09/09/2025: Their website clearly states "all-you-can-eat" menu. It was a wonderful surprise to see that for 23 euros I was treated to a set menu with duck mousse, fried sausage, and a stale fruit salad.
Honestly, it's disgusting. I could have spent less on the local Carrefour for the same thing, and I would have been less hungry leaving McDonald's for the same price. Thanks to the free bread for treating me to this meal that was smashed to the ground.

17/11/2025: There were two incidents. The first time, I wanted ice cream, and the waitress didn't even say hello, saying she didn't make ice cream! On the terrace, there were people eating it. Then, my father and his partner wanted to eat, but there was no unpleasant smile. My father asked what time they closed, and the curt reply was, "We're waiting for you to leave!" He asked for salt, and it was handed to him curtly. Seriously, what happened to customer service? We're not worthless, we come here to eat and support businesses, and we're treated like this when we're being polite and respectful!
29/09/2025: We're very satisfied with this restaurant, both the food and the pizzas, and we'll happily return. The staff is discreet but very, very pleasant.
Go there and judge for yourself.

23/01/2025: While passing through Auch we randomly chose the Campanile. Very warm welcome by a smiling and caring receptionist. The cook was not present for our dinner but our charming receptionist also mastered the cooking side, allowing us to enjoy a duck parmentier. The room was very clean and it was very convenient to be able to park in front of your room. The buffet breakfast was well stocked and we will keep good memories of this night.

23/08/2024: Quelle déception. Il faut préciser que les photos datent d’avant le changement de propriétaire.
Nous pensions déjeuner à la péniche mais nous nous sommes retrouvés sur la terrasse du rée de chaussée sur une table non dressée, il manquait des sets de table, des couverts… la carte est à l’image d’une guinguette. En entrée que l’on partage a 2, sans assiette, les moules étaient sèches, le confit de canard était trop cuit. Pas de choix de vin et celui proposé était à 24€ et pas très bon ! Bref nous étions déçus

17/09/2025: I am extremely disappointed with your ham and butter sandwich. The ham tasted good, however my disappointment is focused on the largely insufficient amount of butter. Being spoiled by this lack of butter, I will never come back because €3.90 for this piece of bread is unjustified.

No friendliness, felt like I was bothering you. Luckily, the pastries are good; it's definitely not the saleswoman who sells.

23/09/2024: Historical hotel, we really liked it, but it's certainly not for everyone as the rooms are very uniquely designed. Room number 3 was definitely original, with a bed on steps,...
The food was a dream, the service was very pleasant and friendly, sometimes a little delayed. As I said - not for everyone, but if you are open to a rustic atmosphere, then it is highly recommended. The location is right in the center.
29/08/2024: mehh... you arrive in Auch, the historic capital of Gascogne, a historic city with an imposing cathedral, you stay at the Hotel de France. Hotel de France, in the town hall square, the most you can expect, a hotel named after the country! Hotel de France, stately rooms... perhaps a little old-fashioned, but with the building and the rooms you feel like a marquis from D'Artagnan's time, perhaps you are a little surprised by the kitsch renovation that they have done to some rooms, instead of Leaving it like Versailles seems like you're entering a modern joint in a gentrified neighborhood... but hey, it's the Hotel de France, stately and you expect it to live up to the country... you wake up in the morning and think, breakfast will be worthy from the best nobleman in the south of France, at the Hotel de France... well no, you go from the opulent marquisate to famine: a half-replenished mini buffet, with things rescued from the last line of the supermarket and a pot to boil your eggs ( great metaphor).
Total fail, it's not petit déjeneur, it's mini-dejeneur! for god's sake! One would expect products from the area so rich in gastronomy 🤦🏻♂️ is that you go to any bed and breakfast and the breakfast kicks you a thousand times! which is the hotel de France! OMG! 🙄🙄
It doesn't matter if you complain, they are French: "well, people think it's good"... normal if they are conformist and have low standards... I don't see the stale receptionist doing many satisfaction surveys either, but that's the hotel de France in Auch, the most emblematic of Auch!... perhaps we should rename it the hotel de France, Ouch! 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Next time we'll look for someone else who is sure to offer varied and local products... be careful, the no-dejeneur will cost you €15. It does not live up to the expectations they generate... and the assessment goes down the drain for something so simple, but important, consistency in the customer experience. Either lower expectations, or raise dejaneur.

23/10/2024: Expérience culinaire décevante et rapport qualité prix médiocre. Si le cadre est très agréable, il n'en est pas de même de la cuisine. Les cèpes censés participer à la recette de l'entrée ont été remplacés par des girolles sans que l'on en soit avertis. Le plat de résistance était brûlé et les portions particulièrement réduites. Le dessert quant à lui était très bon.
Pas un mot d'excuse quand nous nous en sommes ouverts en réglant une note assez conséquente.

27/08/2024: I'm giving it 2 stars because the bread is really good and it's the only thing worth having in this shop. In fact when you take chocolate donuts they give you apple donuts without even checking and when you tell the saleswoman the next time she doesn't give a damn. They make you believe that you are saving money with cheap prices, so they are the same price as a traditional bakery but with less of the commercial aspect... /// Galette des rois buy for €9 and not worth it quality of a pancake on I bought it at Intermarché for €4 (no dry frangipane with a peanut butter flavor and so on).
