21/04/2026: Absolutely flawless! Everything was perfect! The welcome: the waitress's attentiveness, discretion, and punctuality. The dishes: Delicious and generous portions. While traditional Lyonnais restaurants aren't exactly haute cuisine, here they are prepared with care, and the quality of the ingredients is evident (the bacon in the Lyonnaise salad was incredible: perfectly cooked yet incredibly tender. The steak: exceptionally tender, etc.). The atmosphere: a traditional and unpretentious interior, but you feel right at home. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a place away from tourist traps, offering excellent, hearty, traditional Lyonnaise cuisine!

01/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! Today was my third time dining at this restaurant, so I took the time and pleasure to review it. The French-Japanese fusion is perfectly executed! The flavors complement each other with precision and creativity. The menus are intelligently designed, showcasing high-quality ingredients, treated with care at every stage. From appetizer to dessert, the cooking is impeccable, demonstrating true expertise. A big thank you also to the service, which was welcoming and warm. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, sometimes surprising, but always delicious. A culinary experience as enjoyable as it is memorable!

03/02/2026: Always a wonderful experience! From the service and the ever-improving selection of natural wines to the top-notch homemade cuisine, Le Troquet is a true delight! The little beef cheek croquettes are simply melt-in-your-mouth sweets. The fried chicken, a modern twist on karaage, is perfect. And even the desserts, including homemade chocolate mousse, are fantastic, with a particular favorite being the walnut and praline cream tart—wow, I recommend ordering one dessert per person! They offer excellent advice on wines and pairings, always with great suggestions. We simply had a wonderful time. A must-visit for tourists and locals alike! It's one of the best wine bars in Lyon. Bravo!

06/12/2025: I've been waiting for my food for an hour. And it's clearly not going to arrive anytime soon.

05/12/2025: A €14 salad consisting mainly of lettuce leaves! The Caesar salad had mayonnaise dressing and a few breaded pieces of chicken. No croutons. The Parmesan had no flavor. Avoid it.

16/04/2026: An excellent restaurant. We had the set menu for lunch, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The recommended wine was simply superb. The service was always attentive, friendly, and courteous. We spent a very pleasant afternoon at Mr. Takano's.

06/04/2026: Bad experience. I advise against going there in the evening for an aperitif, just to have a drink and some snacks to share. You risk being rather abruptly asked to leave, as they want to reclaim the table for the dinner guests, who are therefore spending more... Not very customer-oriented; they could at least have offered us the option of finishing our drinks at the bar.

04/04/2026: I’m a Brit visiting and I was blown away by this place. Friendly helpful service, lively atmosphere. The food was insane. Had lyonnaise salad, delicious. The traditional sausage. The meat inside was so unprocessed. The dessert was also an absolute delight. Praline tart. Not over the top sweet, tasted freshly baked. Truly a delightful meal. If I’m ever in Lyon again I will be aiming to go back here.
