27/08/2024: vraiment déçu, à la lecture des avis je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux. ce n'est pas mauvais mais ce n'est pas ouf loin de là. en plus il ne faut vraiment pas avoir faim, les portions sont light alors la salade de fruits en dessert, ben un gâteau ou une tarte aurait été un choix plus judicieux, mais c'est le problème du menu unique, bref une fois c'est bien !

06/12/2025: While passing through the Gers region, friends recommended the restaurant L’échappée belle. The reviews I had read seemed contradictory, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The €42 set menu was very well executed, and the service was quite attentive. We shared foie gras, and I had the confit cod with endives and walnuts: everything was delicious. The desserts were simple but effective. The chef was very friendly and came to ask about his customers' impressions. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Well done! We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

01/01/2025: We felt very unwelcome and had the impression of being a nuisance. The other customers got chips, not us. The dishes and desserts chosen were good despite a downside for the rice. Not very filling. We had a good time because we decided to laugh about it, but we won't be going back. For the gentleman who welcomed and served us: smiles, a good apetit, one or two kind words change an evening, an appreciation, and do good, especially if we come to spend money! Thanks anyway, I guess you did your best.

28/09/2024: A place that seems friendly and well placed on the square, an attractive menu but 45 minutes of waiting without taking an order or a drink or even a bottle of water placed on the table... The staff is not welcoming or professional. It’s shameful and a shame.
