25/09/2024: Pleasant service, average atmosphere with the proximity of other customers and good dishes but to be reviewed. Let me explain. Poached egg starter with “smoked bacon mousse”. It sells dreams but in fact a mousse is a whipped cream with a piece of dried smoked bacon on top, without much taste. It was good but not at all what I expected. There were two of us, we got two meats. The sauces were good, the meat quality but too bad they were both overcooked. As for the rossini, it had the texture of a mollard after the first stab. Low-end foie gras that does not hold up when cooked. So we didn't have dessert. The visual presentations are very successful, the tastes are there, but a big shame for the reasons cited. We will surely come back, being long-time customers, but not for a long time.

02/10/2024: Passing through the region, no known restaurant. Through online research, it was the note that made us stop... Excellent welcome and while waiting for our meal to be served, given the number of customers who were entering, we thought our dishes were going to be excellent. Hyper accurate intuition! Very tasty dishes whose different flavors were perfectly felt and excellent. We will keep the address and will stop on our next trip. Do you like Asian cuisine? Go there with your eyes closed and your taste buds wide open! 😁😋

23/09/2024: Change of ownership, nothing to see, still good. On the other hand, I had a beef satay on a hot plate, the dish was brought with splashes of crackling oil and when we tell them it's perhaps better to wait a little before bringing it we say it's part of folklore. So take an apron if you take it flat 😉.

13/09/2024: Arrived at 12:30 p.m., seating at the table, 12:40 p.m. Taking orders in 2 stages... why? (2 beers and a flam served 20' after the beers / dishes served after 2 p.m., following explanations with the manager). Cold and dried out fries and ribs (we taste a dish before sending it to the dining room, especially to unhappy customers)... we didn't eat them, and we left. Result: more than an hour to serve a cold dish (admittedly meals offered following explanations, but not consumed / last experience for us, and the staff of my husband's company). The notion of "customer thinking" should be reminded to this manager who was only interested in the financial part (without anything we asked for, we just wanted to eat and have fun)... to believe that we are not only wallets on legs... well no! And the customer's silence cannot be bought. Responsible for this brand, do not hesitate to contact us for further details.

25/11/2024: We have tested & approved. Everything is homemade, we had a blast! Really good food, served generously and in a warm atmosphere. A small restaurant that has nothing to envy of the bigger ones.

24/11/2024: A sunny day, a little hungry, let's go for Sunday BRUNCH! Perfect for having a good time. Beautiful establishment where you immediately feel good. The staff takes great care, in addition to being extremely responsive. Homemade food prepared with love, the flavors are balanced, excellent quality of the brunch.

A more pleasant welcome from the owner of the place and a very high quality menu in the restaurant; the breakfasts also very well provided. To recommend. 26/07/2024: It’s not so easy to find a good restaurant for an affordable price. So my 5 reflect a high value for money appraisal . My wife and i were cycling from Roanne to Nantes and in the evening we enjoy having good food and a service treating us with kindness and courtesy. This was well the case in this restaurant of Gien, a little outside the city centre (15min cycling from the camp ground) but a nice discovery. So this this Risotto with Merlu, topped with a thin slices of chorizo was not only daring but tasty. A the desert, with ricotta, an apple sorbet on a crispy chocolate was gorgeous. The room is unique, not only cosy as in a good English restaurant, but also valuable to discover the earthenware of the city. Vincent Lorant

30/08/2024: From here we visited the castles of the Loire. The location of the hotel is very well located. The hotel is a wonderful, romantic, quiet oasis. The room was very clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable there and would come back.

30/08/2024: Wonderful romantic stay on the occasion of our 35th wedding anniversary. The area is magnificent, calm, relaxing, the swimming pool is sublime. The breakfast is delicious, everything is homemade. Impeccable value for money. We will come back without hesitation. The owners are adorable. 04/08/2024: Hello following a search for a restaurant on a Sunday at 12 p.m. in Montargis we decided to stop at the restaurant la canteen which was a pleasant discovery welcoming and attentive staff small reduced menu just as I like I did not have time to take photos because we were very hungry and the service was fast the tasty dishes starters, main courses, desserts we enjoyed ourselves plus we had the pleasure of chatting with the chef after his service a very pleasant person and passionate about his job and which respects the seasons and works with local products everything that can delight our taste buds.
