24/05/2026: The hostel falls far short of its promises. The so-called spa is no real spa; the pool water is too cold to swim in. There are no bathrobes that fit, and those provided are dirty and stained. A constant odor of urine, mustiness, and wet dog pervades the hotel. Dogs roam freely, going in and out of the kitchen, while stuffed animals occupy every corner of the hotel. There is dog hair on the tables. The owners are unfriendly and unwilling to welcome their guests. The "gastronomic" meal is not a gourmet experience, and there is no option to choose a course. I would not recommend it, even for a single night.

07/05/2026: Beautiful place, great views, and above all, excellent service. The bar is more than good, and the food is delicious. We didn't stay overnight, but judging by the bar, terrace, and restaurant, it must be top-notch.

22/08/2026: The fish had two hairs in it. I told the waiter and he took it back without apologizing. Even when they brought another one, he didn’t say sorry. The tartare sauce looked and tasted really old. The patron/owner was rude, but nice to large tables. The coffee took 15 min to come. Honestly, just find somewhere else.

13/05/2026: Nice spot for an afternoon drink... too bad about the atmosphere inside the toilet complex... it's just a toilet seat without a lid or seat... Guys... we're in the 21st century!!!

10/05/2026: Much less positive reviews, but we had a nice experience in early May. A lovely place to sit and enjoy the beautiful decor. We had tasty toasted bread with olive oil, anchovies, and paprika. Lovely in the spring sunshine. The toilet smells and is not very clean.

13/08/2026: A truly disastrous experience! I planned my wife's birthday for August 12th with an oriental-themed buffet dinner! The 9 pm service arrived... everything was empty! The main courses and desserts were gone! We were given a few crumbs for the appetizers, which were graciously offered to us... because we had ordered a bottle of champagne! The restaurant manager clearly didn't go to hospitality school to send his assistant to bring us the bill! He hid behind the bar! It was 10 pm and we had to leave the establishment without any real apology! We ran into the hotel's founder who apologized and politely asked us to leave it at that! He told us they would call us... it's a way of getting rid of customers! Simply shameful!

13/08/2026: A disastrous experience! On August 12th, my 60th birthday, we had booked an evening with four friends. An oriental-themed evening with a buffet! Seating was scheduled for 9 pm. We had called ahead to ask if the 9 pm seating would be the same as the 7 pm seating, with music, etc. We arrived at 9 pm! We ordered drinks and a bottle of champagne. We started the appetizers at 9:30 pm, and quite a few were already missing… The worst was yet to come… when the main courses arrived… there was only broth, a few pieces of fish, and 12 pasta dishes left! Furious, my husband asked to see the restaurant manager, Mr. Alexandre, who mockingly replied, "There's still some fish left!" My husband asked for the bill so we could leave this establishment! This manager sent his assistant, who was very embarrassed, to bring us the bill… he didn't even bother to bring it to us himself, or rather, to offer us the champagne! He just said, “I'll treat you to the appetizers!” The appetizers amounted to three spoonfuls of tabbouleh each!!!! What a lack of professionalism! Things got heated between us… And the hotel's founder politely asked us to lower our voices, saying he was sorry and that this kind of thing had never happened before! No consideration whatsoever, except to leave our contact information and call us back! We never received a call! Just a bill for 150 euros for losing my temper and ruining my birthday! It's shameful! This restaurant manager should find another line of work!

09/09/2026: The appetizer and dessert buffet is extremely limited (see photos). Most drinks are on tap; bottled or canned beverages are very rare, except for water and wine. The "unlimited vegetables" selection is very limited, and refills are infrequent, as the dishes are often three-quarters empty, if not completely empty. Otherwise, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Take a page from the Flunch in Clermont-Ferrand's book, and your brand image will improve, because right now, Flunch isn't exactly thriving.

06/09/2026: The worst restaurant ever: they charge me for everything! They add ice cream to the kids' menu and charge for it; plus, they charged me for things I didn't order, not to mention the appalling service. 🫠🫠

11/09/2026: We had a fantastic evening with my parents! The food was delicious, the setting beautiful, and the whole team was so friendly. A huge thank you to Adeline, our waitress, who was lovely, always smiling, funny, and incredibly professional! She really made our evening even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and we'll definitely be back!

17/09/2026: Pleasantly surprised, friendly waiters, good atmosphere, excellent value for money and good food, a set menu of starter, main course and dessert for €21. The cheapest restaurant, because be warned, restaurants in the village are not cheap.

13/09/2026: The place was packed, the tables were very cramped, and it was quite noisy because it was so full. The food was just okay, although well prepared. The best thing was the service from the waitstaff, who were very friendly and helpful.

05/09/2026: The tables outside were very dirty, with food scraps and trash lying around everywhere. We usually like shopping at these bakeries, but unfortunately, we didn't like the outdoor seating at this branch.

29/08/2026: Remember to check your products. When I arrived at this bakery, I didn't see any white baguettes in the window, so I asked the saleswoman if she had any white ones. She said yes, so I asked for four, which she took from a rack behind her and wrapped. Once I got inside, I realized they weren't white baguettes, but golden ones. Why not just say she didn't have any, instead of selling a different product? Surely she knows the difference? Anyway, this isn't my first bad experience at this Marie Blachère, but it will be the last. With the price of products these days, we have the right to expect better. Four baguettes to throw away, because it's going to be difficult to "unbake" them... thanks, Marie.

28/08/2026: One of the many tourist traps. If you can't help it, go there, but there's no other good reason.

26/08/2026: I could have given it zero stars, I really would have, because I've never had a worse cocktail than there, and I mean that sincerely. Paying that much for a cocktail and getting the worst mojito imaginable... this place is truly one to avoid.

10/04/2026: A really nice bar in a cute little alley, great for stopping for a drink. That said, my cocktail (which was absolutely delicious, credit where credit is due) could have been even smaller, perhaps served in a shot glass or even a sewing machine, because for 13 euros, the pleasure shouldn't last too long… Anyway, go for the pints!

22/08/2025: Our order was satisfactory, but the cook had served some people he knew who had already arrived! (Nepotism?). As a result, our order took longer to arrive... Otherwise, the food was good. So we'll forgive this minor inconvenience. 😉

29/06/2025: A place I recommend. The very attentive waiter heard us toasting a birthday, and at dessert time there was a candle on the cake and a small band played "Happy Birthday."
