16/05/2026: ✨ A timeless moment at La Caborne! It's hard to tire of such a setting... 😍 Today again, we enjoyed the restaurant's exceptional location and its absolutely magnificent view. It's the kind of panorama that makes every bite even better! As with every visit, everything was perfect: The welcome: Always so wonderful and warm. The food: The dishes are consistently delicious and generous. 🍽️ How lucky I am to have discovered this gem of a place, which I always return to with such pleasure. 🙏 A huge thank you to Lucas and a massive congratulations to the entire team for your hard work and passion! 14/05/2026: We ate at the restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was very good. It was a little pricey. A very pleasant place.

16/07/2026: We had reserved a table for 7:30 pm and arrived on time. The welcome was warm, and the beginning of the meal went well. The aperitifs were served promptly. There was a small mistake with the starters, but it was corrected immediately. The main course, however, was truly excellent. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal completely ruined this good impression. After the main course, we waited a full hour without any explanation. During this wait, the waitress returned to the dining room several times, but our table was never cleared. It would have been more logical to optimize her movements and not leave empty-handed when passing by crowded tables. After an hour's wait, we decided to leave without having been able to enjoy the desserts, which were included in our two set menus. When it came time to pay the bill, we were charged for the entire menu, including desserts. As a gesture of goodwill, we were simply given a voucher on a slip of paper for two desserts on a future visit. I would have found it much more customer-friendly to have the price of the desserts deducted directly from the bill, since we never ate them. The only explanation we were given was: "It's complicated because you all arrived at the same time." Unfortunately, this is not a valid excuse: when you have several customers at once, you need to be able to organize yourselves or, failing that, keep customers informed about the wait. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food is excellent. With better service organization and more efficient management, the experience could have been very pleasant.

04/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The salmon ravioli gratin was absolutely delicious, creamy, generous, and perfectly seasoned. The salmon was of very high quality. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. A wonderful discovery; I will gladly return. I highly recommend it!

17/07/2026: A delicious tasting menu for under €50! Excellent service! Exceptional ingredients and recipes. A winning combination of flavors in an idyllic setting. I highly recommend it for a romantic evening or a team-building event. I hope to have the opportunity to return!

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...

18/07/2026: We used to come to this restaurant and had fond memories of it. But since the change of ownership, it's not the same at all. I ordered frog legs, which were served without a warming tray. So they got cold as the meal progressed. When the waiter offered to reheat them, I declined; it was too late. Several of my friends ordered fish, but it had an unpleasant odor, which made us seriously doubt its freshness. We mentioned it several times, but the management didn't respond. Throughout the entire evening, the owner never approached us, neither to apologize nor to acknowledge any problem. The atmosphere was truly unpleasant, with numerous flies and a general din. The desserts didn't improve things either. The chocolate fondant in the gourmet coffee seemed stale and tasteless. It's all the more disappointing because we used to really love this place. We sincerely hope that the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere will soon return to the level that made this restaurant so renowned.

17/07/2026: A truly beautiful place. A wonderful discovery with our best friends 🥰. We enjoyed an evening sharing and savoring delicious dishes. The cooking was perfect, and the presentation was impeccable (we wouldn't have minded a little more portion size, and perhaps avoiding mopping up the delicious sauce with bread). We felt completely transported to this secluded spot. The fifth star for the overall rating would have been awarded if: - the portions had been a bit more generous - the rosé wine we chose was served not chilled. - the prices were a little high.

30/07/2026: A terrible experience! There was only one signature dish left at the beginning of the week… it was for me, but the lobster arrived with a strong smell of ammonia, inedible!! My plate was taken away without an apology! The waiters continued their frantic, rushed service with no real attention! Unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant! They offered me two glasses of white wine I had as an aperitif! A very poor choice for our 20th wedding anniversary!

29/07/2026: What can I say... an excellent meal and a first-class welcome. All the reinterpretations were perfect... I even ate black pudding! And the view over Lyon is breathtaking. I'll definitely be back.

30/06/2026: I'll be direct: I love this restaurant, I've been a few times now... a small, authentic place, just the way we like them. Delicious, home-style cooking.

22/05/2026: Passing through Dardilly on Wednesday evening, I stopped at this little inn. And I was truly pleasantly surprised! The food was exceptional, the staff very friendly and welcoming, and the dishes were absolutely delicious, especially the frog legs. I highly recommend it; it's well worth the detour! Thank you, I'll gladly return as soon as possible!

09/07/2026: The food isn't good. I first went to Paris three years ago, and I wanted to give the one in Lyon a chance, but they didn't live up to that expectation.

08/07/2026: Steak salad for almost €19… there was practically nothing in it, the little bit of meat was tough… avoid it! It's shameful to offer salads at this price!

04/07/2026: Absolutely brilliant, a true taste of Lyon, lovely atmosphere, felt like a large family lunch sharing a table and passing dishes round got to talk to new people. A truly unforgettable experience. . The food was outstanding and the staff were so friendly and welcoming everyone was treated like family. Not to be missed. Cannot recommend it enough.

25/06/2026: A small, authentic bistro, offering an all-you-can-eat appetizer salad with beets, snout, herring, potatoes, charcuterie, etc. French dishes include tripe, calf's head, quenelles, butcher's cuts, etc., and to finish, a selection of desserts: crème caramel, apple compote, prunes in red wine. It's definitely a restaurant worth trying.

26/07/2026: Went for brunch and the food was genuinely great – would come back for that alone. Coffee was fine, nothing special, just a solid cup. Unfortunately the service brought the experience down: our waitress was curt and seemed annoyed by basic requests... Nothing dramatic, just an unwelcoming vibe that took the shine off an otherwise good meal. Food quality is there; hoping it was an off day for the staff.

20/12/2025: You absolutely must stop by. The view is magnificent, the owners incredibly friendly and full of humor. (I don't know about the food.) A cherished spot for so many years. In summer it's lovely, with a beautifully flowered terrace. In winter, amidst this array of somber hues, you'll find the sunniest camellias in the country.
