21/11/2024: Superb, I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. Not just pizzas, but they are quite special and definitely not frozen! Mine was quite different from the usual "machine frozen" offerings, and my husband's vegan pizza was special Dessert of the day was a brioche soaked in a salted caramel surrup, with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. 02/05/2024: I could have given it 6 stars. Very warm welcome, generous and tasty portions, good atmosphere, more than fair price! We were very satisfied with our stay. Bonus point for the surprising setting in the middle of the city!

13/12/2024: Memorable discovery between friends, I will keep delicious memories of this lunch. The setting of the castle is sumptuous, chandeliers, furniture, everything is elegant and having a meal under the beams which have retained such colors can only leave a wonderful memory. But on top of that, the welcome is friendly and frank, the explanations, whether culinary or historical, are given with precision and the pleasure of sharing. As for the cuisine, it was simply a treat! Thank you also for allowing us to wander around the castle.

Il faut être gourmand et gourmet pour apprécier cette excellente cuisine Les mets sont raffinés et les produits sont excellents Très belle présentation Délicieux amuses bouche. Nous avons tous les 5 adorés, la gouline , les ravioles de foie gras et potiron puis le sanglier, le coq, la lotte tout simplement délicieux. Les desserts furent excellents le dessert au chocolat et les figues rôties. La carte des vins est superbe. Cela mérite une étoile Michelin .. le prix du menu est plus que raisonnable. On a adoré .. on vas vite revenir! A découvrir absolument 🙏❤️❤️❤️

30/08/2024: We had dinner one evening in this restaurant which was recommended to us by the Chambres d'hôtes les workshops, where we spent a night's stopover during our Loire à Vélo route. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money of the menu. Everything was very good and beautifully presented. The view from the veranda is very nice and the service impeccable. A good address to rediscover!

09/09/2024: Wow! Had the tasting menu, with wine flight, for Sunday lunch. Superb flavours, quality, and balance, throughout. The cocktail served with desert was inspired! Very big thanks to the team!!!

15/09/2024: Une superbe découverte lors de notre escapade à Saumur, un très beau cadre, service sympathique et efficace. Excellent rapport qualité-prix concernant la formule déjeuner. C'est très très bon et plutôt original !

12/09/2024: Un ambience magnifique et un excellent service de la part d'un personnel bien formé. Le repas était excellente, magnifiquement présentée et savoureuse, mais si vous vous attendez à être rassasié après votre repas, vous serez déçu. Essayez ailleurs. Ma seule déception a été de constater qu'il n'y avait que des vins chers disponibles, pas de blanc ou de rouge maison, et 25 euros, c'était cher pour nous pour un repas de midi. Je peux comprendre que ce soit le modèle économique d'un tel restaurant mais il y a beaucoup de bons restaurants à Saumur qui proposent du bon vin en carafe ou au verre. Cependant, l'expérience a été très agréable et nous espérons revenir. Le prix global était plus élevé que celui auquel nous nous attendons habituellement pour un repas de midi, mais il s'agissait d'un restaurant de qualité supérieure. Faites-en une occasion spéciale.

18/09/2024: Very good restaurant with a top waiter and a great setting. I highly recommend eating outside on sunny days. The food was good and elaborate. Great time!

11/08/2024: Excellent time in this restaurant which has everything of a gourmet but without the frills. Presentation of dishes, service, virtuous exchanges… everything is there!

04/08/2024: Based on the wonderful reviews of this restaurant, we booked for our wedding anniversary. We were sadly very disappointed by the food- although beautifully presented, both starter and mains were unseasoned and flavourless. My starter of a medley of tomatoes with scallop ceviche used unripe tomatoes with of couple of bland scallops sprinkled on. The vegetarian main was some sort of savoury aubergine muffin on a bed of finely sliced and raw courgette- non with any flavour. My husband had the cod- once again very bland and disappointing. There was no background music, service slow (we ended up pouring our own wine) and the view of the vineyards obscured by a fairly overgrown hedge and uncut lawn. Given the prices charged we expected more- this was like fine dining from 20 years ago.

10/11/2024: The crepes and pancakes are good, the servers are top notch! On the other hand, the boss (cook) is very unpleasant with the servers, which makes the atmosphere awkward and makes us feel uncomfortable for the staff.

28/08/2024: On vacation not far away We discovered this pretty restaurant facing the Loire. Very nice setting to eat there. The mussels marinière are excellent and so is the goat cheese burger. Divine chocolate mousse. The two waitresses are very kind, friendly and smiling. Thank you for this pleasant moment. Hoping to come back to see you next year.

17/08/2024: Evening meal, bland, reheated dishes without flavor. I don't recommend. The young waitress was very pleasant.

18/08/2024: Ne vous fiez pas aux apparences. La désuétude du lieu est sans rapport avec la table. Du crémant à l’apéro qui ferait taire beaucoup de champagnes, aux terrines parfumées de saveurs étranges et inoubliables, de l’entrée au plat, c’est la sarabande de subtiles et élégantes surprises gastronomiques. Une très jolie présentation : pour elle un poisson, pour moi un rognon, servi comme un plat de fête, délicatement décorés de légumes vapeurs. Un univers de créativité dans un soucis de préserver les goûts du terroir. Un savoir-faire hors pair. C’est un restaurant gastronomique et il est bien mieux que certains étoilés. Le ton y est humble et gentil. C’est la patronne qui vous sert. L’addition est raisonnable. La carte des vins satisfaisante et le dessert est un feu d’artifice dedouceurs et de couleurs. On ne s’y arrêterait que par hasard ? Eh bien non, programmez-le ! C’est un paradis !

26/07/2024: Encore un bon souvenir de repas à O Prestige. Nous étions accompagnés de deux couples d'amis, qui ne connaissaient pas, pour y fêter nos 3 x 50 ans de mariage. Ce fut un bon moment. Nous sommes tous unanimes quand à la satisfaction de ce déjeuner. Cuisine remarquable de saveurs et de finesse. Bravo au chef, à madame et leurs serveurs pour leur aimable accueil et le menu du jour. Nous reviendrons tous bien sûr.
