26/07/2024: Good food and a fantastic view of the Val Thorens valley. The downside is the higher prices.

13/05/2024: Very nice restaurant with good food! Friendly service and some surprising things on the menu. Different than most restaurants at that altitude. Poke Bowl, well-filled salads…. Very tasty! Lovely terrace, full glass of rosé, great!

04/05/2024: The terrace is in a nice spot on the slopes. They have a small takeaway hut for paninis and the like. The prices at this hut are good, but you do get mediocre food. A chicken panini is a panini with chicken nuggets. But for a quick stopover it's fine. The restaurant, on the other hand, was really bad. Several things were already gone and the price for a bit of normal food is very high. 19 euros for an easy pasta is not necessary and does not make sense. 24 euros for a simple chicken burger is also ridiculously expensive. In addition, the staff forgets to take your order again. This meant we had to wait three times. They are also not aware in advance of what is no longer there. This makes it take even longer.

08/04/2024: I knew it was going to be expensive, but the Tarte Myrtille was sub standard. The pastry (pate sucree) was over baked and more likely to be standard short crust. The berries had next to no flavour and seemed suspiciously like they weren't Myrtille Sauvage more the cultivated variety.Having said that they are surprisingly efficient at feeding and watering the quantities of clients that can be accommodated within and outside.

06/04/2024: C’était un bon resto d’altitude avec un bon rapport qualité -prix, mais c’est fini. Devenu cher, peu aimable et très médiocre. À éviter

14/08/2024: Très déçu par le prix de 36,00 € pour une croziflette, une tarte et une bière pression en 25 cl. Je pense que je me suis fait avoir par la demoiselle à la caisse. Après réflexion, il semblerait bien m'être fait voler. C'est pas bien d'arnaquer les touristes. Passer votre chemin, vous êtes prévenus... Dimanche 11 août vers 14h. Je comprends pourquoi les restaurants ont peu de monde, il faut mieux prévoir la glacière, on moins on n'est pas déçu. J'aimerais bien connaître les prix que j'ai consommé. 22/09/2024: No experience. Within an hour of our order we had 2 glasses of wine and nothing else. We left. Luckily we had reservations! It looked very good though on the tables next to it...

21/09/2024: Very mixed about this restaurant... the food is good but the portions may need to be reviewed for the foie gras starter (which in my opinion is more akin to an appetizer quantity). I order a tomato salad as a starter, it comes with a burrata stuffed with pesto, however mine did not contain any, it was only when I asked the waiter that I was told that there was no has more pesto in the kitchen (something I can totally understand but I would have preferred to be told about it rather than see if I would notice) Additional downside regarding the prices of drinks, the mojito without alcohol is sold at the same price as the one with alcohol, but this is not indicated anywhere on the menu. There is only the normal mojito on the menu but if you request it it is possible to make one without alcohol (which generally costs less) I leave a little disappointed with my experience, too bad

02/04/2024: After coming to this ski area for 4 years, we moved to this location yesterday. They are just friendly here, the service is much faster than across the street, both for drinks and food. You get a nice portion of fries here. The only pity is that today at 3 pm only fries or croques could be ordered from the dishes. But we also enjoyed that. We will go to this room every time from now on! Definitely recommended!

02/04/2024: Fast and correct service with good handling. Large portions of fries and tasty croque messieurs. It is advisable to be quick to order food, because in the afternoon the terrace fills up and the food quickly runs out.

23/08/2024: Made us pay for 2 drinks to refill our water bottle. Limit for the only bar at 2700m

03/08/2024: We took a break at lunchtime after getting off the bike park, my partner being allergic to celery, we had to ask the boss to make a Niçoise salad again and when I added the bill I discovered that the Mr charged us for the two salads. I find this anything but professional. The tourist is a real cash cow and I find that a shame.

27/04/2024: Very warm welcome, the dishes are good (chicken tartiflette and burger). The prices are those of a mountain restaurant. The view is nice and the little extra is the retractable veranda where you can eat under cover.

13/04/2024: Superb view, very nice atmosphere, the boss takes care of his customers, everything is good and plentiful see photo profiteroles 😋many thanks for the suggestions for walks and return to Belle Plagne. Hopefully we can come back next year. Laurent family 60

09/08/2024: We have been coming to Chamois d’Or for several years. the location is perfect, the reception is very efficient and always accommodating even during the rush of departures or arrivals. We can only recommend! The best value for money in Val Tho in my opinion

04/09/2024: We had a delicious meal here. We were helped quickly and professionally, good English was spoken so that we could make ourselves clear 😉. The restaurant and especially the conservatory have a nice appearance and it is nice that you can hear the water flowing next to you. When the weather is warm enough, the conservatory can also be opened.

03/09/2024: Excellent discovery in the heart of Pralognan! Impeccable service, delicious and generous cuisine, artisanal ice creams and an exquisite dessert of the day! Nothing more to say other than to highly recommend this establishment 😀
