17/09/2024: Restaurant that I'm starting to get used to going to. The cuisine is top notch for a price that is not excessive. The room can sometimes be quite noisy when there are a few people, but that doesn't stop you from having a good time. I recommend.

21/09/2024: Typical rural French restaurant, don't expect a lengthy menu, but there is something for everyone. Friendly service, delicious and neatly prepared dishes. Not cheap, but certainly not exclusively expensive for what is offered. Recommended: YES

22/09/2024: Restaurant discovered today, it was very, very good, lots of choice, it feels homemade, it is well served, and quickly. The welcome and service were perfect. The chef and her staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Nothing to say, except that it was a great discovery, to be recommended!

15/09/2024: Habitués de Gérardmer depuis des dizaines d'années nous n'avions jamais déjeuné au Chalet des Bas Rupts, ce fut une belle découverte que nous regrettons pas pour mon anniversaire. Accueil impeccable souriant, agréable. Service parfait, digne d'un étoilé Michelin. Cadre cosy, le bois donne un aspect chaleureux à la salle de restauration et le salon avec ses gros fauteuils sont bien agréables pour y boire son apéritif ou son café à la fin du repas. Prix du menu 58 € correct pour un relais et Châteaux, cocktail du jour 18e et café 5 € , les boissons sont un peu onéreuses comme les vins. Choix entre 2 plats (un peu juste) mais nous sommes ainsi sûrs de de fraicheur des produits par rapport à des cartes à rallonge. Petits amuses bouches : panna cota au pin, gougère. Pré entrée : tartare de poisson, pain grillé. Nous avons opté pour un carpaccio de gambas : très frais, floral, bon équilibre entre les gambas, la fraicheur des fleurs et la douceur du melon, entrée d'une grande finesse. Pour la suite, j'ai opté pour le turbotin et sa déclinaison de carottes, parfait portion correct et suffisante pour moi, bon équilibre. mon épouse a choisi pour la caille farcie , joli plat coloré, peu être un peu trop chargé en olives. Desserts : feuilletée aux fraise pour Madame parfait bien équilibrée, belle rondeur en bouche ,doux, feuilletage fin. Pour ma part, un grand classique que mon maitre d'apprentissage me faisait travailler pendant les 3 années de mon CAP, presque quotidiennement, le soufflé Grand Marnier, un régal accompagné d'une glace vanille bien parfumée et d'une petite coupelle de fruits rouges frais. Plateau de petits fours en fin de repas, nous n'avons pas pu les déguster, nous n'avions malheureusement plus fin et nous n'avons pas osé les emporter pour le soir ! Café avec truffe chocolat enrobée de couverture blanche. Le pain est excellent, belle croute craquante, mie fondante. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous sommes ravis de l’accueil, du service, du repas et du cadre. Expérience à renouveler mais nous attendrons le changement du menu. Dommage le prix des chambres est un élevé pour y séjourner quelques jours mais c'est le prix à payer pour ce type d'établissement.

11/08/2024: La notoriété du restaurant nous préparait à mieux . Serveurs très sympas Terrasse impeccable. Repas.... Menu à 58€.. Entrée,.lapin pour moi...bon mais...bof Cassolette escargots pour madame...6 escargots nageant dans une soupe de persil...plus que bof. Plat :poisson du jour, poisson nickel, par contre sauce accompagnante, genre bisque...très très forte, pas agreable. Desserts:feuilleté fraises, impeccable Mi fondant...bcp trop sucré. Bref, déception C'était bon, mais aucune émotion gustative. Dommage

21/09/2024: Very friendly and friendly staff. The hotel is well located in a quiet environment. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed when it comes to cleaning, especially in the bathroom, it’s a disaster! Not to mention the smell of humidity in the room. As a stopover formula, the evening meal was more than average.

17/07/2024: Personnel competent et agreable ce qui relève la moyenne du directeur fort antipathique à la limite de l’incorrection ! Il a beaucoup de chance d’avoir une bonne équipe (travailler dans cette ambiance, je plains le oersonbel) et qui plus est ne daigne pas meme venir s’excuser de son erreur dans la facture, remarquée encore une fois par sa serveuse ! Une reconversion vous épanouirait peut etre Cher Monsieur ! Bref, cuisine mediocre, salle bruyante, déçus de notre repas a l’occasion de mon anniversaire, nous n’y retournerons pas !

17/08/2024: For an unusual night we will remember it, the inedible meat from the stupid week we couldn't cut it with the knife I'm full of nerves myself I'm a butcher I've never seen meat so bad cooked we are going to represent roast beef it was spoiled meat I was so angry I forgot to take photos and we had taken one night plus breakfast we left I do not recommend this restaurant very disappointed thank you for your understanding and have a good evening

30/06/2024: Hotel restaurant in FUIR Having received a box I chose this hotel rated 4 stars Rooms 2nd floor very small furniture very old. Bathtub all scratched Damaged parquet floor, spider web, broken light fixture, poor quality bedding Dinner time between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Hourly lunch between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., after no more service Meal imposed a few slices of cold meats, 4 potato fritters and a little salad. Dessert 3 small scoops of ice cream with whipped cream, no starter, water or bread, drink not included Lunch my very dirty cup sent back to the kitchen Per person 1 industrial croissant, 1 small piece of bread 1 fruit 1 small cup of buttered jam
