more beautiful in person. The 28 rooms are a real asset for guests traveling from afar. All our rooms were booked, and those lucky enough to stay in the suites were absolutely delighted. It was even a very pleasant surprise for some of them. We also greatly appreciated the on-site babysitters, an extremely convenient service that allowed parents to fully enjoy the evening. Even when a guest felt unwell during the reception, the team reacted with remarkable calm and efficiency. They handled the situation discreetly, provided immediate assistance, and we didn't even have to worry about it. It's this kind of attention to detail that demonstrates the team's professionalism and experience. We received hundreds of compliments on our wedding, and many of them were thanks to Domaine de La Ferrière and its staff. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose the exact same place, without the slightest hesitation. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to Angélique, for helping to make this day one of the most beautiful moments of our lives. We recommend Domaine de La Ferrière 1000%! ★★★★★

05/04/2026: Hi, we went for our 5th anniversary. The setting was lovely, the food excellent, but there was one small drawback: the foie gras arrived during aperitifs, and with the fireplace, it was a little warm, so we didn't enjoy it as much. Perhaps it was because it was a Friday evening and there weren't many people there?... However, we would gladly return.

The crepes are thin and golden, the waffles crispy, the milkshakes delicious and perfectly balanced, and the Italian ice cream ultra-creamy. Everything is delicious and generous. Very affordable prices and very pleasant staff, thank you again for treating us! 😋

11/07/2026: I go there very often; it's a beautiful beach, but less crowded out of season. The ocean view is stunning 🌊. The Cabane des Sablons restaurant is very nice and offers good quality food, and the service is also excellent. Open until 10:30 pm, it's a lovely place to relax, so grab your towels and enjoy a great time 🌊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

20/08/2026: At the entrance, on a huge sign, drinks are listed at €2, without any further explanation. If you order them to eat in, a magical €1 surcharge appears. That's not a fair practice. Edit after the owner's response: it doesn't say anywhere that this is the takeaway price. Actually, if it had said €3, I would have gladly paid the €3. But discovering I'm paying €3 after seeing €2 is just unpleasant. It feels like being ripped off. It's a shame, the sandwiches were good. You'd be better off displaying €3 upfront and offering a €1 discount on takeaway drinks.

26/07/2026: We loved our dinner at this charming restaurant. The service was quick, warm, and friendly. The dishes are homemade using fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! They also gave excellent wine recommendations. Note that there are only two dishes on the menu, so be sure to inquire beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions. The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat high price and the rather small cheese platter. I highly recommend this restaurant!

29/04/2026: This is a very high-quality restaurant. We ate outside in the summer garden. The ambiance is unbeatable in the heart of Nantes. Because of its high quality, I deducted one star for the food because the presentation of my Black Angus wasn't particularly appealing. However, the food itself was excellent.
