03/05/2026: Nice large terrace, often have to get your own drinks/food at the bar, but the service is fast.

02/05/2026: Frankly, we wondered if it was because it was the end of the season or if the service was like this all year round… The terrace was practically empty, yet the wait was abnormally long. We had to ask for the drinks menu twice. Once our order was taken, they brought us something other than what we had ordered, claiming they were out of it… In that case, they should perhaps mention it upfront. And when we pointed out the problem, the response was borderline rude: “I didn’t give you the menu, where did you get it?!” In short, a rather disappointing experience, especially for such a well-located place.

12/07/2026: Last-minute stay, one phone call and it was all sorted. Booking made with complete confidence over the phone. Modern, quiet, comfortable, and very clean room. Excellent meals, enjoyed on-site, with attentive service. We will definitely return; the conversation with Alexandre and his warm welcome made all the difference (that's my Norman side showing 😉).

29/06/2026: We spent one night at this hotel during our motorcycle road trip on the RGA. The location is pleasant and the rooms are adequate, but the restaurant was very disappointing. The salad advertised with homemade smoked duck breast and homemade foie gras arrived without duck breast (it was replaced with smoked ham) or foie gras, consisting mainly of salad and a few pieces of Beaufort cheese. The ham tasted questionable. The dessert selection was very limited and unappealing; we ultimately decided to go elsewhere for a decent dessert. The next day, my wife was ill (vomiting, stomach pains), which forced us to stop at a pharmacy, strongly suggesting a problem related to the meal. Not ideal for a motorcycle trip. We do not recommend the restaurant at this establishment.

22/08/2026: Thin-crust pizzas with generous toppings. Special mention for the delicious and hearty homemade lasagna. It's a shame the roadworks down the street make access a bit difficult.

17/08/2026: This pizzeria was perfectly timed for the descent from the Col de l'Iseran. The waitress was very friendly and the pizza lived up to my expectations. I highly recommend it!

26/06/2026: I've never left a review for a restaurant before, but my experience here was disastrous. They advertised two Savoyard pizzas (country ham, Reblochon cheese, onions, and cream), but what we got was a thick crust with a little Reblochon cheese and a slice of country ham baked on top. No cream, no onions, no flavor... Very disappointed 😔

14/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed a delicious meal, and were very friendly staff. It's a shame Eveline is retiring.

29/08/2026: The welcome was warm and the service quick. The meal was delicious, and the chestnut mousse was a real treat! 😋 I highly recommend this brasserie; we had a wonderful time.

22/08/2026: No menu. Dessert choices announced by the owner without prices, a surprise at the end... Dirty toilets, not very reassuring. I don't recommend it.

19/04/2026: Great restaurant with an incredible view and location. Reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in the area. Good food, thank you, see you soon! There was a bit of a wait due to the crowds. We loved Le Magicien. Thank you!

11/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! I ordered a pizza and to this day, I've never tasted such a bad one. It was completely burnt underneath and the ham was very low quality, like something from a budget brand, if that. For a €30 pizza! This is very poor! The service, however, was very good. Thank you to the waiters!

01/11/2025: A pseudo-trendy restaurant. Predominantly full of show-offs. A bit tacky. They fill your plate with the powder from their sparklers. And a DJ who only plays a 70s/80s playlist. Not a repeat. Avoid it. It's not worth the price.

16/08/2026: Avoid at all costs!! I came today for a crepe and a waffle, and they were really bad. So I asked the waitress if the crepes were freshly made or reheated, and she told me they had made too many for August 15th (the day before) and that's why they were reheated! So we were served day-old crepes without being told, and at full price!! The waitress gave us the crepe for free, but if we hadn't realized, we would have paid today's price for a dessert from the day before!! This is blatant deception and fraud against the customer! The manager is dishonest to do this kind of thing!

16/08/2026: What can I say! Avoid at all costs! We sat down and a very pleasant waitress took our order, served us an aperitif, and then told us they didn't have any Pad Thai (the dish we had ordered). So we ordered bowls. She came back and told us they were out of stock. Since we were already seated, we settled for a burger and a diot sausage. It was 12:15 pm and service was just beginning. When we paid, we were informed that the dishes had been out of stock for a week. We got angry, and as a professional chef, I told them they had a duty to inform customers and remove the missing dishes from their menu. Other tourists and customers found themselves in the same situation as us that day, so it's definitely a rip-off. I absolutely do not recommend stopping at this establishment. The service was impeccable, but there's no real chef in the kitchen. And I'm not even talking about the freshness of the products.

08/04/2026: The appearance is reasonably okay. You have to do the service yourself, so there isn't any. The food is inedible and everything looks like food for your dog !!!!! And on top of that, it's expensive; naturally, for dog food, it's not okay.

07/04/2026: The portions aren't the same every day. I had diots two days in a row; the first day I had two, the second day only one. !!!

05/09/2026: I recently moved to Aix-les-Bains for work. I didn't know the city yet and wanted to go out in the evenings, so this place was one of my first suggestions. I searched on Google. I looked at some photos and the atmosphere seemed nice. I went there for the first time, and at the entrance, the bouncer wouldn't let me in because, and I quote, "it won't be possible since I don't know you," even though I was sober and well-dressed. I asked him how I was supposed to get in in the coming days if I didn't know you, and he told me that wouldn't be possible either. I'm very disappointed, as I was really looking forward to enjoying myself. I hope that after this review, things will be different the next time I go there. Thank you.

12/07/2026: A very bad experience. The woman at the reception was particularly unpleasant and unwelcoming. It really felt like a "buy it or leave" situation, with absolutely no sense of customer service. The fruit wasn't fresh, and neither were the fruit cocktails. Considering the quality of the products, the prices are far too high. We should have read the reviews before coming. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning.

08/07/2026: A break for a detox juice. 70cl of freshness. Good welcome and service.

02/06/2026: 5.8 euros for a ham and cheese sandwich... Not a single lettuce leaf, no filling... 2 slices of processed cheese...

26/08/2026: It's impossible to order just a portion of fries. "We cook here, it's not snacking." I understand that, but if someone in the group, like in our case, has several food intolerances, why not make an effort? Is it better to pay for one dish and leave two-thirds of it? €24 for poutine with not-so-homemade fries and just a simple cheese sauce on top... Clearly exorbitant prices. A charcuterie platter is €16, a charcuterie platter in Les Menuires is €14, and twice as much. Of our entire stay, this was the only "bad" experience, in terms of service.

12/08/2026: This restaurant doesn't accept children. We were thrown out. The owners are awful and unpleasant. They pick and choose their customers. It's discrimination. Everyone, don't go to this restaurant.

29/08/2026: It's a disgrace. While the staff are welcoming, the owner doesn't accept the slightest criticism and always has an answer for everything. We asked for our dish to be slightly warmed because it was a bit cold, and he told us it had just been taken out of the refrigerator and asked if we were just looking for a fault for the sake of it. The apartment wasn't clean; we considered leaving without sleeping.

21/12/2025: Grumpy waitress Annoyed when asked a question Limited selection at 7 a.m. Only one raisin bread, for example. Lectures a customer who buys her entire stock, what she had planned to sell for the day. Why go into this line of work if you're so bitter? I fear the financial results will reflect her lack of enthusiasm. Customers should avoid this place.
