16/03/2026: The place was full, so we just had a coffee leaning against the counter. The waitress was friendly and smiling. The place is crowded, so it's best to make a reservation to eat there. The atmosphere is nice.

16/03/2026: We went for drinks to celebrate the reopening and ordered drinks from the menu, but they didn't have them (no signature cocktail, no Picon beer). Frankly, it was very mediocre for a reopening, very disappointing. Plus, it was noisy. So we didn't stay for dinner. It's all well and good to redo the decor, but shouldn't they also restock their supplies to be able to serve customers?

08/03/2026: Impeccable... so peaceful! The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast buffet. We were the only guests at the hostel and were treated like royalty!

06/03/2026: Hello We had a wonderful stay at this inn, run by a couple who take excellent care of their guests. Everything was perfect (meals, room, atmosphere). We stayed for three days. Highly recommended if you want to visit the Cotentin Peninsula and appreciate peace and quiet in the countryside. Mr. and Mrs. Brohée

The dishes are always superbly presented, with exquisite flavors showcasing local and seasonal produce. Wonderful surprises for both the palate and the eyes; we love this place, which truly lives up to its name. Thank you to Chef Benoît Delbasserue and his wife Géraldine; we can't wait to come back.

25/03/2026: A superb restaurant in a typical village south of Coutances. Homemade cuisine using excellent local produce, all beautifully presented. The welcome is warm and the value for money is unbeatable. A gem not to be missed.

23/03/2026: L’Ermitage Mont Saint-Michel is a fantastic place with a very high standard in every detail. From the moment you arrive, everything feels calm, well organised, and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is elegant but still warm and welcoming, which makes the experience comfortable without feeling too formal. The food was amazing, clearly made with great attention to quality and presentation. Each dish felt thoughtful and well balanced, and you can really see the care that goes into the cooking. The service was also excellent — very attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, always making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. You can understand why this place has a Michelin recommendation. It is well deserved. The whole experience feels refined, organised, and made to be special. Definitely a place worth visiting if you want a high-quality meal near Mont Saint-Michel.

18/03/2026: A charming little restaurant with an open fireplace. The manager is lovely and the waiter very friendly. The galettes were huge and delicious. The sweet Uby white wine was superb! The price is quite reasonable for the quantity and quality.

09/04/2026: An impeccable address for lovers of French cuisine/brasserie. Delicious, high-quality dishes, a good selection, and generous portions (sometimes too much). It's always a pleasure to go there for lunch. I highly recommend it.

20/03/2026: Perfect for lunch! The owner has a great sense of humor and took excellent care of our table. The dish of the day was a generous and delicious Norman salad. We had a gourmet coffee for dessert. A very good experience; I'll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: The dishes are quite simple but excellent value for money. The sweetbreads are delicious, it's a shame they're served with fries; rice would be better. The service is smooth and charming. When you book, request a table in the lounge; it will be quieter.

21/04/2026: We had a lovely lunch here today with our family of 4. We had a hamburger, 2x fish and chips, and a croque monsieur. It was all equally delicious; we really enjoyed ourselves. The service was super friendly and everything went very smoothly. We tried our best French and they spoke English, and that went very well.
