20/02/2026: We arrived slightly late for our reservation — and were “punished” for it. The staff refused to take our order for nearly an hour. We were there with four small children. No explanation, no apology, just cold, deliberate neglect. After an hour of being ignored, we left. This is not hospitality. Avoid at all costs

20/02/2026: The worse place and people. Leaving a family waiting purposefully, with small children, for more than one hour out of pitifully revenge from arriving mildly late. Absurd.

13/05/2026: I wasn't very impressed with this restaurant. The terrace was pleasant, but the dish wasn't cooked as ordered (much more rare than medium-rare). The prices were a bit high (except for the daily special). They forgot our aperitif and served our main course immediately.

14/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! The terrace under a magnificent olive tree offers a truly peaceful setting. The waitress was particularly pleasant. As for the food, everything was delicious, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. An excellent experience from beginning to end; we will definitely be back!

11/07/2026: Overall, everything was fine, but they said the dining room is air-conditioned, but not sufficiently, and we ordered the steak on the tip and it was very well-done. However, the Alsatian pizza and profiteroles we ordered were delicious.

11/07/2026: We received a very poor welcome from the overweight person with round red glasses. I hope she's not the manager, otherwise she should find another job. The food was mediocre; don't come, you won't be disappointed.

09/07/2026: A short stay with a Smartbox...everything was perfect! Ideal for peace and quiet! Charming welcome...delicious meal. In short, I highly recommend this establishment.

08/07/2026: I apologize for the delay in posting my review of this establishment. We booked using a gift voucher from our children. We received a very warm welcome from friendly and attentive owners. The place is calm, relaxing, and very pleasant with a beautiful view. There's no fuss, as they say, just one menu, but it features local, organic, and homemade products. The food was well-cooked, beautifully presented, and generous. Breakfast was the same, with both savory and sweet options, homemade organic bread, and organic jam. It was just like breakfast at home. We stayed in the studio (a small supplement of 20 euros), but it was well worth it. The studio was very clean, a large room furnished with a kitchen/dining/living area (sofa), TV, storage space, bathroom, and separate toilet. Upstairs, there's a mezzanine with a sleeping area and TV. A washing machine is also available if needed. Parking is right next to the farmhouse. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for next time when I have time to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend it.

20/09/2025: Good...clean...you can park above...on the terrace...I've known several owners... But I have to say it's very clean...and affordable... I highly recommend it...right in the center of Font-Romeu... And there are some friendly businesses nearby that I'll mention...the Joffre pizzeria across the street...on the right as you exit the hardware store...on the left...the small garage and other businesses right next door...

20/12/2025: While looking for a local spot away from the tourist traps, I found La Suite, and what a delightful surprise. The colorful, inviting interior felt like stepping into someone’s warm, welcoming home. The lunch menu was fantastic. I had the split pea soup, which was rich and comforting, followed by beautifully seasoned eggplant caviar paired with a great glass of wine recommended by the staff. French, English and a little Spanish is spoken. For dessert, the chocolate coulant cake was absolutely heavenly, warm, decadent, and perfectly gooey in the center. La Suite is exactly the kind of authentic, heartfelt restaurant you hope to find when traveling. I left feeling genuinely nourished and can’t wait to come back someday. If you’re in Perpignan and want a meal that feels like home, this little gem is a must visit.

12/05/2026: Lovely place located in a gorgeous small town with more wineries than houses, that serves good wine! We visited it twice doing a couple of weeks. And both time the food, wine and service was amazing

05/04/2026: One star, but really zero! Refused service on Easter Sunday!!!! Staff who simply don't want to work. We arrived as a group of 7 and the waitress told us they stopped serving at 5 pm, even though it's peak season. So she'll sell her crepes when we get to August. A word of advice: if you want to eat a crepe, find a creperie that actually makes crepes. P.S.: On the day smiles are for sale, the waitress can buy a wheelbarrow full of them.

05/04/2026: We came on each of our last four visits, and this time we were offered food in the blazing sun even though we didn't have hats: "We don't serve inside, and you should be happy, the weather's nice." Thanks, but count us out!
