09/03/2026: A pleasant little stop in sunny Beaujolais! Delicious traditional cuisine and a warm welcome. Nothing to complain about.

05/03/2026: I had a wonderful lunch today at this lovely restaurant located right in the city center next to the church. The setting is very pleasant, the service friendly and quick, and I thoroughly enjoyed a very generous daily special with a delicious crème brûlée, all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

30/01/2026: A string of mediocrities. Table in a draft. Disorganized service. Amuse-bouche served before the ordered bottle of champagne. Presentation of the wrong bottle of wine, already opened! Presentation of the digestif trolley during the cheese course. Hot dish served cold. Manager nowhere to be seen. When it came time to pay the bill of over €1000, not a word of apology or a gesture of goodwill. In short, unworthy of their reputation. The service is more professional in some of the smaller restaurants in the area. Avoid at all costs!

06/01/2026: The food was excellent, the staff young and friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. However, what bothered me somewhat was the smell of the glasses; the dishwasher smell was quite noticeable, especially when drinking a glass of water – that's unnecessary.

20/02/2026: Great food and friendly staff; we were able to eat there on a weekday even though we arrived at 2:00 PM! Thank you to the manager and the cook!

21/10/2025: A great time for a more than fair price: 50 euros for 2 people, including an aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert, for a home-style meal with butter and cream! The owners are very welcoming! Don't change a thing!

30/01/2026: I came for lunch yesterday; the welcome was lovely and the food delicious. However, what I found embarrassing was that the chef was constantly being reprimanded, and I could hear everything. But I will never forget the exceptional quality of the beef. I also regularly have my coffee there; I really enjoy it.

02/04/2026: September. Service was a bit slow. Four pieces of plastic packaging in the meat!!! The meat wasn't changed, just "re-set" (reheated and served again). When the dish returned, the mashed potatoes were "very oily," they had been reheated in oil with the meat... Disgusting dish... I left it. Desserts were served without spoons; the young waitress came back with the spoons... and threw them on the table. Bread baskets collected from the tables were returned to the general bread basket to be refilled. It was for my birthday, but the meal was ruined. What a shame!

31/12/2025: What is this inedible chocolate ice cream?? I took a teaspoon of ice cream and immediately spat it out! How can you make ice cream that bad? Even the worst store-bought ice cream at 15 cents for a 35-pack is better

31/12/2025: 6 euros for a "hot chocolate" that turned out to be cocoa powder diluted in milk, served in cardboard cups. And it was so diluted it was more white than brown. This is extremely disappointing for an ice cream parlor, especially considering the price.

01/04/2026: I went there while the hotel was being renovated, and honestly, it would be a real shame to miss out if you're in the area. I had the set menu (main course, dessert, coffee), less than 20 euros for a generous portion served without rice or pasta. I eat at many hotel restaurants like this one, and I found it to be a cut above the rest, much better quality. The dessert was fresh and also very generous (pineapple carpaccio). The atmosphere was a bit cold in a sparsely decorated dining room, but the hotel is undergoing renovations, so please bear with me. The service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. The menu is very short, as the restaurant focuses on daily specials. I can only hope it's just as good every time. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot.

31/01/2026: A restaurant we love to visit for lunch, not only for a break from work but especially for the warm welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, their daily specials—always delicious, (very) generous portions, made with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients—all at an excellent price (daily special, dessert, and coffee for €15.90). Located within the hotel, the restaurant is lovely, bathed in natural light from the veranda. A special mention goes to the team: Manon (with her smile and sense of humor), Anaïs (friendly and discreet), and the Head Chef, whose mastery of cooking both meat and fish we serve deserves a special mention, as does the generous portion size. This place has become our go-to spot, and we're not exactly picky eaters (Manon can attest to that) ;))

24/02/2026: Small village restaurant. Very warm welcome, simple but tasty cuisine. A well-prepared venison dish and a generous cheese platter with plenty of choice. We came as a family of eight and left very satisfied.

08/02/2026: Very good frogs' legs, €32 for the set menu (starter, main course, cheese, and dessert). Very generous portions. The service was very slow, so don't be in a hurry. Beautiful mountains in the countryside.

11/03/2026: Hello. Nice and pretty village restaurant. We got takeaway pizzas, but being good Italians... we found them just average: the crust was much too thin. We also tried the pizzas from the vending machine and they were better. What a shame. This is a positive review, hoping to return and that it will be a bit better 😉. No hard feelings and have a good day.
