02/04/2024: Outstanding! This small, local restaurant is a true gem. The hosts (Jocelyne and Chef Jean-Luc) are so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and evening at their restaurant. We wish we lived locally because then we would be able to eat at Aux Petits Oignons weekly. Best wishes from Carol and Giacomo!

13/03/2024: Guided by the positive reviews, we came here for lunch on Monday. And I confirm, the welcome is super friendly. The unlimited starters are homemade and fresh and succulent as well as the main course (it was roast pork confit that day). The meal ends with cheese and dessert (all included in the package). Very reasonable price. We will come back !

09/03/2024: Nothing beats French brioche, so soft and golden, which melts in the mouth and warms the heart. And to accompany it, what could be better than a creamy and tasty ice cream, which combines the sweetness of vanilla and the crunch of salted butter caramel? It is a delight, a marvel, an explosion of flavors. I enjoy myself, I delight, I rejoice.

17/02/2024: Perfect place to organize a chic and country wedding. Less than 2 hours from Paris, a real calm countryside. The owners have managed to beautify a green setting and provide an exceptional setting until the end of the night. The park is flowery and spacious.

05/04/2024: It’s a gem in small village ! Especially when you are on the road trip from south west of France to Dinant Belgium it will be a great place to stop and spend one or two days to explore Tavers and neighboring villages.
The reception was great and amical. The staff named Mrs Dea Cezac that served us breakfast was very charming and had helpful attitude. It was really nice experience to stay in this hotel. (We stayed one night on 31st of March 2024).
I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore center of France.

Hélène and François graciously hosted us in their charming Logis Hôtel at the heart of the Loire Valley, offering recommendations for enchanting châteaus, delectable wines, diverse cuisines, and captivating cities to explore. Nestled by the warm fireplace, we enjoyed light evening refreshments, gentle melodies from the record player, and engaging conversations. Breakfast was a delicious affair with François' delectable homemade pain au chocolat, brioche bread, and flavourful jams. The room was spacious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the morning view simply picturesque. Without reservation, we wholeheartedly recommend la Tonnellerie and eagerly hope to return soon.

31/03/2024: Here we welcome you with a smile and you immediately feel at ease. Politeness, courtesy and know-how are essential. The atmosphere is warm. We serve you good family cuisine, just like at home. The dishes are tasty, the quality products and the wines are excellent. Nothing is left to chance and even the dog was entitled to his bowl of water, without asking. True professionals at a time when we are looking for them in this profession.
This establishment is a safe bet to recommend, a stone's throw from the Cathedral!

The brunette waitress....how can I put it...very forced smile...what a shame...unlike the little blonde where the smile is natural....too bad we didn't only have this charming young woman for the service....yes everything is fine for me! But obviously you don't accept comments yet despite everything I gave you a 5... have you seen it? And for you everything is fine ??????? I would not be constructive, I would take away your stars for the lack of know-how that you have just demonstrated! Comments allow us to move forward!
30/03/2024: An excellent restaurant. The dishes are copious, well presented and above all very good. A special for the crispy pork trotters.
