19/01/2026: That's it, we've found our go-to spot! I'm intolerant to gluten and lactose, and a whole bunch of other things, so finding places to eat is a real headache... I come to Angers every month for training and I loved discovering this delightful, cozy place with delicious food made from fresh, flavorful ingredients! And I was able to eat without fear of getting sick (and I didn't)! Thank you for existing and see you very soon! :)

14/08/2025: Very good phone contact. A very warm welcome on site. The waitress is very professional. The pizzas are delicious and everything is homemade. The added bonus is that the owner is very attentive.
I recommend it.

08/12/2025: This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle.
The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect.
The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!

Having stayed here before, I can say that breakfast was much better in the past. There's no more fresh bread from a baker! It's all industrial brioche, and the buffet is sparsely stocked.
The same is true for lunch, with frozen bread. It used to be a baker who delivered. I won't be returning; I'd rather stay in the hotels across the street.
Regarding your review: I'm curious to know who your baker is who delivers at 5 a.m.?
05/12/2025: A quiet hotel, ideal for conferences held at the exhibition center. The room was pleasant and quiet. Breakfast was adequate.

15/09/2025: The restaurant is welcoming to many people who work nearby, a stopover for us on our way. The supermarket parking lot is nearby.
Several small spaces make the restaurant more pleasant.
The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is perfectly organized and service-oriented. We ordered the E+P deal (€14.90) from the daily menu, which was very good.
07/07/2025: I came for lunch for two and it was a pleasant surprise.
A welcoming and very clean restaurant, a very pleasant, smiling waitress, and, of course, delicious food.
The only "negative" point, and even then, is the lack of vegetarian options, but they do offer a burger and a croque monsieur, which is better than nothing.
The dishes are very generous, for an unbeatable price!
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal at an affordable price.

21/02/2026: We loved it! The food was delicious! The medieval atmosphere (servers' outfits, music, tableware, and decor) was wonderful. It was a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed, and there was only one waitress. She was very efficient, but there was inevitably a bit of a wait; the meal lasted two hours. There was one waiter for the upstairs area. This is the second time we've eaten there, and we'll definitely be back!
