23/05/2026: We came for dinner. The service was pleasant. The food was simple but well-prepared, with a €39 set menu (Bib Gourmand). However, when we were told about the children's menu, the syrup was included, but we were ultimately charged €3. Given the wait and the overwhelmed service, we paid the bill without saying anything. The staff were friendly and smiling. But this billing error was quite unpleasant.

13/05/2026: Excellent from start to finish! The oyster appetizer was very original and delicious!

10/06/2026: Unpleasant, very rude, and they call themselves a parcel delivery service, they kick you out because they're busy, tell you to come back tomorrow. It's not a place to go.

28/02/2026: Good bar, the drinking sessions there are very pleasant and friendly.

03/05/2026: Disappointing!!! The galettes and crêpes were dried out and the filling was meager. We're still looking for the andouillette sausage in the galette! Two slices under a ton of potato. And don't even get me started on the prices 😏 up to €19 for a galette and €6 for a crêpe with jam is a bit much! This isn't the best crêperie in Les Sables 😩

28/05/2026: Long wait before our aperitif orders were taken. Very limited menu, many items unavailable. €43 paid for two drinks (lemonade and a draft beer), a burger, and a "Caesar salad"—very expensive for the quality. The burger was completely reheated in the oven before being served; the tomato was hot and the bun was very dry. The Caesar salad consisted simply of lettuce, tomato pieces, and two whole chicken thighs (which you had to debone yourself!). We have rarely eaten at such a disappointing restaurant.

28/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit. We came with high hopes, based on last summer's menu which offered a vegetarian dish, but the service was disastrous. As soon as I asked if there was a vegetarian option, the waitress snapped at me, "This is Bœuf Plage, you know." This was followed by a very haughty and inappropriate attitude, essentially telling us that the cook would be in a bad mood if he had to cook a vegetarian steak... Unbelievable for a restaurant owner. To top it all off, the waitress tried to act "cool" in a very awkward way by calling us "youngsters," while we could hear her in the kitchen exchanging insults "just for laughs" with the cook. The atmosphere was particularly oppressive. As for the food, it was more than mediocre for the price. The fries were frozen. We didn't ask for the receipt, but the final bill was baffling: €23 for a Caesar salad (which consisted of just three pieces of lettuce) and a Coke. Even with the Coke costing €3.50, that's outrageously expensive for such an empty salad. In short, appalling service, judgmental behavior towards customers, and unjustified value for money. Avoid this place.

15/04/2026: We've returned to La Pibole restaurant since the previous owners closed. A very friendly welcome, a varied menu, quick service, and excellent quality dishes at a very reasonable price. We'll be back!

07/04/2026: Great restaurant, reunited with the former owners of Le Galion, excellent cuisine, friendly staff, well done!

31/05/2026: We arrived late for lunch, a party of six, and were promptly served on a sunny Mother's Day Sunday at the beach. No complaints whatsoever. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the service and staff were pleasant, contrary to some negative reviews. Let's not forget that behind every expectation, the servers are still human beings, running around trying their best to ensure our satisfaction. Great experience, and best of luck to the staff.

30/05/2026: This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! I was expecting yet another overpriced tourist trap like you often find on the seafront in busy areas… But not at all! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was delicious, the homemade fries were amazing, the prices were reasonable for a beachfront location, and the service was very friendly. From now on, it will be our go-to spot for any future stay in Les Sables 😉

25/08/2025: Unpleasant person, a terrace with tables but without chairs, we were only 3 people and there were only 2 people in the restaurant, so how can we say that there were chairs and in number, but let's say there were 3 chairs outside, 2 of which were used by the waitress or the restaurant owner's wife and one in a corner, how can we say that for August 15th and after 3 hours of searching for food, 30 minutes of walking, to have such a welcome is incredible, I couldn't tell you the taste of their product, my partner ate but I didn't, out of the question to participate in such a money-making meal

22/08/2025: Sushi Order We're not hotel guests but ordered sushi tonight for the first time. Very friendly staff on the phone and at reception, very good sushi, and the chef even gave us a little extra and all the necessary side dishes (sauces, salad, chopsticks)! We'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: Hello everyone reading my reviews. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a lovely setting near the Lay River and the port of L'Aiguillon. I highly recommend this place. The food is sure to whet your appetite, especially the fish dishes, or, for me, the eel with garlic and parsley – my favorite dish here. What more could you ask for? Enjoy your meal!

16/05/2026: A good brasserie with an elevated view of the port, simple, unpretentious, friendly, welcoming, good food – what more could you ask for? In this resort where all the fancy restaurants are fully booked, here you'll at least find a warm welcome and a good menu.

25/05/2026: We come here regularly for our usual coffee. And once again (the third time), we find lipstick on the rim of the cup. To top it all off, it's almost our fault... It's disgusting.

09/04/2026: Great location, beach 10-minute walk, good shower, access day and night, breakfast is ok

05/02/2026: I'm giving it 1/5 because it's located opposite the train station, so 1 point for being a real tourist trap. The room was gloomy, with a 1960s vibe, and a tiny bathroom where you can't even open the door all the way. The shower curtain took 20 minutes for the hot water to come on when you turned on the shower. Shower gel and shampoo were in small test sachets. The pillow was flat, very flat. By the window, there was a sign saying "Please do not leave your cigarette butts on the sill," which speaks volumes. I didn't want to open the window, even though I'm a smoker. As for breakfast, it was terrible. The breakfast room looked like a school cafeteria. The coffee was served in a coffee maker. Seriously, for €9.50, make an effort! Don't come here; stay at the Cit'Hotel Le Chêne Vert next door for the same price.
