29/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant for a meal for 15 people. Everything was absolutely perfect! The dining room is very pleasant, the tableware elegant, and the staff welcoming, smiling, and attentive. And above all, the food was excellent, with flavorful and beautifully presented dishes. We all had a fantastic time. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and professionalism! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

05/07/2026: We chose this restaurant based on a recommendation for our wedding reception. From the very first contact, we had a great feeling about them, with excellent communication. I was able to bring a few table decorations to add a special touch. On the big day, we discovered the restaurant… I must say we had a wonderful time; everyone was delighted. The dishes were delicious, the service was perfectly paced, with a truly helpful, competent, and friendly waiter. I assure you, no one left hungry; the chef in the kitchen delighted us both visually and gastronomically. We will definitely be back. Thank you again to you both for contributing to this beautiful day.

05/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with a magnificent patio garden. Tables are fairly spaced apart. Good food made with quality ingredients, but rather expensive. Friendly service, but not quite up to the standards expected of a fine dining establishment.

27/08/2026: Reservation was fine and the staff were very accommodating, with details provided for disabled guests and for a 60th birthday celebration. However, the reception and service were too inconsistent, with too many hiccups and inconsistent attention to detail: - No aperitif was offered; we had to ask for it when ordering. - The same applied to the wine pairing; we had to ask for it at the end of the ordering process, which meant repeating the order. - The menu wasn't presented, nor was the chef's choice to prepare and serve a dish in two different ways (zucchini, green asparagus, crab, veal, tuna, chocolate, peanut, etc.). - We had to ask for bread after the dishes had already been served, and a carafe of water arrived 30 minutes after we requested it. - There was no special attention paid to the birthday celebration; no offer to take a group photo of the table, while other tables received this service. This was a very negative point, although I could excuse the rest due to staffing issues (absences and lack of experience), but the chef was present and could have rectified this. The food was decent, though the presentation was nice. The chocolate was disappointing; it was a sort of milk chocolate cream with no real presence. The veal was served lukewarm, and the tuna was served cold; I would have preferred it warm.

07/08/2026: Passing through, we were delighted to find this restaurant on our route. Ample parking was available, perfect for our campervan. The welcome was excellent and very friendly. The lunch menu was €17, with a good quality buffet of starters, a choice of main courses and desserts from the daily specials board, and drinks included (beer, wine, soda, water, etc.). Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this establishment! 👍

24/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful discovery in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin! La Petite Auberge lives up to its name: a warm, friendly, and intimate place where you feel welcomed with genuine simplicity. The cuisine is authentic, generous, and refined, showcasing fresh, seasonal produce from local farmers. We particularly appreciated the balance between tradition and creativity, with dishes prepared with care and a real focus on quality. An ideal gourmet spot to share a lovely time in the Sologne region, which I recommend without hesitation. Bravo!

14/08/2026: La Sole Dorée on a little back street near the Hotel Mercure Centre, where I was staying, is a wonderful hidden gem. I was charmed by the atmosphere & service, & absolutely blown away by the food! My first meal there was lunch where I had the eponymous sole which the waitress beautifully prepared for me at the table. At first, that was an "amuse bouche" of the best gazpacho. I've had all summer. Also, a wonderful fish dip served with little toasts. When I went for dinner, the starter was grilled watermelon (on the menu, a play on words, "pas steak"), quite delicious, surprising, and refreshing. After that, a wonderful turbot with foie gras sauce(!) It was sublime. I actually had dessert. Twice (lunch & dinner.) Little "trompe l'œil" mushrooms (or cèpes) made out of two scoops of ice cream with meringue "caps", and chocolate sauce. And, after the dinner, baba au rhum, with the bottle placed on the table, just in case. Most highly recommended.

26/08/2026: Lemon-flavored syrup served with something that wasn't lemon-flavored, made with bleached water, for €2.75. How do you expect to attract customers? I threw it away; it was undrinkable. It should be passed on to the other side; simpler, certainly, but honest.

22/08/2026: A place that feels a bit out of time, perfect for a relaxing break! Enjoyable tastings with delicious sweet and savory treats… Everything seems to be homemade with passion. We sampled some pastries (pictured) and left with chocolates. A very pleasant place. Courteous service.

15/07/2026: If I could give it more stars, I gladly would. To begin with, the service is impeccable; the staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food is wonderful, especially the Lôc lac with Black Angus. The ingredients are fresh, homemade, and prepared with care by a very friendly chef. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. I highly recommend it! It's my new favorite restaurant.

13/07/2026: It was a bit busy, so there was a bit of a wait, but for such good food, it's worth it. I recommend the pepper beef with pasta or rice; it's amazing. However, the portion is quite large; I ordered a starter and couldn't finish it. Don't worry, you can always get takeout. The restaurant is family-run, the service is friendly, and the parking lot is behind the restaurant.

The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. You can feel the attention to detail both in the kitchen and in the dining room. The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!
