05/08/2026: I came in for a coffee and was harassed by a waitress or the owner, who told me to turn down my phone while they were smoking right next to me (I'm a non-smoker), without any consideration for whether it bothered me or not. I strongly advise against going there; the atmosphere is awful, and the owner is rude.

05/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place during a motorcycle ride. It's a small, unassuming restaurant, but you'd be wrong not to go in. The service was very pleasant and the welcome was excellent. We started with the roasted Camembert and the porcini mushroom omelet. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and they were delicious. For our main courses, we had pan-seared foie gras with dauphinoise potatoes and flank steak with shallots, also with dauphinoise potatoes. Again, only fresh, high-quality ingredients were used; the meat was very tender, the gratin was excellent, and the foie gras was incredibly delicious and melted in your mouth. We saw a negative review for this restaurant, and I think it's a mistake because nothing is frozen here. Everything is homemade with love. We recommend it 200%! Enjoy!

The owner and waiter were very friendly, the meat and fries were excellent, and the service was quick. Great location under the arcades. We will definitely be back. 13/06/2026: We just spent three extraordinary weeks at the Hôtel du Commerce in Estang, and we will cherish the memories forever. A huge thank you to Yochen and Anneke, the owners, for their warm welcome, their kindness, their availability, and their constant attention. Thanks to them, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our congratulations also go to Émilie, the housekeeper, for her professionalism, her good humor, and the care she takes every day to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. A big thank you to Didier, the head waiter, for his efficiency, his dedication to service, his friendliness, and his constant attention to the guests. The entire team contributes to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes the stay particularly enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine welcome, quality service, and a warm ambiance. Thank you all for these three exceptional weeks. 04/05/2026: An interesting and innovative culinary experience (menu), original but sometimes surprising. The waiter was a bit gruff and tense (as described in many reviews) but efficient, yet you get the impression you're bothering him... The chef/owner is lovely and comes out of the kitchen whenever he can to greet departing customers. Update from Thursday, April 30, 2026: We arrived at 8:07 PM for dinner. The restaurant door was locked, even though the website indicated it was open. There was no sign on the door. People were dining at a table (probably hotel guests). So we called to inquire: extremely unpleasant responses, with no explanation as to why it was closed. 40 km for nothing.

23/05/2026: Outrageous! We called on a Saturday night for two pizzas at 10:01 PM, knowing they close at 10:30 PM, and the response was "we're finished for tonight." Then we'll hear "yeah, fast food, McDonald's and all that," don't be surprised, guys!

23/07/2026: We came to eat with our three children. The meal was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes. The service was outstanding, and the staff were kind and attentive. Thank you again a thousand times for this experience.

17/07/2026: On Tuesday, July 13th, the heat was scorching, the kind of heat that makes you want to turn yourself into a giant ice cube and float in a pool until retirement. So, my girlfriend and I made the wisest decision of the week: we headed to La Palma in Gimont. There, Pascal served us a glass of sangria with almost suspicious generosity. Filled to the brim, as if defying the laws of physics. If it could have been filled higher, I'm convinced Pascal would have found a way, probably by making a pact with some minor winemaking deity. Then Maëva arrived with the menu, a document listing no fewer than 45 pizzas, which was less of a menu and more of an ancient tome. A selection as dizzying as a cliff, but presented with such a warm smile that you almost forgot the sweltering heat outside. A warm welcome, impeccable service, and pizzas so good it becomes morally impossible to go only once. I'll have to come back. Several times. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for humanity. The cherry on top (or rather, on the pizza) was a 90s-style concert blasting under the Gimont market hall, just in time for a bit of dancing to aid digestion, which, I believe, is the only true way to digest a pizza. In short, you can go without hesitation. Just be careful crossing the street; keep your eyes open for that.

27/07/2026: Ideally located, with a lovely young woman providing attentive service, and of course, delicious and unpretentious dishes. I had the pleasure of trying the burger with small pieces of seared foie gras: a delight. And the meat was butcher-quality. Not to mention their amazing homemade fries 😋 In short, I highly recommend it!
