03/01/2026: Incredible food and atmosphere! The owner and staff were very welcoming and charming, we had a wonderful experience. The quality of the food was excellent too, truly a highlight of our holiday.
10/10/2025: The welcome is cold, even unpleasant, from the owner, who wants his business to be exclusively "upscale."
The location is pleasant, but so are the beach huts right next door, especially since the owner sets the price of the deckchairs based on the customer (€20 for us per person, while the neighbors, for the same level of service and a smile, charge €10).
The restaurant is good, but the plates are half-filled and the price is 20% higher than the neighbors'.
In short: move on!

I enjoyed an absolutely delicious wild boar stew there—tender meat, a richly flavored sauce, and a very generous portion for only €16.
The prices are more than reasonable, the decor is pleasant, and the ambiance with Corsican music makes the experience even more authentic.
A truly wonderful surprise; you can feel the passion behind the dishes.
I highly recommend Le Bonaparte to anyone who wants to eat well in Corte without breaking the bank!

A menu to satisfy all tastes and divine ice cream... The quality of the products is perfect. Good karma can only lead us to "KARMA".

11/11/2025: Excellent sushi. The café liégeois was full of ice cubes, clearly prepared some time ago. The spoon was frozen solid. I reported it, but received no apology. The service was disappointing.

01/03/2026: We came for lunch today to eat sea urchins. When it came time to order, the waiter took a good twenty minutes to arrive. He then told us they were out of sea urchins. Finally, five minutes later, he found us the last dozen, which were very thin and, I think, several days old.
When it came time for the bill, we asked for it several times, but we only received it after a 30-minute wait. Seeing that we were in a hurry, the waiter, as he handed us the bill, made a mocking remark that was frankly inappropriate towards other customers.
In short, the food was passable, but the service and organization clearly need improvement.
28/02/2026: I went to eat at this restaurant for lunch. The setting and atmosphere were decent, however, the service was excellent. But when you learn that the owner hires staff who have legal problems and are wanted by the police, frankly, it's worrying.
I'm honestly surprised by this restaurant, but well, it's everyone's choice.

11/10/2025: I called the hotel reception to reserve access to the spa. The receptionist asked me if the reservation was for all three of us (since there were three of us, my family and I, staying at the hotel). I clarified that no, it was just me, and I asked if that was a problem.
I was told no, that it was no problem, but at no point was I informed of a different rate. When it came time to pay, I was told €30, because the spa is charged for a minimum of two people. I was then told that the welcome booklet mentions a minimum of two people at €15 per person and that "it's written everywhere."
However, on the entrance door of the room, there is no indication of this condition. And above all, when I asked if it was a problem to book alone, all they could have done was reply: "No, that's not a problem, but the minimum is two people, so the rate for one person will be the same as for two." In short, letting your client know, that's enough. This would have given me the choice to book or not. In my case, at that price, I would have simply abstained.
I find this very regrettable: the client doesn't have to guess the implicit rules; it's up to the staff to provide clear information, especially when booking by phone where I had explicitly asked the question.
When I pointed out this lack of communication, I was simply told "it's written everywhere," without any kind of goodwill gesture being offered. Is it really legal to charge for an individual service by imposing a minimum rate for two people, without clearly informing the client at the time of booking? This practice leaves a strong feeling of abuse and lack of professionalism.
This morning, we reported this to the hotel manager, who acknowledged that her colleague should indeed have notified us by phone. She therefore admitted the professional error, but again, we were not offered any compensation. You can therefore not blame us for sharing this opinion: we attempted to resolve this dispute internally and even warned you that we would inform your future guests, since your staff was unable to do so. This clearly didn't bother you, since you replied, "Well, go ahead."
It's a shame, because the hotel is pleasant, but this experience clearly tarnishes your stay.

I would like to correct the inaccurate elements of your response.
When I made my telephone reservation, I was never informed that access to the spa required a minimum of two people. I had clearly read the rate of €15 per person, and I am perfectly capable of distinguishing between €15 and €30.
Not all of your information materials clearly and easily mention this condition; my photos are proof of this. This is therefore a clear lack of transparency, not a misunderstanding on my part.
You claim that your receptionist informed me verbally, but she admitted to us that she hadn't done so, and an apology was indeed offered at the time. So please don't rewrite the facts.
On a more symbolic level, I would say that the mirror effect is sometimes necessary: when an establishment acts unclearly toward its customers, it should come as no surprise that they seek to reclaim what is rightfully theirs.
Perhaps this will help you better understand the feelings of a customer who is being withheld essential information.
Finally, your prices for certain products are, let's be honest, outrageous: €5 for a small box of candy, €5 for 15g of peanuts... This speaks volumes about your concept of hospitality.
I encourage you to review your communication and practices so that other customers don't have to go through the same experience.

15/10/2025: The best thing about the place is that you can look Pascal Paolo in the Face while consuming whatever you have ordered. We ordered a pizza vegetariana, 10% of it was quite acceptable (the edges) the rest was mostly a lot of cheese Anna hint of vegetables. The tagliatelle with tartufo were little less than okay. We would not recommend this place unless you only have a drink. Service was okay ish. Short visit to Corte was comparable to this restaurant experience.

26/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in December during the holiday season. We received a warm welcome and the service was prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed the veal sauté and the house shank; everything was delicious and tender.

03/10/2025: Restaurant to avoid. Very average cuisine, however the bill can quickly add up when you order a Moorish meal and they charge you 1.50 extra for the orgeat syrup...and 3 euros extra for a dessert that isn't on the menu (a crème brûlée!!)...it's a steal...congratulations
24/09/2025: Seated immediately without reservation, only one waitress so rather long service... numerous service hiccups around us, forgetfulness or errors in orders, then to top it all off, following an early departure of 2 dissatisfied customers, a huge argument broke out in the restaurant between the boss, the waitress and the cooks, atmosphere at its best!! As for the meal, the paella was very generous, well garnished but without any real interest....

18/01/2026: This is the second time I've been extremely disappointed with the quality of the food! My pad thai must have been sitting there since at least the day before! Everything was dry and completely tasteless! We ordered €65 for three people; it's unacceptable to eat such poor-quality food at that price! I won't be ordering again and I don't recommend it!

-Meats
-Fish
-Pizza
-Savory crepes
-Mussels...
And the desserts are delicious, plus there's a sea view!
It's simply superb.

Our server was very friendly and professional!
A bonus: he took the time to show our son the various fish on the shore! Highly recommended!
