Secondly, the food is excellent, delicious, and plentiful, and thirdly, the staff is super friendly. 👍 I highly recommend this place; we had lunch there twice during our vacation. 👌

16/08/2026: We ultimately didn't try the restaurant, given the initial reception we received for a simple lunchtime aperitif, which we found particularly unpleasant, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We had to wait nearly 40 minutes between our arrival, ordering, and finally receiving our drinks at the table. This wait was completely disproportionate for such a simple order. Above all, we felt like we were being treated like tourists to be casually dismissed. It seems the establishment benefits from a regular clientele, particularly generous with their reviews, but whose comments strike us as far removed from our experience and the level of professionalism expected from a restaurateur. The experience was disappointing enough from the very start to discourage us from continuing and trying the food. Treating tourists like idiots is part of their DNA: this bar and restaurant should be avoided when visiting Prayssac, a charming little village.

31/05/2026: This is a traditional hotel, not a chain. The owner and his wife are very welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

10/09/2026: What incredibly delicious food and mega sweet people too. There is a wide selection of starters, main courses, and desserts, and the lovely lady was working hard in the kitchen to get everything onto your plate in front of you at a brisk pace. The meat is roasted on an open-fire grill by the bar by the gentleman. I feel the negative reviews really do the food and the people a disservice (we certainly didn't have any frozen food). It is a local French spot, simple and cute. The decor isn't necessarily very special or cozy, but it is perfectly fine and pleasant to accompany the delicious food!

06/09/2026: What a shame! The setting was great, the service was excellent, but the food was awful! Maybe it was just an off day! So much grease, salad instead of zucchini—even the waitress didn't know what it was, everything was swimming in greasy sauce... parsley sauce without garlic... The Coppa ham without butter... Not disappointed, we won't be back.

14/06/2026: A wonderful discovery of this peaceful and pleasant place in a beautiful region. The warm welcome from the owners, the delicious meals, and the ambiance made us feel like we were staying with friends. We were delighted with our stay.

23/05/2026: We chose this inn for its amenities (set menu, swimming pool, waterfront location), its promising photos and reviews, but once there, we were very disappointed. Our reservation for the set menu on the first evening was forgotten, so we had to go out again for dinner. The swimming pool wasn't open, and the grounds were poorly maintained. Air fresheners were placed on every electrical outlet in the hallway to mask the damp smell of the building, and the rooms smelled musty. The couple who run the establishment are English; while he makes an effort to speak French, she doesn't, which severely limits communication.

21/08/2026: The welcome was cold, no smiles, you get the feeling you're bothering her. Once served, she said she doesn't accept cards and that you should go see her colleague next door at the hat shop, who also had a rather cold welcome. There's no sign saying she doesn't accept cards, which is a shame.

15/08/2026: The service was appalling and completely devoid of smiles. It's terrible when you sell such good ice cream. A complete waste. Change the saleswoman immediately!

02/06/2026: 5 euros for a half-pint of wheat beer. They're treating us like we're dumber than we are. First and last time, what a shame, but the staff were nice!

25/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs!! We simply ordered sandwiches and coffees, and it cost €6 for tasteless bread and mass-produced salami. A rip-off! Stay away! Nice view.

20/09/2026: The church is closed, the ruins are not open to visitors. Interesting for those of us who study art.

04/09/2026: It's a shame the building isn't open to visitors. The door was locked at 4 pm.

12/08/2026: It's advertised as suitable for children aged 0 to 3. We didn't really see how. The photos are misleading. When you arrive, it's clear you can't leave a 19-month-old on the play structure. There's no suitable 0-3 year old area. It's a shame we drove 40 kilometers only to find that out once we got there. The little one crying because we left without playing was just not good.

12/08/2026: Excellent value for money, parking, restaurant, and a small arcade. A children's area is also available. I recommend it.

17/10/2026: I stopped by the casino and received a very warm welcome from Alicia, who was working there. She was friendly, pleasant, and very professional. 16/08/2026: Let's start with the positives: the service was quick and friendly, and the location was great! The only downside was the food! I found it very expensive for what we were served. It wasn't very good (although the ice cream was). I ordered a steak with fries, coleslaw, and peppercorn sauce. My salad was wilted, and the fries seemed really mass-produced (and not very tasty). Homemade fries and a fresher salad would have been perfect, as the meat itself was good.

28/07/2026: A small, unpretentious village restaurant offering more than decent traditional cuisine. The owner goes out of his way for his customers. We made a reservation the day before for a table for 14 people, and it was no problem at all, with a smile and a cheerful welcome. A quality set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for under €20. The owner's wife even gave us a bowl of sweets for the children. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere, and the owner's professionalism. Thank you!

07/08/2026: A very good experience at this crêperie. The vegetarian galettes were delicious, the service was quick, and the terrace overlooking a charming little square is lovely. 👍 The waitresses weren't unpleasant, but they could have been a touch warmer. 🫣 The sweet crêpes were good, but we think one of the two fillings was missing. The ice cream topping was generous, though. 😊

07/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were passing through Rocamadour and stopped for dinner at this restaurant. The welcome, the galettes, the crêpes, the ice cream sundaes... everything was fantastic! Go there, you won't be disappointed!
