30/04/2026: Appalling! The "cook" is extremely unpleasant, avoid at all costs! He makes very rude remarks. He's put me off; I'll never eat there again. Especially since 10 euros for a measly ham and cheese sandwich on white bread is a bit much. Not to mention they don't bring you a napkin or water... I really wonder how people like that ever ended up in the restaurant business. He's a disgrace to the profession.

27/05/2026: Avoid this place at all costs, despite a friendly waitress who seemed overwhelmed. Our meal was awful, tasteless, with only half the ingredients, and the price wasn't adjusted accordingly. The Caesar salad, the only dish left on the menu, was nothing more than a tiny mess of leftovers. So, for Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy, what kind of image are we leaving? Terrible.

05/03/2026: An interesting experience at a traditional Lyonnais bistro that didn't serve what is precisely the hallmark of such a dish: a simple Lyonnaise salad. I regret that the waitstaff didn't even have the presence of mind, or the desire to please a customer, to ask the kitchen if it was possible. Perhaps it would have been too much of a challenge to gather these simple ingredients (each of which is on the menu) to try and adhere to what defines our culinary traditions and, let's face it, our pride. As a native of Lyon, I had to settle for half a Saint-Marcellin cheese, which was very good nonetheless. In short, aiming to be a high-end bistro is all well and good; remembering your roots is even better. If we need reminding, Le Petit Paumé (another Lyonnais institution) provides a fine definition of what we have the right to expect from a traditional Lyonnais bistro.

01/03/2026: A very warm welcome, an open kitchen with delicious cooking aromas, and the food was excellent.

27/04/2026: We bought a strawberry tart and he asked for eight euros, but he made a mistake and asked for 15 euros. He didn't offer any kind of discount, for example, on the coffee. I won't be going back.
