20/04/2026: As a regular at this restaurant, I used to come here regularly with pleasure, but this last experience was particularly disappointing. From the start, the waitress announced that she would only bring "two salads for four people" because she was "tired of throwing them away." A completely inappropriate and unprofessional remark that immediately made us feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the rest of the service was of the same caliber: an unpleasant, unfriendly attitude, and generally inappropriate behavior throughout the meal. When it came time to pay, she even had the nerve to ask if we wanted our change back… In this context, the question is quite shocking. A very disappointing experience, completely unlike anything I've had before. I won't be returning and I certainly won't be recommending this establishment, unlike in the past. It's a real shame.

01/12/2025: If you want a unique experience during your visit to Bordeaux, I recommend stopping by this little restaurant. For me, it was like stepping back into the 1960s. It was absolutely charming. Very vintage, as they say these days. And for me, it was an oasis where you can enjoy everything from a coffee to a delicious meal.

31/03/2026: The food is good quality with quick (lunchtime) but very pleasant service. It's best to book in advance, otherwise you'll be seated in the veranda, but it's better than nothing 😀. The late winter atmosphere must be quite different in the summer, and with a reservation, I'm giving it 3 stars, as I was rather confined to the relatively noisy veranda. I highly recommend it, if only for the pleasure of a good meal.

14/04/2026: It's always a pleasure to enjoy a ribeye steak at Scopitone. We also love the flambéed meringue apple tart. I've been coming for 10 years and I'm never disappointed.

09/04/2026: Where to start? Once upon a time a couple decided to try this restaurant, made a reservation online for that same night and made it to the place. It looked cozy, not crowded. Looked carefully at the menu and chose the beef cheek with smashed potatoes and the veal chop. Oh my! What a great choice. Both magnifique. Real tasty. Served with bread and foie gras pate to start as well. The red wines chosen were one from Margaux to go with the veal chop and the Pauillac to go with the other dish. Our verdict was that the Margaux was the best wine, really interesting, structured, tasted some fruity notes. The other one was a bit more acid yet a good choice with the meal. The service was attentive and nice. MUST VISIT
