A true institution, either once a year on a pilgrimage from Geneva as a team... or with friends or family... we come home exhausted, sit down, then forget everything, and come out reinvigorated from this magical place! Food Wines Ambiance the service the setting the atmosphere the soul the love the fresh the house! the address of epicureans! Bravo see cult!

Despite everything it's good but nothing exceptional especially for an additional cost of €6 Vs the menu for 4 small scallops….
Excellent service and there is no signage to find the restaurant from the outside...

We therefore chose Le Gabion, and we had an excellent time, whether it was the refined dishes, the atmosphere or the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.
A very good address that I highly recommend.

The choice is between the 3-step menu and the 5-step menu.
A nice wine list with lots of choice.
The dishes are nicely presented, but the cooking of the black Angus beef was poor (with a supplement of €17 on the menu price, it was grilled on the outside, blue on the inside)
Noise level is low, they play nice background music. The wait is very long between dishes.
However, the desserts were good and we liked the famous lemon.
The dinner did not live up to our expectations. We found the price to be excessive in relation to the service received and the quality of the dishes.

22/03/2024: Even having moved 30 minutes away I prefer to order my sushi here, which shows the quality of the products!! Generosity, smile, and unbeatable value for money are the best words to describe this restaurant. Well done !
14/02/2024: One of the best sushi I have ever had in Lyon. The products are fresh and very good. The cook is very commercial and helpful. Remember that this is not a restaurant so much for eating on site.
