04/09/2026: A triumph of mediocrity. Limp, tasteless vegetables, small portions of fish, cheap, poorly skinned monkfish, and the same goes for the tiny skate wing, swimming in a greasy sauce. The white wine by the glass was of mediocre quality, and so on. In short, unworthy of a proper restaurant.

09/06/2026: There were three of us adults, and we ordered three set menus. The fish was fine. However, the meat arrived cold, accompanied by tasteless fries. We waited a long time for the crepes, which were lukewarm. The waiters were arguing in front of the customers. To top it all off, the toilets didn't lock! Avoid at all costs…

09/06/2026: The hotel is right in the center and therefore well located. The breakfast is plentiful and the products are of good quality. However, our room was small and therefore not up to 3-star standards. The elevator is outdated and can only accommodate one person! On the other hand, the staff were charming and welcoming.

10/09/2026: Charming restaurant that is very popular, especially for Sunday lunch. You can sit outside under shade, in a salon under ceiling fans or back in the restaurant where it is air conditioned. The fixed price menu was 40 euro for three courses, but you get what you pay for. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked. Great atmosphere with lots of locals eating there.

04/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. We simply asked if it was possible to split the bill, and the waiter's response was: "I don't care, you can sort it out yourselves." A disrespectful and completely inappropriate response for a business that serves the public.

20/12/2025: While looking for a local spot away from the tourist traps, I found La Suite, and what a delightful surprise. The colorful, inviting interior felt like stepping into someone’s warm, welcoming home. The lunch menu was fantastic. I had the split pea soup, which was rich and comforting, followed by beautifully seasoned eggplant caviar paired with a great glass of wine recommended by the staff. French, English and a little Spanish is spoken. For dessert, the chocolate coulant cake was absolutely heavenly, warm, decadent, and perfectly gooey in the center. La Suite is exactly the kind of authentic, heartfelt restaurant you hope to find when traveling. I left feeling genuinely nourished and can’t wait to come back someday. If you’re in Perpignan and want a meal that feels like home, this little gem is a must visit.

24/08/2026: We ate there last night (August 22, 2026), and Sophie gave us a superb welcome! Our server, Max, was great. The meal was EXCELLENT! The only slight downside was an EXTREMELY unpleasant waiter on the terrace; we hesitated to come because of him... But we don't regret it, thank you! 😄

26/08/2026: We only had ice cream there, so my food rating is for the ice cream. The ice cream is good, but more expensive than at seaside restaurants of comparable quality. The terrace isn't very pleasant, especially with several smokers around.

28/07/2026: The charcuterie board was far too expensive for the quality. The photos showed it as including charcuterie and cheese, but it was just four slices of sausage and chorizo ​​that barely covered each other. The mojito was undrinkable, and then the main courses we ordered were a complete disappointment: two mussels with Roquefort cheese had very little sauce, two rib-eye steaks were overcooked and very fatty, and the pepper sauce was nothing special. The two burger steaks were completely burnt on the bottom. In short, out of eight dishes, only two met our expectations. The total cost was €230. We cut our meal short and didn't order dessert. Avoid at all costs! Honestly, it's very rare that I leave such harsh reviews, but given that it's in a very pretty location, and being on a busy port during peak season, they shouldn't neglect the quality of their food. Ps: however, it should have raised a red flag for me given that there were few people there.
