16/11/2025: Reasonable priced and excellently located hotel. Room was very clean and had everything I needed. Good location for trains and car hire. 10-15 min walk to shops and tourist areas, depending on your speed. Local restaurants nearby. Manager was lovely and I was able to leave luggage with hotel for a while after I had checked out.

19/01/2026: Currently in liquidation, leaving us without a venue or caterer four months before the wedding. Not even an email to inform us of the situation! We had to contact the mayor of Montesquiou to confirm our suspicions.
27/09/2025: In July, we chose Château Le Haget for our wedding. We were delighted. The campsite around the château allowed our guests to arrive the Tuesday before the wedding, giving us a few days to spend with our loved ones. The location is ideal; the children quickly took to it, and we were able to organize soccer, pétanque, and molky tournaments, as well as pool and walks. In the morning, we all had breakfast together at the foot of the château, and in the evening, we gathered for dinner. The vacation itself was unforgettable!
The highlight of this moment was the wedding. We were able to decorate the room to our liking, we ate well, and partied all night long!
Throughout the development of this major project, we were able to count on the professionalism and sound advice of Émilien, Floriane, Matthieu, and Frédérique. They made sure that both the vacation and the wedding were top-notch. We have unforgettable and, above all, very happy memories of this timeless moment.
We plan to repeat the vacation with our loved ones "at the castle," as we now call it.

24/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance during a stroll. Great concept, very welcoming, delicious food, we had a wonderful time as a family, thank you!
18/01/2026: An appealing concept, but a much less pleasant atmosphere.
We arrived as a group of three (two adults and a 12-year-old) hoping to enjoy hot chocolate and share a treat. This was clearly too ambitious an undertaking for the establishment.
After a forced "hello," we were subjected to a special forces-style briefing: sitting together was out of the question. The instruction was clear and firm: two at one table, the other isolated. All this was delivered in a tone that implied any breach of the rules could have serious consequences.
It's a shame, because the concept is enticing… right up until the initial welcome. Smiles, kindness, and politeness seemed to have been put on hold, probably for logistical reasons.
Let's hope that one day the "sweetness" offered extends beyond just treats to include customer service. In the meantime, we'll continue our quest for hot chocolate… elsewhere.

01/03/2026: What a shame. This hotel, where we come every year on the same date, has deteriorated in every way. No more restaurant service on weekends, the beds are too hard, and the rooms are outdated. The reception is pleasant, but...
07/02/2026: Okay for one night... but no more. No family rooms. The equipment and condition are extremely outdated... close to a busy road. Very poor insulation; you have to crank up the heat because the thermal bridge to the outside isn't properly maintained. The shower ceiling is peeling off... limescale stains in the sink and toilet. The mattress is extremely hard and uncomfortable. Furthermore, one side of the hotel is inaccessible by car... you drive past rooms that are no longer in use and look abandoned, probably undergoing renovation, but visually, they're not great.

23/02/2026: My experience at the Lectoure casino was impeccable. We received a very warm welcome at the entrance and in the restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We had a wonderful lunch; the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. It was my birthday, and dessert was on the house, which was a lovely touch. The young waiter was very pleasant, as was the rest of the team. The casino itself is beautiful and inviting, with a wide variety of games available. I highly recommend it.

06/03/2026: Absolutely filthy! Lots of products are missing, and the ice cream machine has been broken for ages. What a shame! They really need to get their act together, don't they?!
06/03/2026: If it were possible to get a zero-meter bill, that would be great. The place is in a terrible state. The order screen is supposed to print my receipt, but nothing comes out. The woman tells me I need the receipt, and I tell her it's not coming out, but she replies, "I know, a part is broken, so nothing comes out, but I still need the receipt..." 🤓 The fries are white, like they came straight from the freezer. In short, this place needs to be shut down; one day there will be food poisoning.

23/08/2024: Quelle déception. Il faut préciser que les photos datent d’avant le changement de propriétaire.
Nous pensions déjeuner à la péniche mais nous nous sommes retrouvés sur la terrasse du rée de chaussée sur une table non dressée, il manquait des sets de table, des couverts… la carte est à l’image d’une guinguette. En entrée que l’on partage a 2, sans assiette, les moules étaient sèches, le confit de canard était trop cuit. Pas de choix de vin et celui proposé était à 24€ et pas très bon ! Bref nous étions déçus

14/09/2025: Passing through for a weekend, the receptionist is not very welcoming and even unpleasant. The bathroom door does not close or open fully. For the private garage you have to pay 8 euros extra, as for the cafe 8 euros for both, it is really excessive. Swimming pool infested with wasps. This hotel really does not deserve 3 stars.
