Les meilleurs restaurantsde cuisine française en Vendee

18/08/2024: Ayant réservé pour trois, nous avons déjeuné, comme prévu en terrasse. Au niveau de l'addition pas de surprise, quant au service ce fut top les serveurs sont très réactifs, excellente présentation (très pros, bravo les jeunes !). Nous sommes régulièrement à proximité de la Tranche depuis près de 20 ans !), n'ayant pas de monnaie, lors de mon paiement en CB, je voulais augmenter (comme ça se fait dans d'autres commerces) mon paiement (avec une touche spéciale) mais comme (semble-t-il) ça n'allait pas directement aux serveurs-ses j'y ai renoncé à mon grand regret (encourager nos jeunes c'est important !). Si la présentation des plats était soignée, j'ai été très étonné de la taille des morceaux de poissons (des carrés) et de l'absence d'une moule et d'une crevette voire d'une petite pomme de terre (au minimum) dans la choucroute de mer commandée (j'en ai mangé une brasserie Georges à Lyon rien à voir !) ? Quant au dessert (choisi) le Tiramitsu ne m'a pas laissé un souvenir impérissable (beaucoup trop de mousse blanche (chantilly ?)...) dans un verre. Je me suis fait une réflexion faut-il éviter de venir déjeuner en saison (vu le nombre de clients les parts sont - elles rognées ?) car hors saison (j'ai déjeuné en avril à l'équinoxe) rien à dire ?

16/08/2024: Accueil un peu sec à l'arrivée. Nous n'avions pas reservé mais peu importe. Nous avons pris le plateau royal de la mer, il est très bien servi. Les crevettes sont bien charnues, bulots et langoustines de bonne qualité. Le cuisinier avait juste oublie le tourteaux que nous avons dû demander. Les autres plats sont bien egalement. La serveuse est venue plusieurs fois afin de voir si notre dejeuner se passait bien et a débarassé plusieurs fois afin de nous liberer de l'espace. Elle etait bien sympathique. Cest la seconde fois que nous venons lors de nos vacances en vendée.

01/01/2025: Déjeuner familial avec enfants; on s'est sentis bien. Accueilli chaleureusement. les crêpes délicieuses, originales. Les desserts maisons. Un très bon moment pour nous tous.

22/06/2024: Restaurant, to avoid! The waitress has a disconcerting nonchalance… 27 people at the table and 45 minutes, just to take an order for aperitifs. I'll let you imagine the wait! We found plastic in the foie gras and the only answer we got was that it had been removed incorrectly. Never again!!!

16/04/2024: Very nice discovery, this Kimana's Kitchen! the lunch formula with an excellent and hearty salad and a delicious dessert is worth the detour. For dinner we had super good, low-fat accra and delicious skewers. very good value for money and above all excellent cuisine.

27/09/2024: Cadre magnifique, qualité du repas impeccable mais service déplorable. Serveuse pas aimable, service expéditif (apéro et repas servis en même temps). Sincèrement déçus car l endroit est formidable mais la serveuse ne nous donne pas envie du tout de revenir.

28/08/2024: L'endroit est juste super beau. Nous étions installés en terrasse sous la pergola. Le repas est super bon: une choucoute de la mer copieuse et excellente, le burger au steak de thon au top. Je recommande vivement.

21/09/2024: A lovely discovery that we regret not having known about before! Not many choices of dishes but they are so good, we were pleasantly surprised. And the quality of the dishes is equivalent to the quality of the service. Thanks also to the person present in the room, for this food/drink pairing (PS: the caramel smoothie delight at the end of the meal lives up to its name, it's a real delight) We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant and we will definitely come back. Without forgetting to recommend it to the people around us. Thank you all, and see you soon!

22/08/2024: Efficient service. Very good meat. The manager is very pleasant. After reading the comments we didn't dare stop although it was very well located on the way back, that would have been a mistake.

21/08/2024: super cadre et tres bien accueilli, des options végétariennes et des galettes tres bonnes et gourmandes, pareil pour les crepes, les serveurs saisonniers tres sympathique. leur cidre est tres bon également j'y retourne avec plaisir !

21/08/2024: Excellent service, le personnel est très attentionné, souriant et charmant. Excellentes galettes, salade et crêpes. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

24/07/2024: Cuisine recherchée, peut être même trop... Une cheffe à sa tête. Des langoustines servies crues et un ris de veau excellent. 2 menus et un très honnête Pouilly fumé pour 150€.

18/07/2024: Voilà un restaurant qui ne ne se situe pas le long des quais, mais qui mérite de s'y rendre. Parking à 200m. Excellent accueil, plusieurs menus dont vous pouvez mixer les plats (sans suppléments, ce qui se fait rare!) un choix de plats créatifs et parfaitement travaillés, un service sans faille, rapide et compétent, une carte de vins bien fournie et une addition conforme à vos commandes. Ici tout est excellent et le bib Michelin (un menu à moins de 30€) n'est pas usurpé. Restaurant à reserver dès que possible, si vous hésitez à trouver un endroit où pouvoir vous sustenter dans un cadre agréable.

23/12/2025: The room was clean but the decor was outdated, and there was no window! Several lights were out of order, the door lock was faulty, and the toilet didn't flush. Breakfast was basic: no fresh juice, no yogurt, no pancakes, no eggs or bacon... the breakfast room resembled an old canteen. A disappointing stay.

22/09/2024: Worst experience of my life! From start to finish, a disaster! Saturday evening, okay, I understand it's busy, but there are limits. 20 minutes to be seated, 45 minutes to finally get through to take our order, and a good half hour to serve us two salads! Oh yeah, I didn't mention that running out of potatoes for a restaurant called "La Pataterie" is still pretty bad. Not to mention that when it came time to pay, we saw plates of potatoes passing by... Strange... Yes, sorry, they explained to us that there were several varieties of potatoes, but that the one we ordered was out of stock. So excuse my ignorance on this subject; I'm a chef, I thought there was only one kind of potato. Another point regarding the cocktail. (If we can call it a cocktail, given the quality and quantity of it) it was clearly disrespectful. The waitresses wander around, laughing with the customers while the room is full and people are waiting. (It took 40 minutes to bring us a carafe of water because I was finally able to intercept the waitress.) I'll just finish by tipping my hat to waiter Hugo, who runs around trying to do his best. It's difficult to manage a room alone. ATMOSPHERE: I could have given this a 5-star rating for the show, which I found to be worthy of a kitchen nightmare.
