27/12/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Château de la Coutancière to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The grounds are lovely and the room was very comfortable.
John and his family are very attentive and understanding following a last-minute issue we encountered. I highly recommend Château de la Coutancière for a relaxing stay in Anjou.

No complaints this lunchtime.
12/05/2026: Way too noisy, Caesar salad made with reconstituted chicken, the breading didn't even stick, no sanitation on the salad, and the frozen waffle was a disaster.

09/12/2025: Hello, I'm a truck driver. I arrived at lunchtime to find an empty parking lot. Someone approached me and told me I had to park on the other side in another lot so I wouldn't be blocked in with the cars and vans. So, I'm telling you, if you don't want truck drivers in your restaurant at lunchtime anymore, that's fine. Don't neglect them. I wasn't happy about having to park in the other lot, so I left. You're not getting my money, sorry, I don't agree. 😡 Good luck with everything.

01/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic!! We've been going there about twice a month for lunch for several years now, and it's simple: we've never had the same starter or main course twice!!! It's always amazing, and if you ever don't like something, they have a very extensive menu with incredible pizzas, burgers, salads, savory crepes, etc.
The service and welcome are top-notch 👍👍.
Long live this restaurant and their team 👏👏🤞👍

The meal was absolutely delicious: flavorful, refined, and perfectly prepared dishes. The service was impeccable, quick, attentive, and very professional. The owner is very welcoming and warm; you immediately feel at ease. Special mention for the exceptional meats—tender and full of flavor!
I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

10/04/2026: A wonderful first experience at "La Route du Sel" with the family during a motorcycle ride. The food was simply delicious, generous, and beautifully presented—a feast for the eyes as well! We had lunch in the garden with a breathtaking view of the Loire River, and the sun was shining. We were greeted with a smile, the staff were very friendly and relaxed, and we felt right at home. Highly recommended. We will be back, thank you for everything!
24/03/2026: Charming village inn, excellent cuisine with expertly cooked dishes: asparagus, fish. From spring onwards, tables are set up on the terrace overlooking the Loire, offering a superb view. I can't wait to go back.
