13/09/2025: We are staying at the hotel, which is lovely and the staff are very nice but I had the worst steak of my life at the restaurant and will be avoiding for the rest of the trip. A tough and gristle filled, unpleasant piece of meat. I left most of it, and it wasn’t cheap.

18/08/2025: Extremely disappointed. From the department and quite fine gourmets and knowing how to cook well (according to our friends) we scour the surrounding restaurants, in all price ranges, to treat ourselves. Given the advertising of this establishment which prides itself on creative and original cuisine with seasonal vegetables and the fact that the establishment is listed among the Toques blanches du Roussillon (L'Almandin, La Balette, la Galinette, Le Clos des Lys which we loved) encouraged us to try it. Even though it is August, the menu is more than meager, very little choice and not very original. The lack of choice can sometimes be a guarantee of quality and freshness but there is a big disappointment. My husband orders an octopus carpaccio: microscopic at 14€ and tasteless. I ordered a melon and pepper gazpacho and watermelon brunoise with olive oil and basil, normally served with focaccia, but I was told there was no focaccia, even though that was the exact combination I liked. So I didn't order anything because foie gras at 40 degrees, no thanks, and I'm fed up with farmed salmon. In addition, we will appreciate the accompaniment of chicken carpaccio with raw vegetables (carrots, kohlrabi or celeriac (I have a doubt), bagged salad which, as everyone knows, are summer vegetables!? All unseasoned and no spices, herbs, NOTHING. As for the main dishes, there is still little choice. We opt for the fish from the market at 23 euros (sea bream fillet) and the grilled sea bass fillet suggestion. Already, only one fillet, not even 100 g of fish! On the other hand, regarding the cooking, nothing to complain about. If only to compensate for the meager portion of fish, the accompaniment was correct.... As seasonal vegetables in August, "cauliflower puree" which is still digestible because at 40 degrees we do better and sweet potato puree, 2 tablespoons of each. The best part: the lazy chef "taped" (that's the word that comes to me and which suits me) under the fillet The fish, the same raw vegetable salad as the octopus accompaniment (kohlrabi and carrots), always unseasoned. The manager wanted to offer us dessert, which is very commercial, but when it's not good, it's not good. When I got home, I quickly cooked myself a meal. In short, we tried it and we won't be going back. There's no shortage of good and excellent restaurants in Roussillon! The setting, however, is very refreshing and peaceful. In conclusion, poor value for money.

20/08/2026: After extensive renovations, we were delighted to return to your restaurant and enjoy some delicious meals: a fragrant two-salmon tart with a colorful and generous salad, and my husband savored a more classic dish: marinated beef skewers with new potatoes, vegetables, and salad. We received the same warm welcome, with smiles and kind words, and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Located right in the center of Céret, opposite the museum, it's the perfect spot. Homemade cuisine.

06/03/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant is closed! The food was excellent.

05/03/2026: Shameful! We gave a gift voucher for the end of 2025, which was cashed of course… But when we went to book, we found out about the liquidation… How shameful! 😡

28/06/2026: Wonderful restaurant, outstanding service, the waitress was very attentive and friendly, the dishes were delicious, the meat was of excellent quality, and the cooking was incredible. The decor is also superb, and the atmosphere is lovely. Bravo and thank you for this fabulous experience at your restaurant.

21/06/2026: The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and we had a very good meal! The only downside is that the sauces for the meat are an extra €3, which we hadn't noticed. We had a very well-cooked Catalan steak and were able to choose our side dish and even have it blended. The place is shaded and cool.

09/09/2026: Honestly, it's hard to beat our crêperie in Narbonne, but even this was a tough sell... there's no originality in the offerings, but the batter is good and the meal itself is decent. However, we witnessed a rather absurd scene between a waiter and some customers. Let's just say the staff's friendliness leaves much to be desired, which is a shame. We waited a long time for our order to be taken, even though the food arrived very quickly afterward. It was a mixed experience, which is a pity.

02/09/2026: The creosote was delicious, but the long-haired brunette who served us was quite unpleasant. I understand that being almost on the border of the Pyrenees, we wouldn't have been the first Spaniards she'd encountered… there was no need to speak to us that way. I should mention that the lunch menu is excellent and the creosote is the same size as the ones you order individually from the menu. Salad + creosote + dessert is approximately €15, the same price as creosote alone.

