01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. My ratings: * Reception: 8/10 * Food: 8/10 * Value for money: 8/10 * Cleanliness: 7/10 * Atmosphere and comfort: 7/10 In short, this is a place worth discovering for the quality of its cuisine and its authentic flavors. I highly recommend this establishment for the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the excellent value for money.

01/07/2026: We were greeted by Raphaël at lunchtime today. The service was quick, and the portions were very generous. We ordered a children's meal (breaded chicken and fries), a burger, and a duck breast. A great experience, and he even gave us water for our dog. The restrooms were very clean. 16/05/2026: The welcome was extremely cold. The Norwegian crepe was full of Emmental cheese and had no smoked salmon (for someone with a cheese allergy)! Not a word of apology, nor any offer to replace the crepe. We now understand why there were so many seats left in the restaurant. We won't be going back. Avoid this place.

I pointed out the closing time clearly displayed on the storefront and their website, only to receive the firm response, "Well, we're closed now." This behavior clashes with the friendly atmosphere they described. They call it a neighborhood restaurant, but I'll leave it to the neighborhood. The death of the "small shop," where only fast food will survive. What a shame.
