27/07/2026: A gift from our children, it was amazing! I loved it, I love anything to do with shows. Being part of a volunteer association where we also put on a show once a year, I thought it was fantastic that there was a magician, an impressionist, even the owners and the young waiters were great. We had a wonderful evening, I highly recommend it. It's an excellent remedy for depression. Well done to the team, Les Pieds en Plat, keep up the good work, we'll be back!

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful time with friends at this restaurant tonight. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the chef was also smiling and friendly! I had the kefta tagine, which was excellent! I hope to come back and try the couscous soon.

It was so life-changing, in fact, that I had to go back a second time just to experience it all over again. ​Stepping into this iconic Lyon institution, you expect perfection. You don't expect to be emotionally undone by baked eggs and sugar—twice. ​When it arrives, it commands the table, defying both gravity and physics by rising impossibly high above the ramekin with a golden crown. I’m convinced the pastry team sold their souls to a French demon of thermo-expansion, because achieving a structure this tall without collapsing into a tragic egg puddle borders on sorcery. ​Piercing the crust yields a faint, delicate crackle before your spoon sinks into a center of cloud-like velvet. Texture-wise, it’s an ethereal foam that practically evaporates on the tongue, striking an impossible balance between deep, decadent richness and feather-light subtlety. It is an absolute masterclass in emulsion and aeration. ​Ordering it once is an unforgettable privilege; ordering it twice in one trip is an admission of complete culinary surrender. ​If you find yourself in Lyon, book a table immediately—and maybe clear your schedule to book a second one before you leave.

22/06/2026: A great find! Highly recommended! The food is excellent. The dishes are high quality, but perhaps not quite generous enough. I had the Milanese veal cutlet. It was delicious. For dessert, the tarte tatin was also wonderful. It just needed a scoop of vanilla ice cream to complete the meal! The bread is very good, and the carafe of water is very cold. The prices are very reasonable. Thank you 😁

01/08/2026: Impeccable service, very pleasant waiter, but a terrible disappointment in terms of taste. There was no balance of flavors (the vinegar was poorly executed), and the dessert was extremely bitter, barely edible. I'll go back after checking if the chef is on vacation or in the kitchen, but tonight, it was unacceptable that a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) would send out dishes so poorly executed. It deserves another try outside of holiday periods.
