The food? Excellent! Tasty dishes, beautifully plated, and prepared with evident care.
A successful blend of flavors and presentation.
09/07/2025: I gave it four stars simply because of a mix-up that significantly lengthened the wait time. The friendly staff apologized, offering an additional glass of wine. Very good dishes, great flavors, and top-notch table setting. Very nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.

15/09/2024: Conosco il ristorante Santa Maria da diverso tempo e si conferma un’eccellenza di Calvi. Situato sotto la cittadella, si caratterizza per un’atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Favoloso il polpo alla mediterranea piatto forte del menù del locale. Eccellenti anche gli spaghetti alle vongole. Ottimi i desserts. Consigliato.
01/09/2024: Plats très bon et copieux. Seuls les beignets de fromage en entrée ont été une fausse note. La pâte à beignet est farineuse et prend le dessus sur le fromage qui n’a pas de goût. Tout le reste était impeccable et c’est une très bonne adresse.

We would like to warmly thank Amandine for her welcome, her availability, her advice (car rental, restaurant, etc.) and her help with our taxi reservation). We don't forget Marie who takes care of the breakfast perfectly.
Very nice and very clean room with stunning sea views
Don't miss eating beautiful grilled meats at the hotel restaurant to the sounds of beautiful Corsican songs. We recommend this hotel!
04/09/2024: Hotel ideally located in Saint Florent with swimming pool and magnificent view of the gulf.
On the other hand, the hotel deserves a good facelift because it is very dated. The rooms are small and poorly soundproofed; we can hear what is happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms. The bathroom smelled like sewage coming up. The air conditioning is very noisy.
For more than €100 per night and 3 stars... we are disappointed.

03/10/2023: Really quiet and clean place, both sanitary facilities and public space, lots of shade under the trees, completely empty (in October), low price including electricity connection, proximity to the sea approx. 400m, 1 x restaurant in the village, small shop, petrol pump, relatively close to the ferry (26km), I slept there for 2 nights with complete satisfaction.

Déçu cependant de la cuisine, nous avions pris des ravioles, lfe crabe bleu qui n’étaient pas exceptionnel, manque de goût et d’assaisonnement. Quant à moi j’avais pris les rognons, les rognons sont servi. non coupé sans sauce, je pensais me régaler mais non dommage je n’ai même pas osé prendre une photo

20/09/2024: Hormis un cadre agréable et atypique, la cuisine est déplorable. Au vu des commentaires précédents, nous nous sommes laissés tenter, nous sommes certainement tombés un mauvais jour. De la salade iceberg en sachet, dés de pomme de terre en sachet surgelés, du jambon qui ne venait certainement pas de l'île de beauté, seul le fromage semblait venir de Corse. Des cannellonis desséchés et un flan à la châtaigne qui avait très certainement séjourné au milieu de la charcuterie dans le frigo car il avait un goût de saussion plus que de châtaigne !!! Inadmissible de servir une tambouille de la sorte !!!!
25/08/2024: Large enough room for 4, with air conditioning. A little dated but still functional. There is a private car park for storing motorbikes, but the hotel's sloped location makes entry and exit not very easy. The breakfast is not very abundant for the asking price, but it was of good quality. Generally promoted

28/09/2024: Cela fait plusieurs années que nous prenons un diner au restaurant du refuge à Orezza.
C’est le seul restaurant de Piedicroce, nous n’avons donc malheureusement pas d’autre option.
Nourriture sans aucun plaisir gustatif dans un climat austère.

03/09/2024: Group of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children) welcomed on the evening of August 15 without reservation. Well done.
Prices are correct for Calvi (Or Corsica). Well placed with a view of the CALVI citadel.
The plates are of good capacity (even if I doubt the kilo of mussels) and the dishes are good.
The copious children's menu and its reasonable price.
The servers were excellent, friendly and smiling.
I advise.

04/09/2024: We stopped by chance on our way to Bastia to board the ship to return to Italy at the port of Savona....I repeat, we ate the excellent caramelized ones with a good salad alongside the ribs, the staff was very kind, they also spoke excellent Italian , highly recommended.
