28/10/2024: Super nice boss. We ordered takeaway pizzas tasting the local Lazzarini wine on site, excellent, great with children and the pizzas were just incredible with unbeatable prices. I can't wait to return to Corsica and eat at this restaurant again.

It smelled indecently of goat, when my sandwich had no trace of it either as meat or cheese. French fries in waste oil. Anyone from a civilized place would say this is not a sandwich. 14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤. The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”

15/09/2024: Exceptionally good Corsican dishes. And on our visit with a single condition for the well-stocked outdoor area, they were very prompt and very friendly and helpful despite the stress. Highly recommended.

13/09/2024: Typical restaurant, cold meats hanging from the ceiling. Decor to explore. Top welcome, active and attentive, the Bonifacienne-style eggplants are simply extraordinary.

14/09/2024: I am surprised that this place does not have 5 stars, I honestly hesitated to arrive because of the reviews, I arrived here because it is the closest when you get off the ferry and wait for your bus to the south of La Corsica (they leave right in front), I arrived not expecting much of the service and food and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. Let's start with the food, it is DELICIOUS!!!! And the desserts, not to mention, were delicious, I think the photos and videos speak for themselves. The service is excellent, the man is so helpful and kind, you can see that he loves what he does, the place has a family and friends atmosphere. Don't be carried away by the old reviews, you are going to LOVE this place!!!

31/08/2024: We arrived late... around 2.30pm because they moved the ship for us. We stopped because it was open as many close at 2pm. Very kindly, we sat down and ordered. The dish of the day was tagliatelle... but given the time we opted for 2 burgers. Very good, much better than the various MC and Burger King ones. The best burger I've eaten so far. The first reviews are a bit scary but it was the old management. Advised.
