22/02/2024: Ludovic Boulgakoff is a young chef. The dishes (starters and main courses) are tasty and plentiful. Small downside concerning, that day, the desserts which did not seem up to what we had had before: in particular the chestnut dessert, almost no taste...which one of the managers admitted. As in most bistronomic restaurants (and others too), if the lunch menu is quite affordable, the wine remains quite expensive. To conclude, this very good restaurant is worth visiting.

27/03/2024: Very charming atmosphere, typical lyonnaise cuisine, I had the "riz de veau" and it was delicious. Desserts were also yummy. Too bad we only started to eat when all the other tables had finished their starters. We were there for the first service of dinner and the staff ignored us for the first 30'-40' and we were the only table not eating. When we finally decided to enquire about our food they curtly told us it was because we didn't order starters. A smile and a gentler answer may have compensated for the wait and maybe let us forget about it.

23/03/2024: We were received as part of a group meal for 30 people, a space and servers were dedicated to us for the entire evening. The service was fluid despite our number, the waitresses spoke perfect English to meet the demands of the group. The dishes and desserts are elaborate and refined. The meal was simply excellent!

29/03/2024: Traditional, satisfying cuisine “like at home”: taste & quality, but with the professional touch. Impeccable service, provided by the Chef. Value for money: very good. Quite advantageous compared to others! About €80 for 2 people, tip included. Excellent Lyon cork.

27/03/2024: First visit to this restaurant, although I have lived not very far away for years. Room filled with Lyon clichés and others, very cozy, very corky atmosphere. Very warm welcome, pleasant and friendly. Excellent meal for this lunch with a Formula at 25.90€ starter main course dessert: Meurette eggs Poultry liver cake Baba rum Beautiful presentation for all the dishes and above all great success on the plates, everything was delicious. I highly recommend Les Marionnettes, go there with your eyes closed.

01/04/2024: I've been there twice and both my experiences were perfect. Quick and friendly welcome. The fact of paying for game access only once and having access to it all evening is very nice (unlike game bars where you pay by the hour).

28/03/2024: I liked this cuisine, subtle and surprising, special mention to the asparagus in the dish. Portions could be slightly more generous. A little less enthusiastic about the dessert chosen with Jerusalem artichoke chips (hmmm) but which I found overall quite bland.

02/04/2024: Exceptional! Do not trust negative reviews which only reflect overly personal experiences. We went there on Sunday March 31 at the end of the service, we were welcomed "like at home" as if we were regulars, the owners Nanou and Franck were fond of us, the retro atmosphere of the place and the music took us on a journey, far from the Lounge Chillout music that we are used to listening to. The dishes offered are authentic from a real "Bouchon Lyonnais", they were well served and very good. They accompanied us throughout the meal, and were attentive to us. We will definitely come back there during our next stay in Lyon to introduce our friends to this place and thank Nanou and Franck very warmly again for this time with them.

01/04/2024: Easter week end. We were looking for a restaurant after 10 p.m..... Not easy. However, Nanou and Franck welcomed us with open arms. What a great idea. Charming, super friendly and welcoming people. Be careful, place reserved for bon vivants!!! Here, we eat well (healthy enthusiasts, go your way), we drink well, we have fun, we chat, we meet new people... All this in an atmosphere like at home. Thank you Nanou for saving us from the waters and making us so warmly welcome, thank you Franck for the delicious cuisine. Stay as you are, real people. We love it and recommend +++!!!
