08/10/2026: I left a less than favorable review. I have no complaints about the food or the service. We had received a gift certificate for Christmas, but then I had to take care of my father, who was hospitalized and passed away in April. So I wasn't able to use my gift certificate. I called at the beginning of October—it's true, it took a while—but they refused to accept my request to use it, which I find unfortunate, both for the people who had spent money on it and for those who had already paid for it. I think a little compassion would be appreciated. Instead of telling us that being an accountant isn't possible, I, as a business owner, know perfectly well that it's possible. It's a shame, it was a place I liked, but the lack of humanity is a real pity.

24/08/2026: Disappointment! We go to this restaurant occasionally, and we were there Sunday at lunchtime. First hiccup: we ordered appetizers with a charcuterie and cheese board. A second person came and asked if we wanted drinks, and we informed them that we had already ordered them, so they took our order for the main courses. The board arrived with the appetizers, and not even ten minutes later our main courses were served, even though half the board was still left 😒 The beef (we had asked when ordering if it was flank steak, and we were told "no") arrived cold and not prepared as usual with toasted herbs, which gives it a nice little flavor, only to realize it was flank steak. I should point out that the meat itself was still very good 👍 I always order the pavlova for dessert because it's amazing, and again, disappointment because it wasn't at all like usual. However, the waitress was extremely friendly and pleasant. Maybe my usual boss is on vacation, but too bad for me ☺️

04/09/2026: A small, unassuming bistro, rather ordinary and lacking in decor. Two brothers running the place, extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent food, culminating in an unforgettable homemade salted caramel brioche for dessert. No pretensions, just pure bliss. Thank you for this delightful experience. It was the first of what will surely be many more to come.

25/08/2026: After a steep climb of about 100 meters to reach the heart of Montmorency from Soisy/Enghien, my favorite thing to do is settle down on the terrace of the "Cheval Blanc" for a well-deserved refreshment, just enough time to soak up the atmosphere before strolling around. From the terrace, there's a full view of the Place Roger Levanneur and its lively atmosphere, whether it's market day (Wednesday/Sunday) or not. And what has always surprised me is learning that the establishment used to settle the bills of impoverished intellectuals and artists in the 19th century by using one of their works.

05/10/2026: We had a wonderful evening at MEVAN on Friday, October 2nd. A truly enjoyable experience, with a warm welcome and a team that went above and beyond. I especially want to commend Kevin, our server, for his professionalism, kindness, smile, and attentiveness throughout the evening. 20/09/2026: One Sunday at 3 pm, we were passing by and stopped at this unassuming little restaurant. And what a discovery! The food was absolutely delicious, they were open all day, the waitresses were friendly and helpful, the restrooms were clean—in short, everything was perfect! I don't know when, but we'll definitely be back...

03/10/2026: A very pleasant place, the lady and gentleman serving were very kind and smiling. There was a slight wait for the food, but it wasn't a problem. The dishes were very good and the desserts excellent. We will keep very fond memories and will return.

26/07/2026: A lovely place for our second visit two years ago. We feel that the service and the overall ambiance have declined. Chipped dishes, worn wine glasses with stains from repeated washings, a cobweb on the window handle at eye level, dust in the decorative niches next to the kitchens, and a dreadful restroom! All of this was politely pointed out. However, the food and dishes were very good and flavorful from appetizer to dessert.

26/04/2026: A very rich breakfast, especially by Parisian standards. Nothing was missing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were fine, each with a separate entrance. Warm.

21/04/2026: An absolutely perfect stay from beginning to end. The welcome was warm, with an attentive and always available team who were never intrusive. The room was spotless, spacious, and impeccably comfortable. The breakfast was varied and generous, with fresh and delicious products. It's exactly the kind of place you want to return to without hesitation.

03/10/2026: A truly lovely crêperie in Cormeilles-en-Parisis. Exceptional service. The buckwheat galette with duck gizzard and foie gras is outstanding. The sweet galette is delicious. Hats off to the chefs! I absolutely love this crêperie ♥️♥️

06/09/2026: Just as good as ever, in just as lovely a setting. Incredible tiramisu! A hidden gem of a restaurant/bistro in the Vexin region! The dining room is lively, the service is warm and welcoming, and the dishes are generous and perfectly cooked. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable, and their preparation is exquisite. The wines are also excellent! Enjoy your meal.