25/08/2026: Nothing left to eat at 1:45 pm in August…

11/08/2026: The setting under a tree was pleasant, although the lack of music to warm up the rather cold atmosphere was a bit of a drawback. This was due to the waitress, who remained completely impassive. In this restaurant business, a little conversation and, above all, a smile would be appreciated. That said, we did eat well; the menu offered two choices, which reassured us about the quality of the food. However, the atmosphere put us off, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.

05/09/2026: I tried a seafood platter for two, and we usually get them at Sete Mèze. I think the prices are really outrageous: 90 euros for this simple platter.

24/04/2026: The website says it's open, but it's closed as of today. No current opening hours. Annoying.

07/06/2026: The owner and staff are incredibly attentive to customers. Go there without hesitation, it's truly fantastic.

22/08/2026: I had a good meal, the place is very clean, and the manager is very friendly. I recommend it.

03/08/2026: Scammers! I ordered a chicken kebab, and they charged me €7 instead of the advertised €5. The owner is very unpleasant; he gives customers a dirty look and is very stingy with the portions.

14/08/2026: I bought a salad on August 10th, with a best-before date of August 13th, the day of my purchase. When I went to eat it, the salad was in very poor condition (cooked) and inedible. I returned it after work. The saleswoman was surprised and couldn't give me a refund. In short, it seems that good quality products are no longer the case... I won't be going back. But everyone is free to do as they please... The bread and pastries seem to be of good quality. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR FEEDBACK: You suggested I come in late morning, but if I come in at 7:30 am and return at 5 pm, it means I'm working, so it's impossible for me to come during the day. However, I hope that despite the best-before dates, you will check the condition of your products before putting them on sale.

09/08/2026: I don't know if there's been a change of ownership or something, but last year it was much better in terms of the sandwiches and meals sold... for example, last year I used to get a tuna bagnat, and it was already in a box and very generously filled; now it's small, served in a paper wrapper, and only half full.

19/04/2026: The owners are very kind, the view is stunning, we were on the 5th floor... with an elevator. Extra generous breakfasts.

05/03/2026: The apartment was very functional and very clean. The key box was a very convenient way to access the apartment independently. I recommend it.

13/03/2026: We waited about 20 minutes on the terrace without our order being taken. The waitress probably forgot about us, which can happen. So I went to the bar to ask if we could order directly, but unfortunately, the reception wasn't very friendly. We left without ordering anything.

11/03/2026: We come to Les Angles on holiday and we come 3 to 4 times a week. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling; every time we come, it's a real pleasure from aperitif to dessert.

25/04/2026: I have only good things to say; a friendly gentleman behind the counter who accepted and understood my French-English with a wink. A white wine with ice for €2.50 was perfectly reasonable. He even came back to my table to ask if everything was alright. I'm extremely satisfied.

03/04/2026: The reception was unfriendly. The waitress was very rude. The food (two salads, one with ham, the second without) cost 40 euros. Really mediocre, but above all very unfriendly due to the waitress.

28/03/2026: Unacceptable experience at Le Select restaurant. First visit at 2:30 pm: a woman at the entrance, cigarette in hand, introduced herself as “the owner” and curtly turned us away, saying the kitchen was closed. We returned the next day at 1 pm. This time, a man (the actual owner) greeted us properly and confirmed we could have lunch. We sat down… and that's when the absurdity began: after nearly an hour's wait, the same woman arrived and started arguing violently with the owner in front of the other customers. Then she came to us, cold and aggressive, to insist that we would only have salads, no fries, because, according to her, the kitchen was closed. No coherent explanation, no sense of service. Result: €40 for two plates of green salad (one of which contained a little pork), with no welcome, no service, and no respect. This person's behavior is simply outrageous: unpleasant, bossy, and completely unsuitable for the restaurant industry. She seems to decide everything that happens in the restaurant on her own, with complete disregard for the customer… and even the owner. It's especially unfortunate for the owner, who seems decent but clearly lets this person call the shots. Avoid this place while this situation continues.
