03/12/2025: Really disappointed. All the dishes were straight from the freezer and barely warmed up. The service needs improvement; the staff wasn't very friendly, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

11/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at Virgile and Xavier's bistro: the Auvergne burger was delicious, and the Côtes du Rhône was perfect. Everything was top-notch.

07/02/2026: Feb 26: Still as bad as ever... ripping off customers is practically a given! Once again, something was missing from my order and I slipped through the checkout process... so much for trust! Ugh. Disastrous experience! It was impossible to select a base topping flavor for the Cream Ball; it was only available as an extra! (Chocolate hazelnut). On my previous order, the hostess happily approved the flavor change. Tonight, not a single hostess was there to point out another one, not to mention the so-called manager, who was unpleasant to the point of being vulgar and rude. I'm appalled by the attention a flavor change gets when this chain throws away certain dishes every day...

07/02/2026: What can I say?? The restaurant is filthy, with a blatant lack of hygiene, and on top of that, the staff is just underqualified and rude. Avoid it at all costs; you'll be insulted simply for going to complain about something you're missing.

29/11/2025: A €35 set menu featuring high-quality, entirely homemade products. Everything was excellent and generous. The service was excellent and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

29/11/2025: Pleasantly surprised by the deviled eggs served on a bed of mashed potatoes, I then eagerly awaited the shrimp rougail, but the dish arrived with a musty smell. All I could see were unpeeled shrimp, bland, tasteless rice swimming in a broth they called rougail. After asking for a container for the shrimp scraps, I noticed a mealy taste. I left the dish and asked for the bill. The restaurant owner didn't question anything and gave me a discount on the menu because I hadn't ordered the cheese.

19/12/2025: A really fun show with a trip back to the 60s and 70s. A very enjoyable and fast-paced experience. The singer/impressionist is excellent. Bravo to the whole cast! The food was decent. I recommend this establishment 👍👍

16/04/2025: I recommend this restaurant which offers simple and authentic cuisine in a very good atmosphere. A superb homemade pie Followed by a skewer with fries (excellent) and salad. In summer the terrace must be very pleasant

07/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant during our visit to the small Christmas market on Sunday, December 7th (group of 6). The menu was excellent, with reasonable prices. The staff was very welcoming. We had a lovely time. I recommend it.

15/11/2025: Restaurant-Bar located in the center of this beautiful "village of character." Reopening since October 24, 2023, with new owners, rewarded by the return of customers! The food has moved upmarket with a reasonable price of 31 euros for the full menu. As for the dining room service, it's friendly and very efficient. Pleasant terrace in good weather.

20/01/2026: January 2026, a Monday Lunch for a group of 21 hikers. Refined and light cuisine, no waiting, friendly owner. Good price for the group menu, drinks included. Everyone was very happy and wants to come back. I confirm the 5 stars. I forgot to take photos. August 2025: Same as 2024 July 2024 Excellent. Hard work pays off. Deserves 6 stars. Weekday lunch menu for 4 hikers. Pleasant terrace, beautiful tables, natural service. A pleasant surprise and a great memory.

12/12/2025: A truly delightful culinary experience...the baked eggs and asparagus risotto...absolutely divine. The beef cheek and burgers...top-notch...perfect...the accompanying gratin dauphinois...I'm still dreaming about it ❤️ and the burger fries...I think it's hard to beat. In short, simple, delicious, and above all, perfectly executed cuisine. A wonderful place and charming people.

09/01/2026: Customer service leaves much to be desired. We've been customers for several years and we've noticed that the service is getting worse and worse. The staff don't know the products they're selling (they always have to ask in the back). The customer service is unfriendly, as if they couldn't care less about making a sale. When you ask to place an order, they don't know if the pastry chef will be there, or what pastries they'll be making, and in any case, they "don't want to set anything aside," even though you want to order for the following week... Like other customers, we've noticed a lack of hygiene on the part of some of the staff. For us, this is the last time. Their products may be good, but other bakeries and pastry shops nearby are just as good, and the quality of service and hygiene are far superior.

27/10/2025: Every time I'm in Provins for work, I stop by La Cure d'Air for their sirloin steak with brie sauce. A real treat. And what's more, the restaurant offers reasonably priced menus.
