14/08/2026: As mentioned in another review, I can confirm that the €16.50 set menu is only available to locals! Logically, the bill increases significantly when ordering à la carte for a meal for four on a weekday lunchtime. We are locals, not tourists! I would have appreciated a menu more suited to the season and more flavorful/creative. I wasn't impressed by the "large" summer salad, neither by the quality of the ingredients nor by the size and basic presentation of the dish. A disappointing experience in terms of value for money. Beware of the knives, which are often dull, and be prepared to ask questions about the wines; the friendly waitress admitted she knew nothing about them! Simple aperitifs like Picon or a half-pint of beer, for example, are not listed on the menu (and consequently, there are no prices either). We will not be returning, as we did not enjoy a proper restaurant meal, and the service was quite slow.

09/08/2026: Nice restaurant, pleasant decor, we ate well. One drawback: the white wine was served at the wrong temperature (ask for a bucket with ice cubes), and the whipped cream from a can on a dessert costing nearly €9 is unprofessional.

19/08/2026: Very rude owners and bad vibes; I can't recommend it. I got yelled at for wanting to eat some bread I had brought on my bike ride. Come on!

15/07/2026: A very large screen allows you to follow the Tour de France cycling race from the terrace, at the foot of the abbey site and its pétanque courts.

09/08/2026: It's a real shame there's a lack of communication between them. I ordered a paella dish, they took my payment, and when I got there, the chef told me they didn't have any more paella, so I got a refund and had to quickly order another dish. Then the dish arrived cold, even though the rectangular plates didn't fit in the microwave. What a shame.

14/05/2026: Not many people for a Sunday 😱 It used to be much better. The restaurant's entrance is filthy, even covered in cobwebs... The carpet is littered with dead leaves and other debris... Frankly, it's no wonder it puts people off. Between courses, the cook is cleaning his planters on the terrace... That was our last visit. Otherwise, the meal was quite good.

13/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to Bon Accueil. The bread served was clearly stale, which immediately gave a bad impression. We ordered a charcuterie board advertised as "XL to share," but it was ridiculously small for what was promised. Furthermore, the quality of the products was truly disappointing. The only positive points were the fries, which were good, and the service, which was quick. It's a shame, because with better quality products and portions more in line with the description, the experience could have been much better. The view is nice but doesn't justify the prices.

25/07/2026: Visiting the area for the weekend, we decided to stop at this charming little place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant, with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. Excellent service 👌 No complaints whatsoever.

10/08/2026: After 40 years of traveling, this is the first time I've been forced to sleep in my car! Rating 1.0 1.0 Nothing I don't usually book this type of accommodation. Knowing the Vosges region and only having 6 hours to spend there (getting up at 4 am), I booked. I arrived at 10 pm and left at midnight. The room was an absolute oven, 32 degrees Celsius in the evening. The only way to cool down was to open the window. The nightmare began. The room was above the kitchens, with the constant clatter of dishes until 11 pm. Worse still, it also overlooked the courtyard of the café next door, where groups of young people were shouting and laughing very loudly. It was impossible to sleep. At 11 pm, from the window, I asked these young people to respect the hotel guests. Snickers, insults... it continued. At 11:10 PM, I finally decided to close the window. This barely reduced the noise, as the windows are very old and single-glazed. The atmosphere became stifling. I went downstairs at 11:30 PM to report the noise and ask for it to stop. The manager then said she would speak to the bar (knowing that there was still a lot of noise from both the restaurant and the bar). At 11:50 PM, nothing had stopped. I gathered my few belongings and went downstairs to return the keys. There, the owner displayed absolutely astounding bad faith. Her first reaction was to ask if the room had been paid for, even though the hotel service hadn't been provided since its primary purpose—to sleep—couldn't be fulfilled. She then claimed to have gone to the bar next door and that there was no more noise since the bar had closed. I then confronted her with the facts and asked her to come to the room. It was very clear from there that the young people were still there... She then stated that they were not making any noise and that the absolutely excessive and unhealthy heat was normal.

25/05/2026: Thank you very much for your hospitality and generosity, I recommend this hotel, the breakfast is very generous.

15/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome from the hostel managers. We called 15 minutes beforehand to reserve a table for 10 people and were very well received. The buffet was varied and the food was really good; it was a nice change from what we usually eat. The setting is very pleasant; we had a large table all to ourselves in a private room… absolutely perfect! 👍 Thank you so much! ☺️

13/08/2026: A motorcycle ride, a drink stop, a good meal. That says it all. The welcome was perfect. The self-service concept is great. The value for money is excellent. A great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

14/07/2026: Very friendly service. Gluten-free options are quite limited, but they did omit the sauce and dressing. The outdoor ambiance is okay.

12/07/2026: I ordered a four-cheese pizza and ended up with a goat cheese and honey pizza. This is the third time I've received a different pizza. I think it's not rocket science to match the correct pizza to the order. Anyway, there won't be a fourth time.

30/10/2025: The decor and style don't exactly make you want to linger. Now that we've addressed that issue, we can move on. I had a fantastic raclette, but the service was really lacking in tact. They could do much better.

26/10/2025: Very good, very friendly restaurant. The soup is very good, as is the cheese and chips.
