One small drawback: if you only order one dish à la carte, the portion size is similar to the set menu (the portion size should be increased for à la carte orders). 17/07/2026: 2nd visit. we visited the place was also not a success. (1st visit was mostly closed) The plan was 2nd visit to eat a little bit of everything from different stalls - but started and ended at Pupier House where we got 6 pieces. shrimp for 20€ with 2 small glasses of white wine for 20€. The price was as it was. But the service was bad and rude, that we chose the place from. The toilets looked unhygienic.

16/07/2026: Based on reviews and the name, I had a rather grand impression of the market halls, imagining them to be a rather ordinary place with stalls offering virtually the same thing, the only exception being the Italian, Spanish, and Armenian stalls, if I remember correctly. And I bought a rosette sausage, but I was very disappointed with the quality.

27/07/2026: We went there with friends for drinks on the terrace. The service was excellent, the selection was varied, and the prices were similar to the competition. We had a great end to the day.

The dining room was a little noisy due to limited soundproofing, but the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Very good value for money; we'll definitely be back.

06/02/2026: We were looking for a place to enjoy a good wine and some appetizers before dinner. Nice selection of wines by the glass! We then had a mix of cheeses, delicious. The owner is kind and welcoming! I'm not sure I'd go there again, but if you happen to be passing through, it's the perfect place!

31/07/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars for the quality of the food and the location. There were four of us on the terrace. The setting is superb, but a table for two was right next to ours, leaving little privacy for the couple dining there. It would be nice to leave a bit more space between the tables. As for the food, the frogs' legs were delicious (we would have liked slightly more generous portions), the sea bream was cooked perfectly, and the pizza was good. However, my partner had ordered the pizza + dessert set menu for €28, while the à la carte menu is €31. But when it arrived, we received a tiny pizza the size of a dessert plate! A complete disappointment. To our surprise, the waitress replied that it was clearly stated that the pizza on the set menu was 28cm. That was true; we hadn't noticed. However, she could have pointed it out to us when we ordered, rather than mentioning it in a tone that implied "you need to be able to read." Needless to say, we won't be going back, as we really feel like we've been ripped off.

27/06/2026: An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend! The food is absolutely delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and great skill. Every dish is a true delight. The staff is particularly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is convivial, and you immediately feel at ease. A big thank you to the entire Chatanay team! We will definitely be back.

19/05/2026: An absolutely beautiful dining experience from start to finish. The three-course meal was exceptional — the flavours were complex, layered, and utterly transporting. Each course felt like a story unfolding on the plate. The ambience was wonderful, and a particular highlight was our waiter, who was impeccably turned out and brought a real sense of polish to the evening. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made the whole experience feel genuinely special. Can't wait to return.

26/04/2026: The Auberge de la Côte is a sure bet! We celebrated our civil wedding at this authentic inn. A true little corner of paradise. Gaelle and Xavier made our event a perfect day thanks to their kindness, thoughtfulness, and above all, their delight for the taste buds of our guests and ourselves. The food is excellent! A must-do, we were completely won over.
