03/12/2024: I enjoy the Friday evenings with bachata lessons and the always welcoming and warm atmosphere. The cocktails are delicious and generous.

29/11/2024: The bouncers are still just as racist (yes I have to say the terms) I decided to go there anyway knowing that colleagues and dance partners were waiting for me but was rejected at the entrance for an evening with the dance group wasted, reminds me why I don't come out here anymore. Too bad for you!

06/02/2026: Opposite the entrance to Lyon's Part-Dieu train station, this brasserie stands out amidst the fast-food restaurants. Nevertheless, I was served very quickly with the daily special I chose (there are two options). Fish with mashed potatoes was delicious. I didn't have time for dessert as I was only there for 30 minutes. The welcome was very friendly and professional. The dish was perfect. I paid €13.90. At that price, why go to a fast-food restaurant? I enjoyed a balanced and well-prepared meal in a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely go back.

19/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! The name of the place says it all: it's like the backstage of chaos there 😂. There are aggressive people who respect nothing, but apparently they're the "favorite customers," the "regulars" 🤔... anyway, it's a VIP atmosphere, like a Village Improbable Party. The bouncer is playing cowboy at the entrance... except he doesn't scare anyone, poor guy 🤠. The place is like a high school prom, but less organized. The DJ is useless; at one point, there's a technical problem, no sound for over 5 minutes... we were all in muted ASMR disco mode 🤣

07/09/2025: A security guard who thinks he's a thug Getting turned away two weekends in a row because you're not used to it, even though you've been back here plenty of times before. Shuts the door in your face so you don't have to argue, even though he has no reason to refuse us entry. Question yourself.

23/03/2026: No complaints about the staff, who were very kind and competent. However, the mattresses were too firm, there was no hot water, and it was impossible to charge mobile phones because the power outlets weren't compatible with chargers. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and safe.

23/03/2026: We spent a night there with friends; upon arrival, the receptionist seemed completely out of it...not unfriendly, but rather nonchalant, not very smiley, not well-presented, a bit unkempt, and didn't seem particularly motivated. She assigned us a room (we had booked in advance) on the first floor, but the sink drain was stuck and the water wouldn't drain. We went back down to reception; the receptionist asked us if this was a problem. I wondered, and she finally gave us a room on the second floor, telling us there would certainly be a problem because there was a problem in all the rooms! I wondered if she was joking. She also asked us how many pastries and bread we would be taking the next day. When we got to the room, the toilet seat was broken and the bed frame was dirty and stained. What can I say about the neighborhood and surrounding area...it's true it's close to the Arena Stadium, but more importantly, it's a real drug dealing hotspot right next to the hotel. Not very reassuring when you're two women! Often, the warm welcome and smiles of the staff can make us forget the outdated rooms and minor inconveniences, but that wasn't the case here. Avoid this hotel!

11/03/2026: We hadn't even had time to eat before the people in charge of customer service behaved terribly towards us. They hung up on us and didn't handle reservations with any courtesy. Furthermore, we were told we had to pay an extra €20 to enter the establishment (since it's a nightclub).

07/03/2026: After trying several shisha lounges, this one is the worst. The manager and waitresses completely disregard women, giving them disdainful looks. I had to go to the bar multiple times. No smiles whatsoever. The service was incredibly slow, with a wait of over an hour. The clientele was pleasant, but upon leaving, several annoying people made unpleasant remarks. Avoid this place if you want to have a good time... good luck.

18/03/2026: The room was adequate, but avoid the restaurant as there's very little choice on the menu. Very few dishes are available, or even missing some, forcing you to choose from what's left. This really needs improvement, especially for a restaurant that claims to be one. However, the rooms themselves have very comfortable mattresses.

15/03/2026: We were just passing through for one night and the hotel was located in a commercial area, so we weren't expecting a luxury hotel. The TV had a few channels that didn't work, which was a shame.

04/03/2026: Hello, I have a question for the Subway manager. Today at this restaurant, they tried to charge me extra for a pinch of carrots, which seems excessive. I often eat at the Subway in Saint-Aunès, near Montpellier, and I've never experienced this before. I think the people who manage this branch are doing you a disservice, and I wanted to let you know. Thank you in advance.

31/01/2026: Appalling service. The waitress was haughty and had absolutely no sense of customer service. I was asked to fetch a high chair for a child myself and then clear the table, even though we were the only customers. Unacceptable.

01/07/2025: Jolivet Bakery offers a good selection of breads and pastries, using fresh ingredients and excellent craftsmanship. The bread is nice and crisp, and the pastries are decent, although some could be lighter or more original. The service is friendly, but sometimes a little slow when it's busy. The location is pleasant, but could be a little warmer to make the experience more welcoming. Overall, a reliable bakery where you can find quality classics, even if you're not yet a firm favorite. Perfect for a quick stop or an everyday purchase.
