23/02/2026: We went to the restaurant this past weekend with our children. We had been there before and again thoroughly enjoyed the food: well-prepared dishes, excellent desserts, and a beautiful setting. In that respect, we had no complaints. However, this time the experience was unpleasant due to the service and management. We made a reservation for four people. We ordered a set menu to share among the children and two separate menus for the adults. From the beginning, we had difficulty communicating with the person who took our order; they were very unhelpful and quite unfriendly. We understand that there might be a language barrier, but attitude makes all the difference, and in this case, it was nonexistent. We requested that the croquettes and the meat from the set menu be brought out together, as it was for young children. We weren't asking for our order to be prioritized over other tables, just for our dishes to be arranged efficiently. The response was curt, with staff insisting that there were other diners, which we completely understand but which was unrelated to our request. Finally, they brought it out almost immediately, which we appreciated. The real problem came with the bill. We were charged for three set menus, plus the croquettes and wine separately. When we complained, it created a very uncomfortable situation, with arguments and unnecessary tension, even with someone from the kitchen coming out to intervene. It wasn't about the 9 euros; it was about consistency and respect. If we ordered a set menu and two set menus, and at no point were we told that the menu couldn't be shared, it's not right to charge us for something different. The owner was friendly and smiling, and the food was indeed good. But there was a lack of empathy, attentiveness, and flexibility in customer service. The experience can't depend solely on what comes out of the kitchen; the service is also part of the restaurant. It's a shame, because the place and the food deserve better customer service.

17/02/2026: We came on Valentine's Day evening. Two set menus were offered: Starter and main course or main course and dessert €23.50 Starter, main course, and dessert €28.50 The charcuterie board was excellent. The porcini mushroom ravioli au gratin with goat cheese was superb. The roasted Camembert was very generous with charcuterie, potatoes, salad, and toast (the only drawback was that the ham was flavored with truffles... for those who don't like truffles...). The profiteroles for dessert were very good but would have been better with homemade whipped cream rather than canned. The service was quick and efficient. However, it was very cold in the restaurant. The view over the valley is breathtaking. We will return, and next time for lunch to enjoy the view even more.

14/03/2026: We had a delicious (and generous) afternoon snack, I highly recommend it! The waffle was very good, and the staff were pleasant and quick despite the crowds.

14/03/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend. Very friendly atmosphere and welcome, extensive menu. The pizzas 🍕 are excellent, especially the crust. The children's menu is fantastic, with lovely touches for dessert. Thank you to the waiter for his friendliness. We'll be back. The Gavroy Family.

The plates were beautifully presented, and the service was also exceptional; a very welcoming and attentive lady who was always ready to meet our needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be back! A huge congratulations to Chef Julien Blaya and his team! 👏👏👏

01/12/2024: This ordinary-looking restaurant is a place where gourmets can taste products of an unusual composition by mixing ingredients and aromas that make the dishes succulent. The service is very good, the atmosphere is just right and the menus are exquisite. For a very modest price you have a menu worthy of a great restaurant. Thank you to the whole team who works to serve and delight us.

We see that the owners are passionate and the cuisine is excellent (and that is an understatement), the service and wine advice are those of a passionate person, not to mention the place which has incredible charm. 16/11/2025: By chance, I was invited to and discovered "L'Estudiantine." I was expecting a small restaurant just for students, which it may well be, as its delicious cuisine welcomes everyone with love. However, there was also a charming clientele (of all ages), and I was happily among them. The chef's excellent cooking allowed us to enjoy some wonderful dishes, and we were a small group of people who savored the delicious food, including my friends and myself. The warm welcome from the owners was much appreciated. I wish them much success, as they have taken over this friendly, "homemade" restaurant, and as the saying goes, "Good house, we'll be back." 16/01/2026: Stopping in for lunch with friends, we discovered this little restaurant, a warm welcome, and exquisite cuisine. You can really taste the chef's passion, which delighted our palates. We opted for the set menu. For starters, a crème catalane with foie gras—absolutely divine! The main course was a generous ribeye steak with a perfectly balanced honey sauce—simply perfect! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

11/01/2026: Beware of groups with children!!! The manager refused to serve us, claiming he was out of crepes... The real reason was that we had several children... A couple came in right after us to ask for crepes, and the manager welcomed them. He could have simply told us there were too many of us, and we would have accepted it.

14/02/2026: Delicious mixed fish platter; this is our third visit to this restaurant and we've never been disappointed. A minor drawback this evening (Valentine's Day): the service was very slow, more than 40 minutes after ordering to receive our food. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.

17/03/2026: This is the second time we've eaten lunch here with my daughter. The shared platter was fantastic 👍, and the dishes and desserts were all excellent. A very warm welcome 😉. We'll definitely be back! 😊👍
