How lucky we were to find a restaurant like this in this location. Everything we ate was delicious.
We even tried some rum. And the welcome was genuinely warm.

10/12/2025: I had the same unpleasant experience as that woman with her 4-year-old daughter when trying to access the restroom. I was accosted as soon as I left the restroom. What shocks me is the manner of doing it, not the substance of the matter. Admittedly, these aren't public restrooms, but in an emergency, it seems to me that the basic principle is to allow access. In several countries around us, this is even enshrined in law. This lack of humanity—and yes, madam, it is a lack of humanity—only reinforces my doubts about returning to this establishment. I recently found the prices far too high for the quality, but I must say, this takes the cake! At what point do you consider being unpleasant to a customer a good business strategy? Just because you think you have some kind of monopoly on the banks of the Marne doesn't mean you should abuse it.
08/12/2025: As a customer, I arrived with my 4-year-old daughter in a genuine emergency, unable to hold it in. I asked for help, clearly explaining the situation. Despite this, the employee and her manager refused, showing absolutely no compassion, leaving me to manage a situation they could have easily prevented.
It's shocking to see an establishment open to the public turn its back on a mother and child in distress. A little basic humanity would have sufficed.
RESPONSE: Refusing any assistance in an exceptional case, in the name of strict rules, demonstrates, in my opinion, a lack of empathy, not poor management of the establishment. My opinion reflects this experience and is intended solely to inform others facing similar situations. I encourage you to consider that a little basic humanity doesn't invalidate your rules, but can make all the difference in critical moments.

29/11/2025: Pleasantly surprised by the deviled eggs served on a bed of mashed potatoes,
I then eagerly awaited the shrimp rougail, but the dish arrived with a musty smell. All I could see were unpeeled shrimp, bland, tasteless rice swimming in a broth they called rougail.
After asking for a container for the shrimp scraps, I noticed a mealy taste.
I left the dish and asked for the bill.
The restaurant owner didn't question anything and gave me a discount on the menu because I hadn't ordered the cheese.
03/11/2025: Nice little restaurant. They cooked the meat perfectly. Homemade fries. Reasonable prices.

27/06/2025: Lunch today. Perfect welcome and meal. The risotto of the day is very good and plentiful, the Caesar salad is plentiful not only in salad with croutons and with chicken too. Looking at the photos on the website, the cherry tomatoes are missing from both dishes...it was the end of service, maybe there were none left. In any case, it was very good.

Best is to reserve as it gets busy.
Thay have a kids menu also.

The setting is really very nice: Fabiola and her team are always very pleasant and smiling, the cuisine is refined, we are never disappointed, the music is well chosen without being too loud.

We had a great time. It was very good. Small downside for the soft chocolate with a runny center but I am quite demanding on this dessert. The service is correct and the owner is radiant. I recommend this restaurant in this village.
I knew this restaurant before confinement. And since then, I have been there several times. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. The welcome is pleasant and the staff attentive and smiling. As for the dishes offered, they are very good. The presentation of the dishes is nice. The wait between courses is OK. Concerning the prices, I find them a little expensive but we will come back.

Very friendly welcome.
The place is lovely and very well-maintained.
Everything is homemade, from the all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet to the all-you-can-eat dessert buffet.
05/12/2025: Good value for money. One small drawback. In the future,
avoid telling customers at 8:50 pm that you're about to close if you want to retain local customers... word of mouth unfortunately often leads to a loss... Not a big deal, but it's something to keep in mind if you want to ensure the long-term viability of your business.
Otherwise, a warm welcome and good quality meat. Friendly staff as well.

07/09/2024: Certainement la meilleure table de Fontainebleau. L’accueil est impeccable tout comme le service. Je vous conseille de manger dans la véranda, l’ambiance y est très agréable. A faire absolument.
05/08/2024: Restaurant avec un parking intérieur, c'est bien mais vite plein et se parquer dehors devient vite loin. Terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin privé calme. A ce niveau de prix, déjeuner sur un table genre ikea sans nappe n'est pas du niveau. La commande de 2 coupes de champagne arrive toute faite alors que dans un restaurant de ce niveau cela devrait être servi à table en marque de respect et, de plus, cela permet de voir la marque du champagne si on l'apprécie puisque la serveuse ne connait pas ce qu'elle sert quand on lui demande .... (26€) Le foie gras arrive pas froid et mousseux en une fine tranche non uniforme genre cramoisi ! . C'est pas bon et incompréhensible (une erreur ? un loupé ? une recette "branchée") QUID ?. Le ris de veau est bon et les légumes croquants et variés, c'est correct (ça peut pour 38€ le plat) le poisson et les langoustines avec les légumes sont corrects mais cela manque de gout (herbes subtiles ou assaisonement manquants ?) c'est sans immagination. le dessert maca long est très correct avec des fruits frais mais encore une fois, genre bien mais peut mieux faire et déja vu souvent.
Une bone carte des vins mais pas de 1/2 bouteilles en rouge et deux en blanc, pas du niveau auquel prétend ce restaurant.
Bref 204 € à deux avec 2 verres de rouge moyen et un 1/2 sancerre blanc, laisse un arrière gout de loupé et de peut mieux faire dans un service et cadre limite. dommage, il faudrait un vrai effort pour monter d'un cran.
