24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district! A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda. A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25. Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: The room was really nice for the price. However, the hotel's somewhat isolated location, right next to the hospital, was noticeable. As for the staff, we were warmly welcomed at breakfast by a charming lady who was incredibly sweet. On the other hand, the receptionist was a different story. One day he was pleasant and courteous, the next he was pretentious to the point of being disrespectful. A better attitude is certainly more pleasant at a hotel reception.

03/06/2026: A short but excellent stay at the Hôtel Restaurant Tante Yvonne! The hotel has a lot of charm, in a calm and pleasant setting. The welcome was particularly warm and professional, with attentive staff throughout our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and perfectly equipped. A real plus during our stay was the air conditioning in the room, which was especially welcome during the intense heat we experienced in May. It was a real bonus that allowed us to have a good night's sleep in a cool environment. Special mention for the restaurant: refined and generous cuisine with excellent service. The breakfast was complete and varied—a real treat! A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend and where we will gladly return!

29/06/2025: We had an unforgettable evening for my 50th birthday. We were in the separate section, which made for a very private dinner. The food was excellent; the pigeon and desserts were perfectly cooked. We received all the attention we could have wished for, nothing more, nothing less. A big thank you to Chef Mariller and his entire team.

22/06/2026: I went for lunch last week with colleagues. The waitress must have asked us ten times if everything was alright, but it was only when it came time to pay that I realized we hadn't been told at any point that desserts weren't included in the €20 menu. The explanation from the start was very unclear. Be careful not to confuse the menu on the table, the menu displayed on the menu board, and the waitress's explanation. However, the food is very good. The place is very nice, but there's too much information on the menus, which makes the surprise at the end rather unpleasant.

24/06/2026: I ordered two kebab bowls from Uber Eats. They arrived cold. I ordered one with white sauce and the other with a Biggy Burger. I received two white sauces that I had to pour myself into the "bowl" (it was more like a tray of fries and a tray of meat). The meat and fries were barely acceptable. The portion was also very small.

11/05/2026: A brasserie that doesn't look like much; the menu initially worried me a bit because there were quite a few choices, and I'm always afraid the quality won't be there, but I was wrong—it was really, really good. The service was pleasant, friendly, and very quick. I highly recommend it!

23/06/2026: We were desperated, we will not find a working restaurant with traditional lyonesse food at 22:45. We were lucky to find this place, as they accepted us and advised us forr the dishes. Everything was very delisious. The service, was parfect as well. Strongly recommend this place if you want a good service and delisious, traditional, lyonesse food.

02/06/2026: Nice place to have a typical french meal. The space is big, modern and luminous and located in a very central location. The menu is short but includes some of the most traditional dishes at a very good quality-price ratio. We tried the beef tartar and the duck - both very good. The waiters are all super nice and attentive and always have a smile on their face.
