19/02/2026: Superb restaurant, delicious and high-quality food, very friendly staff, we had a very pleasant time with our family. We came three years ago and loved it then, and we're still not disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/10/2025: Visited as a family during the All Saints' Day holiday. The setting and atmosphere weren't great, but the waiter was quite efficient. The main drawback was the food, which wasn't to our taste... the fish soup was too salty, served with stale bread instead of croutons, and the rouille was bland. The red mullet fillet was unseasoned and served with lukewarm mashed potatoes, all swimming in oil... On the other hand, the children's menu was a hit. Very mixed feelings.

06/03/2026: The food was truly excellent, no complaints there: the cuisine was flavorful and well-prepared. However, I was a little less impressed by the service. The waiter was quite direct and sometimes a bit too familiar, with a few digs that, while not malicious, didn't seem appropriate for the atmosphere of the place. I also think that certain small touches in the service make a difference, for example, serving the women's drinks first, or simply maintaining a certain discretion and elegance in the interaction. These are details, but they contribute to the overall experience. It's a shame, because the quality of the food really deserves to be highlighted.

03/03/2026: Quick and pleasant welcome. Attentive waitstaff. The menu was interesting, but ultimately the starter (scallops) had a rather bland sauce, followed by a disappointing risotto with spirulina—compact and lacking in flavor. The whole thing was saved by an excellent crayfish sauce. The à la carte menu (over €30) offered scallops with a dense risotto. My wife didn't finish it, as she didn't enjoy eating it. Sorry, but we were disappointed.

18/03/2026: Overall, a very pleasant stay. The value for money is excellent, with well-designed and affordable packages. The owner, originally from Brittany with Parisian experience, brings a certain professionalism to the establishment. The facilities are also commendable, particularly the free private parking (a rarity by the sea) and the covered outdoor pool, heated in winter. A reliable establishment that I recommend.

29/11/2025: We went there several times about 35 years ago!!! We were young 🙃 We found this restaurant by chance while on holiday in Argelès. I see the menu hasn't changed at all, incredible!!! The owner who served us back then 😉 always said, "And here are the trout from the Gorges de la Fou!" 😊 It was delicious 😋😋 and very welcoming. My husband and I are so happy that this unassuming little restaurant is still going strong in the charming little village of Corsavy... Nostalgia, nostalgia 🥲

17/03/2026: Sitting down you are presented with a platter of beautiful fish you can choose off the menu. We picked a a nice sea bass and were very happy with the expert way it was handled in the kitchen...perfectly grilled , presented at table and then deboned for service... excellent salt boiled jacket potatoes and some really tasty zucchini were served along side.. The local white was dry and had a interesting saline quality the grapes had obviously picked up from the sea air where they grew..perfect with the fish...The fish soup started was also comforting on a cool. day, served its toast, cheese. and aioli. For desert , we split a bowl of their famous chocolate mousse and could barely finish it... rich and super yummy. All in all a happy ,satisfying meal served by a friendly , obliging staff who took good care of us and our dog Nika!

21/02/2026: An exceptional place. The place to go if you're looking for cheese in Perpignan. Small, but with a great variety of products. The owners spent a good 15 minutes explaining different types of cheese to help us make a selection. A 10 out of 10!

The chef goes above and beyond for his customers, offering originality and professionalism, not to mention his friendly visits to each table. The welcome and smiles are top-notch. We always make sure to stop by Al Casita de la Farga whenever we're in Amélie.
