12/09/2026: Odessa Comptoir is by far my favorite restaurant in Lyon. I loved being able to try multiple dishes and pair everything with some really good wine. It’s the kind of place where you can order a bunch of things, share, and just enjoy the experience. The inside has such a fun vibe. It’s definitely cramped, but in a way that makes the place feel lively and leads to good conversations and great people watching. I’d absolutely recommend it for dinner, but make a reservation beforehand because this is a popular one! 🍷

30/08/2026: Positive points - I love the place and have been there about three times during my visits to Lyon. - Overall, the food is very good. Of the three dishes I ordered this time, two were really excellent (the chorizo ​​and pork loin buns) and consistent with what I had enjoyed on my previous visits. Negative points - I was very disappointed with the €11 tomato salad shown at the bottom of my photo. I find this dish quite inconsistent with the rest of the menu: very little apparent effort put into the ingredients and, above all, a truly tiny portion for the price. I almost felt ripped off. For €11 worth of tomatoes, one would at least expect a much more generous portion. As it stands, I would prefer to see this dish removed from the menu or at least double the quantity. Otherwise, objectively, it's highway robbery; forgive me, but it's too obvious with this dish. - The service was adequate but rather understated and uninviting. Nothing unpleasant, but a bit more friendliness would have made the experience much more welcoming. - Finally, the restroom bin was constantly overflowing, even though the restaurant was very quiet and several staff members were available. This is the kind of detail that could easily be checked and corrected. In short: a place I enjoy and where I've eaten very well before, but this last experience was too inconsistent to give more than 3 stars.

18/08/2026: During a dinner for two, we received a particularly warm welcome and excellent advice. The products are fresh, local, with precise traceability, and prepared with undeniable expertise. The selection is quite varied, from hot to cold platters, as are the individual platters, both in terms of variety and quantity. A friendly place with a warm atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a platter with a good drink. The drinks menu reflects the quality of the food: once again, local expertise and quality are showcased. This is an address I sincerely recommend, and an experience that was particularly appreciated, especially due to the professionalism of the owners.

11/09/2026: Quite simply, our go-to spot for years. One of the best bistros in Lyon, the food is fantastic, with quality ingredients and great prices! Go for it, you won't regret it!

10/09/2026: Fantastic! The restaurant was packed, but despite the rush, all the staff were smiling, attentive, helpful, and efficient. You can tell the dishes are prepared with good ingredients... and with love! The prices are quite reasonable. A really great atmosphere. This is the second time we've had lunch at Bistrot d'Odette, and it won't be the last!

01/09/2026: A great spot in the heart of Croix-Rousse, with an original concept offering both Southwestern and Lyonnais specialties. The cassoulet is delicious, and they also have quenelles and other Lyonnais specialties. Plenty of choice, affordable prices, and a charming and very friendly owner. A place worth discovering.

27/07/2026: A gift from our children, it was amazing! I loved it, I love anything to do with shows. Being part of a volunteer association where we also put on a show once a year, I thought it was fantastic that there was a magician, an impressionist, even the owners and the young waiters were great. We had a wonderful evening, I highly recommend it. It's an excellent remedy for depression. Well done to the team, Les Pieds en Plat, keep up the good work, we'll be back!

20/09/2026: A friend from Lyon had recommended this bouchon, a restaurant she's known her whole life. It's a family-run establishment. We weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious and homemade with quality ingredients. We started with cervelle de canuts (a cheese spread) as an appetizer to share, followed by oeufs meurette (eggs poached in red wine sauce), delicious pike quenelles, rum baba for me, and crème brûlée for my husband. A real treat!

04/09/2026: A SHAME! The waitresses are very nice, but the restaurant is SHAMEFUL!! It has NOTHING MOROCCAN about it, not even remotely; the rib-eye steaks aren't even halal!!!! I've never seen anything like it in my life; it's nothing like a Moroccan restaurant. You call this Moroccan couscous????????

02/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Mère Brazier, a truly delightful culinary experience with completely new and exciting flavors. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. My only slight reservation was that my husband didn't care for the sauce that accompanied the sweetbreads, but I was absolutely delighted with my meal. Special mention goes to the sommelier who recommended the wine. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. They even ask about any allergies. The setting is understated, and the tableware is elegant. This restaurant is highly recommended.

30/08/2026: Signature cuisine worthy of the chef's distinction as a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) in 1996. (The chef himself came to us at the end of the meal to get our feedback on the experience, which was a very thoughtful touch.) Finally, the restaurant has been completely renovated. A Michelin-star contender in the making. In short, well worth a visit without hesitation.

17/09/2026: A truly wonderful experience is guaranteed. When your plate arrives, you immediately know that there's a passionate chef behind the stove. The menu is short because everything is genuinely homemade. For a reasonable price, you get cuisine that would cost twice as much elsewhere. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is professional. It's in restaurants like this that you realize 80% of French "restaurants" are simply focused on business without respecting their customers, instead of passionately serving them. +++ for the establishment, thank you to the whole team ❤️
